- Rubias Perspective

My name is Rubias. This is the third princess of the Kingdom of Bordeaux, a young man who will be sixteen this year. Upstairs my brother has two sisters and is also the youngest son of five brothers. Because of the low right to inherit the throne, I don't have as many nobles and merchants to sneak by as my brother or sister. I mean, I'm not expecting much. My father and mother are adorable for not caring about that, but my brother and sister sometimes have the attitude of looking down on me, so my brothers aren't that good.

The end of a royal family without the right to inherit the throne is largely unwieldy. Boys would be given a small territory to live in, and they would be able to join their son-in-law in the grand aristocracy and add more royal blood. But that's not the case with girls. He is better off if his daughter-in-law sends him out to be related to another country, and if he does poorly, he may be kept and killed in a castle for the rest of his life while he is single.

I thought I was perfectly sorry for such a life, and I had made it my routine to work out a lot from time to time so that I could live alone in the future. Fortunately, I have a reputation for winning men, so no one hesitates to teach me. Thanks to this, swords and spears were able, of course, to greedily absorb all things concerning the battle, from equestrian and military command to magic. But the only opponents I can fight that I can't experience in action in a position are soldiers and knights who work for the castle. I understand that I can now play a good game against them, but I can't possibly put all my strength into the princess opponent, so it's almost as if I can't guess what I'm doing here.

There are limits to the workouts you can do in the castle. All I need is an excellent teacher to coach me rigorously, without hesitating to take a stand. My arm stood and my opponent could not hesitate to instruct even the princess - funny information popped into my ear when I was using my hands to gather information every day if there was such a convenient person.

Far south of the Wang capital, there is a small city ruled by Count Grom, a regional nobleman. It seems there has been a recent flood of demons in crisis, but what a single girl, alone, destroyed Rich, the enemy's general for every army of demons. Around the same age as me, you think swords and magic are overwhelmingly strong? Besides, the daughter is the instructor of a newly created training center, and seems to be so instructive as to produce a number of talented students. This is it when I heard that story! I thought.

If I teach that daughter, I will be able to gain strength like never before. Even for a short period of time I was wondering if I could get out of the castle and manage to get to the city of Count Grom, and to my surprise I got the information that the person in question was coming to the King's Capital.

A real chance to meet a thousand people! I thought this was God's guide because he would come all the way from the other side, even though he couldn't be satisfied to leave the castle. I kept waiting for a thousand autumn memories until she arrived at the castle. Just the second week after his father called him in, Count Grom and she arrived at the Royal Castle.

The first impression I've seen of her is that she's just pathetic and cute - even. Though I was confident there in my appearance, too, when I saw her, such confidence blew up in the woods. I can't believe there's such a beautiful creature in this world. Not even an elf, a fairy species, would be as beautiful as she is. But at the same time, the question brings my head. From what I've judged on the outside alone, it doesn't look very fightable. It's so luxurious that I don't think I've ever had anything heavier than a knife, not a metaphor.

But what fools do, such as insult just by appearance. I dared to keep my mouth shut and observe in order to identify her power. Then some noblemen, starting with the uppermost brother Steed, began to claim that her accomplishments were lies. Despite the proud spies of our country and the testimony of many knights and soldiers who witnessed her battle. Brother Steed, there was something headstrong about him, and this rebellion was far enough to predict, just because he was the one who gave priority to his common sense, which was solidified over the facts in front of him.

In the end, to convince her brothers, Miss Lapis was to have a mock fight. Besides, the opponents, whether soldiers or knights, are also powerful fighters of the kingdom. Transalp, the best sword user in the kingdom who worships a thousand captains, is strong. I've put my sword together a few times too, but I didn't get my hands or feet. In addition to such men, they even join bow masters and court magicians, so it seems more like public private punishment or something than mock warfare.

Everyone thought that the rumored Lapis lady would also be hit with nothing she could do. In fact, I didn't think it was possible for me to win either, so much so that at least I was making the healers refrain so that I could heal my injuries immediately. But as it turned out, the battle ended with Miss Lapis' overthrow. Strong men boasting of their arms are defeated by her opponents without being able to pull out their swords. Her movements are sophisticated and useless enough to make her want to suspect that she has eyes behind her, driving her opponent precisely out of combat. I thought I received the flying arrow by hand, throwing it back at a speed faster than a bow, and the magic of the court magician was crushed with a magic stronger and greater than that. Even though he unleashed a fireball unchanging enough to melt the ground to the mention, he hasn't breathed a single thing.

When she finished the battle, gracefully, she instantly recovered those she defeated. She uses fire, ice, thunder, healing and the magic of the four attributes, even if we could only confirm it in this battle. And it's all unchanging. A court magician in my country can't do that, not to mention a famous adventurer.

... I thought it was a monster. I could not believe in itself that such a human being existed in this world. I know it's not as brave as the ancient ones told in the legend, but I still thought it was a good enough strength to name a brave man. If she cared about it, wouldn't it matter if the Demon King was back? I was strong enough to think so.

After the mock war, Father and some nobles gathered to begin the meeting. Naturally included among them are the lords of the city where she lives, Count Grom. The content of the meeting is whether or not to publicly recognize her as a brave man. Currently, each country has its own certification of a brave man, and each has made a leap to earn the merit of the Demon King's Crusade. Naturally, my country should also have brave men, but it has not yet been decided. There are many if only candidates. Except for the fact that they were all chosen on the basis that it was a family thing, or that they just stood up in arms, and they had personality problems. If you certify those people as brave, you're going to discredit the country greatly, like the brave men of the Rebble Empire you've heard about. So the choice of the brave needed to be made carefully.

In the meantime, it was Miss Lapis who showed up. It's impeccable if it's strong. I mean, I don't think there's anyone stronger than her. So, what's your personality? This is not a problem either. According to the investigation, she works in the city every day in tunnels, and there is no indication that she dyed her hands in crime, etc. He seems to be friendly with the residents, and most importantly, he beats with his own hands the brave men of the Levre Empire who worked assaults on his own friends. That mind, not concerned with its position and able to act with the thought of its friends, made it feel like it was the bearer of a noble soul.

The martial officers were generally in favour of making her a brave man. Having been shown overwhelming strength, they argued that it was the strong who should be brave. In contrast, the nobles show a difficult color. They want to put their breathtaking figure in the brave and increase their influence in the kingdom, so they can't certify her as a brave man. Conflicting meetings. Father keeps his arms around him deeply silent and utters no words. Brother Steed, who was taken in by the nobles, is clearly opposed to it. When he thought it was unclear, his father asked Count Grom.

"It's Grom. What does she think herself? Assuming we tell you to be brave, how do you think she'd react to what she said?

Count Gromm, the lowest of all those who participated in this meeting, has not uttered a word from the outset. There are verses that I think are more useless to say than to say that I am putting my position aside. I didn't participate in wasted discussions and get the most out of less opportunities - I felt like I was moving towards that. Such a man is questioned by his father and opens his mouth for the first time.

"So... on a personal note. I just tried to certify her as a brave man, and I don't even think she'll take it."

Zawali and the place get noisy. The samurai stand up to immediately deny their opinions, but were stopped by their father.

"Hmm... why?

"Yes, first of all for one reason, because she has a very hateful personality to stand out. She made a valiant name for herself in the battle against Rich, but then she avoids things that stand out as much as possible, doing authentic work every day. With as many arms and beauty as she has, there should be as many opportunities to raise her name, etc. I decided I was giving it up because I was avoiding being conspicuous."

Several people are nodding looking at the material at hand. I guess I have something to think about.

"For a second reason, she is reluctant to leave the city of Suphore. Because there are so many friends in that city who are close to her, it's hard to imagine moving to the king's capital, even if you throw it away."

"Why don't we just let him obey us with his royal life!

One of the nobles slapped his desk and shouted so, but Count Grom doesn't even shake small. He quietly looked back at the risen aristocracy with a gaze that could be described as cold.

"I beg your pardon, but what do you think would happen if I bought her an unhappiness? Her power is already, as you know, overwhelming. Out of the question, such as letting them follow by force. Even if you do, you're in danger of being transferred to another country on condition of your own safety and that of the people around you? Who the hell is going to take responsibility if that power turns to the enemy?

The rebutted aristocrat bit his lips all the way down and took his seat roughly. Because I found Count Grom's words to be facts that I had no intention of disputing. My father, who was watching the exchange, asked Count Grom again.

"Then it's Grom. What do you think would be the best response to that girl?

"Perhaps… static is best, Your Majesty"

"Still looking?

"Yes, it would be better to keep the status quo rather than leave our hands poorly. I wonder if it is only to those who wish to be brave who certify themselves as brave. Fortunately, she is good enough not to allow other followers as a teacher. If we get her to train some brave candidates, there's a chance that our country's brave will emerge from it."

Earl Grom seems to be right in his statement. The martial officers who had pushed her to be a brave man until just now had figured it out, silenced with a look that bit down the bitter bug, and the nobles of the opposition were quiet about their future response.

"... you're apparently right about Grom. Then let's stop certifying the brave of the lapist and let her train the brave candidate. I'm a candidate."

"Father! Give me that role!

My father was surprised at me for suddenly raising his name and everyone who attended the meeting. Naturally. I rarely even attend meetings because I suddenly put up my name as a brave candidate.

"... Rubias, what are you going to say? How can you admit that it's better to be a brave man?

"That's right, Rubias! You stay back!

"No, Father, Brother. I can't think of anything but me for this role!

My father's objection is purely to guide me, but not to my brother. I'm sure he's willing to send his own breathtaking person under her. I can imagine not having to meet my brother's chosen person in person. He must be a tall man, looking down on civilians from the edge. What happens if someone like that comes into contact with her? The result is more obvious than seeing fire. Besides, even if it's not about my brother, I think it's similar to the people they choose here. Then I thought it would be best for me to act as a brave candidate, being honestly bowed my head without worrying about the difference in identity and being able to put up a sign called Royalty. I try desperately to persuade my father and his men to show difficulty.

"Think about it. What would folk grass think if I were a brave candidate? The Bordeaux royal family will be glad to stand up for themselves, taking their swords. Besides, it should also be a good appeal externally. What would it be like if only the Kingdom of Bordeaux made royalty a brave man while other nations tailored brave men of uncertain qualities"

My fathers shut up about the facts I pointed out. It's true what I told you, but there's one thing I kept quiet about. That's my chance to be independent. If it stays this way, it will undoubtedly be kept and killed, and it will likely be made a political tool for my brother, who will take over the throne in the future. But what happens if you raise your name as a brave man? I will no longer be treated as just a princess, and if I succeed, I may be given my own territory, just like the men's royal family, to spend the rest of my life in peace. It's bad for your father, but you couldn't miss that opportunity.

Seeing me wielding a hot valve rarely and desperately trying to persuade you, I guess eventually Father gave up too. In the form of reluctance, but he convinced me once and for all.

"It's Rubias. If that's the case, I'll take him as a brave candidate and leave him with me. But don't worry, once you're a brave candidate, you won't be allowed to behave like a royal. Build yourself as much as you can, not only in the Kingdom of Bordeaux, but in the hope of all mankind."

"I understand, Father. Thank you for accepting my love."

Father sighed deeply at me as I broke my knee and lowered my head deeply on the spot. As opposed as it really was, Father gave priority to my position as King over as a father. I must be stronger than anyone to meet such father's expectations. After the meeting room, I could not contain nature and feelings from exalting. Miss Lapis - how strong can I be if I teach you? I look forward to it now.
