Hero System! Transported to Another World

Ryan was lying on the chair. It seemed like he was finally free from the work he had and got some resting time. A buzz caught his attention as he turned towards the source. He hesitated to pick up the phone but did so anyways. "Imani? What's happened?" Ryan asked as soon as he picked up the phone.

Imani replied, "Well… I want to report that Alex is awake. He seems to be in a normal condition and nothing else is off. No abnormal changes." She explained.

Ryan took a deep breath of relief and spoke, "I finally got my overview job complete as well so I'll be off for today and tomorrow. Tell Alex to relax as well. Once some time passes, I have a job for him. Till then he needs to stay put…" Ryan seemed to be happy that nothing was different about Alex. 

Imani nodded as she ended the call and went to the kitchen. After a few minutes, The door bell to Alex's room rang. Alex quickly opened the door to see Imani at the door. She was holding some food for Alex. Alex smiled and spoke, "thank you, I was getting hungry…" He looked at Imani.

Hearing Alex, Imani smiled back and shook her head, She looked at Alex and spoke, "I'm glad to help. But I do need to inform you that you need to stay put and relax for a few days. We're in a calm stage right now. Ryan said that once some time passes, he'll put you up for a job but till then you're on break. Awakend calls will be taken by the others so you don't need to do anything unless it's an emergency Call…" She explained slowly.

Alex was a bit surprised by the news but he seemed happy by it. He nodded and smiled, "I don't mind that at all." 

Imani nodded and was about to leave the apartment but she quickly remembered something and looked at Alex. Alex also looked back at Imani, and spoke, "Did I miss anything?" He was confused at Imani's sudden turn.

Imani shook her head and smiled, "I didn't know you were such a Liar… To think that you hid so much power inside of you. I can see why Ryan wanted to be a bit wary of you and why Hana was so fond of you. To think that full power you could fight someone equivalent to a low class S rank… At this point, You're probably the 2nd strongest A rank in this country… Luckily not many people know about this or it would have reached headlines in every news channel here." She explained.

Alex looked confused, He spoke, "I… Thank you? I don't think I've hidden that much of my powers but I guess I can see what you mean. I've just been lucky in many situations. Other than that, I can't really say much. Thank you though, The last thing that I want is the news headlines. Seems like a bit of a pain to be known by people." He smiled.

Imani nodded and spoke, "Well you're our hidden gem so that's that. I will need to go now. I still have to look out for the security of this place." Imani quickly walked towards the elevator.

Alex was a bit confused and stopped Hana, "Wait, why are we still on high security?" He was curious.

Imani looked confused by Alex's words but she quickly remembered something. "Ah yeah, You passed out after taking out the scientist, right? A hidden S rank came out of no where while Hana about to take down the masked awakeneds. They even took a direct blow but ran away before Hana could capture them. Both of them were extremely injured so we're doing some searches for them. Because of that and how you disappeared before, We had to bump up the security of this place. They know about you so we wanted to be more protective here. Now that you're awake, We can lower the guard a bit but it's still an important job to protect the people in the area from possible attacks." Imani answered truthfully.

Alex nodded and closed the door after watching Imani enter the elevator. 

Once Alex sat on the couch, Hades spoke, "Kid, I think I know who that Hidden S rank was… I remember while killing that Big Reaper, A presence had distracted it. I could feel it as well but It didn't feel familiar to anyone you've met till now. I just shrugged it off as Hana arrived soon after but I do think that the presence was the one who ran away with the Masked Awakeneds… I think we were lucky that Hana was there at that moment because he might have taken you as well if the chance was there." Hades's answer Made Alex freeze for a bit.

He hadn't realized that his life was in such danger without him even knowing or having a clue about it. Alex took a deep breath and sighed, "at least I don't need to think about fighting for some time now… I can relax for a bit." Alex smiled.

Hades started to laugh when Alex took his breath of relief. "Kid… I think your relaxation will not last very long… Let's just say that I unlocked something very interesting…" 

Alex narrowed his eyes and spoke, "What do you mean…" 

Hades took a moment to reply, "While you rest, a lot of the energy that you produce, I absorb. That amount of rest was enough for me to regain some of my powers as well. And combining that and the System… A new feature came up. The bigger problem is I don't know what will happen if activated… I believe that it might be something that not only you but others in this world can access…" Hades seemed very hesitant to speak.

Alex pressed on and asked about what it was, to which Hades continued, "A dungeon… We can Open up a dungeon… Similar to the trails that I had for you, we have another dungeon to clear. This one however is even more special…"
