Hagrid’s hut.

After the game, Harry brought Hermione and Ron here to have afternoon tea with Hagrid.

And, of course, chat about their findings “by the way.”

“I was just discovered by Professor Welfare!” Hermione said with some fear.

Hagrid handed her the strong tea in his hand, and then asked in confusion: “What did Welfare find?”

“I found out that Hermione cast a spell on Snape,” Ron replied matter-of-factly, “but why didn’t the professor tell you?”

Hermione held her teacup and thought, but Hagrid became eager.

“Why did Hermione cast a spell on Snape? How dare you do this to a professor?” He looked at them worriedly.

He hadn’t even noticed Hermione disappearing for a moment, let alone what was happening in the staff stand.

“The strange thing about Harry’s broom is that Snape is casting a spell on it.” Ron picked up a rock pie. “I saw him reciting a spell.”

“Nonsense, according to what you said, if Professor Welfare can find out that Hermione is casting a spell, then he must be able to find out that Snape is also casting a spell!” Hagrid put down the teapot heavily.

Hermione’s expression was very complicated. She squeezed the teacup tightly with both hands, as if she wanted to crush the teacup. Her fingers turned white from the excessive force.

“Then… what if Professor Foley and Snape are in league?”

“Impossible!” Harry retorted immediately, “Professor Welfare is such a nice person, but he and Snape are two extremes. How could they collude?”

Hermione’s loose hand gently placed it in the pocket of her robe, where the handkerchief the professor had given her was placed.

She also didn’t want to make assumptions about the professor.

“But think about it, we have met Professor Welfare on the fourth floor before, and Snape also tried to pass the three-headed dog on Halloween.”

“Wait, how do you know about Lu Wei on the fourth floor?”

“Lu Wei?”

“That’s what I lent to Dumbledore to guard -”

“Guarding what?” Harry asked eagerly.

“That has nothing to do with you!”

“But Professor Foley and Snape want to steal that thing!”

“No way, if Welfare is a gang, why would Hermione be allowed to sabotage Snape’s spell?”

Ron fumbled with his chin and quietly put the rock biscuit back with his other hand. The thing almost knocked out his teeth.

“Is it possible that Professor Foley is a good person and doesn’t want to hurt Harry, but he really wants to steal that thing?”

Hagrid shook his head petulantly.

“No way, no good man would try to steal Nico Flamel’s—”

Harry’s eyes lit up.

“Oh! So that thing belongs to Nico Flamel, right?”

Hagrid was furious and drove the three little ones out of the hut. He decided to lock himself in the house and sulk for a day!

Walking out of the hut, Hermione was still struggling with Professor Welfare’s matter.

“No, I have to ask the professor myself!”

Ron and Harry quickly stopped her.

“Are you crazy?”

“Are you going to tell the professor if you plan to steal anything on the fourth floor?”

Ron imitated Hermione’s attitude of asking questions before giving up her impulse.

“But if the professor really wants to steal that thing, what should we do?” Hermione asked with helpless eyes.

Ron shrugged nonchalantly, “Maybe we can help the professor.”

Hermione suddenly burst into laughter.

“Professor Welfare is just suspicious. Doesn’t Ron play wizard chess with the professor every day? You can test him!” Harry suddenly suggested.

Ron immediately shook his head and waved his hands.

“Forget it, I finally got the opportunity to be given guidance by the professor, and I don’t want to ruin it because of a suspicion.”

“And if you try to face the professor for an hour, his eyes will seem to be able to see through your heart!”

“I don’t dare to ask such a thing at all.”

“Although George and the others said that the professor was too knowledgeable and could detect my thoughts at a glance, I always felt something was wrong.”

He thought about the scene for a moment and suddenly shuddered, with rejection written all over his face.

Harry had never experienced this kind of thing, but he thought of what it would be like to face Snape, and immediately put himself in it.

“Forget it then, let’s check out Nico Flamel’s affairs first. It won’t be too late to make a decision after we know what is hidden there.”

The other two breathed a sigh of relief, and they were unwilling to question Professor Welfare.

“Wait, we have assumed that Snape wants to steal things, right?” Hermione discovered the blind spot.

Thinking of Snape’s different treatment of him, Harry reprimanded:

“Compared to Professor Welfare, I will believe Snape no matter what bad thing he does!”

Other

On the other hand, Tweel didn’t know that he was infected with Snape’s talent for taking the blame. Of course, even if he knew about it, he would laugh it off.

Because he really wants to steal the magic stone.

Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

“Professor, am I not very talented in magic?” Neville said with a cry.

They were practicing the steady output of magic power, but after experiencing the tenth failure, the confidence that Neville had finally cultivated began to collapse.

In the previous course, Tver helped Neville learn to output magic power and successfully released magic.

But there is another problem. When using magic that continues to work, such as the Levitation Curse, Neville’s magic power will be disconnected unconsciously after a period of time.

A bit like the magic point map produced by Tver, the connection between the badge and the map will suddenly break.

This got him interested in exploring.

“Don’t be discouraged. I can assure you that your magical talent will never be inferior to any student in the castle.”

“It’s just that your foundation is not strong enough and you need to practice many times. You have to be mentally prepared to practice twice as long as others.”

Neville sniffed and held back the tears that were about to fall.

“I…I’m not afraid of spending more time practicing than others, but…I just feel like I’ve wasted your time and teachings.”

“How could it be? Teachers should teach students.”

“Here, raise the wand again. This time, the magic output should be slower. I would rather slow down than continue to output as much as possible.”

Neville was deeply touched, and the tears he had just stopped could not help but flow out.

He only has one feeling now – if I can, I will be a student who teaches for the rest of my life!

He simply wiped away his tears, pursed his lips tightly, and his round face was filled with determination.

I can’t cry anymore, and I can’t let the professor down anymore!

The wand was pointed at the ball on the ground.

“Wingardim Leviosa!”

The ball slowly floated up and came to Neville.

“Very good, your spell is much better than most of your classmates. Control the ball to stay in the air, but don’t stop outputting magic power.”

Neville puffed up his little face and stared straight at the ball. Seeing that it was a little erratic, he quickly focused more on the output of magic power.

He was so focused that he didn’t know that this attempt lasted longer than before, and it took him until his magic power bottomed out before he came back to his senses.

Sweat broke out on his forehead due to the exhaustion of magic power, but Neville’s eyes were full of joy.

“Professor! I finally did it!”

Tears filled his eyes again.

“No, I promised not to cry.” Neville thought to himself, then blinked his eyes desperately, trying to hold back the tears.

Tver’s expression was a little strange. While applauding, he asked tentatively:

“Can you fail again?”

Neville: [・_・?]
