Henan Zhong: Three Wooers, The Bride Is Not Ready Yet

Chapter 96 - Spy Of The Second Prince

"Only three days are left, miss Diu if you wanted to buy anything you should visit market early either it will be crowded at the last day and it would be inconvenience," Fan Mei remembered that if she needed something she should buy early.

"Let me sleep,"

"Wait, what? Only three days are left?"

She was slacking but as soon as she heard that only three were left in the Event, she opened her eyes wide.

It made Fan Mei horrified.

"Miss Diu, are you alright?"

"Fan Mei there are lots of things unfinished,"

'But I am not going to tell what those things are,' she spoke in her head.

She did not go to give few things to Wan Hu yet.

"Send here Jei Lan and you go prepare breakfast, after breakfast we are heading toward market," the maid nodded and went out of the room.

She opened the locked cabin and there was the sharp and long sword.

She caressed its metallic surface with her hand.

She was ready to use it.

Her wound was heald up well.

She was paying close attention in her surrounding, there was someone who was after her.

If she found him, she would kill.

"I hope Wan Hu is ready for long journey,"

Jei Lan entered in the room.

Fan Mei would take half an hour in preparing breakfast.

"Jei you have to deliever few orders to Lue Zhen," she at the behind that door was closed.

Still she thought that it was not safe to talk here.

What if the maid was listening to both?

It was not necessary that it could be her maid, it could be anyone.

She kept back the sword in the cabin.

"Go and find Wei Lan, say her that she should make some excuse and accompany with us in the market,"

Jei Lan nodded and went out.

Wei Lan was preparing to go and give a painting lesson to the Prince which in her eyes was just a fake learning for him.

He just wanted to stay around some woman.

"Mean and pervert,"

"Wei, where are you?" Jei came rushing.

"I am here Jei," she voiced her.

"Come sit here, miss Henan said that you have to accompany us in the market," she related as it is.

"Why, did she tell why it was necessary, they might suspect," she could not understand the reason.

"I know nothing, she said that you have to create some excuse to make it look natural or logistical," she waved her hand.

Jei went back.

Wei started scratching her head.

"What I am supposed to excuse?" She stood up to go.

She was walking absentmindedly.

A maid crossed her path and the food filled tray splattered on her.

She looked at the maid who have spoiled her dress.

She was apologetic.

She waved her hand and went away.

She turned back to change her dress.

Why I am going back? I don't have another better dress to wear.

The day they were brought and captured, they were facing endless humiliation and sufferings.

Her elder sister and big brother were living like slaves.

They were treated like some insects.

She was wearing the clothes of previous maids.

This dress was given by prince that when she go to teach him painting or drawing she should wear this dress either the fine looking Prince might get unhappy.

Now the dress was this goner, how she should go?

Her eyes sparkled, 'I should go as it is," a broad smile appeared on her face because she has some excuse too.

She cleaned the dripping food and walked toward his art gallery.

She knocked the door but did not go in.

He has given permission but no one entered in.

She pushed the door open for him to see her dress.

"I apology my Prince but when I was coming here a maid spoiled my dress and I cannot enter in the art gallery, I fear that the nicely done art gallery might get spoiled,"

He looked at her dress and it was really not looking nice.

"Why you don't you go and change your dress?" He spoke with neutral expressions.

"I should have gone and changed my dress my Prince but I don't have one other like this one or better," she lowered her head.

"May be I should and clean this one, since the sun these days is not much shiny, it would take a whole day to get dry, so I might not be able to see your drawing practice," another bait.

[What will he say? He is not looking angry? Would he say get lost or something like that? Can he afford the price of another dress? Let me think, come on Wei, he is Crown Prince he can buy you a whole state, and you are talking about a dress, no but it depends whether he would or would not?]

"Let's bet, if he buy me a dress I would not call him crocodile in my head anymore, and if he did not I will yell him goner again and again in my head to satisfy my hate]

"Whoever he married would live a sadistic life and if she ever tried to be happy she would look at his wooden face and chaos would fell on her head and she will swear never to be happy again]

"I am talking to you are you not answering?" He almost shouted at her.

It was third time that he called her and spoke to get a dress for herself already.

"Yes, my Prince did you say something?" Now she was goner may be.

"I said get out and buy yourself a dress," he threw a gold coins pouch at her face.

"Oh, my Prince can I go with my sister who is accompanying some noble guest in the market?"

"I said get lost," he shut the door of his study.

"This girl is headache," he shook his head.

Wei Lan staggered but hopefully was able to catch the attacking gold coins.

She heaved a sigh.

She returned back.

"Wei Lan you were born genius," she patted on her shoulder.

"Come fast we are heading to the market," after some time Jei Lan came rushing to bring her along.

"Tell her to handle Fan Mei most of the time," Henan has told her.

Soon they were on the way to the market.

Henan was looking some nice wooden shoes with strips to carry.

She also wanted to buy two male dress for Wan Hu and Lue Zhen, if they escape in their present attire they might get noticed too early.

She intend to work on their appearance too.

With disguise they will be safe for long time at least this was what she had in her mind.

Since they were going to cross from the Belle Forest they don't need to bundle food.

Forest can provide food anyone without discrimination.

This was the great thing about forest.

Both sisters need to wear double dress just in case they felt cold in the damp Belle Forest in this season.

She has her dagger so she could give the sword to Wan Hu or just opposite, it depends on situation.

She bought some good shoes two pairs for herself and for Jei.

Wei has money to buy for herself.

Now they were on jewelry shop.

"Miss Diu, this hairpin will suit you and will match with the dress," Fan Mei had seen her elegant dress so pointed the hairpin as soon as her eyes fell on it.

"Sure, shopkeeper please pack two pairs one for me and one for my maid," she thought to give as a present to her.

"Fan Mei here take it," she handed the hairpin she bought for Fan Mei.

"But I can't take it miss Diu," she was surprised at this generous miss.

"You should take it for your daughter, I believe she will be happy to wear it," she insisted.

There was no way than to accept.

"Oh, yes I have another present for your daughter," she took out the earrings she just bought from previous shop.

Henan was less interested to wear excessive jewelry.

She could buy jewelry to both sisters once they reach Shang kingdom safe and sound.

The maid was immensely happy.

Jei Lan tugged the maid and said, "Your miss is generous, come we should let her buy some private things, and help me select a dress in minimum prince," she took her away from Henan.

She saw a men clothing shop.

"How may I help this miss,?" The shopkeeper asked politely.

"Give me two male dresses and little bigger one," her veiled face was not easy to be recognized.

So even if the shopkeeper wanted to remember her appearance he might not.

The man who was sent to keep eyes on her was here too.

Now his suspicion was little proved.

This girl was really someone else.

He just needed to go back and report the second Prince.

The time Henan felt that someone was keeping eye on her she was trying to look out the one who was lurking around.

And now her eyes fell on him.

He was standing on the opposite shop for not buying anything and looking here and there for no reason.

She came out the shop and handing the shopping bags to her maid.

She was not here empty handed.

She brought her dagger along.

She did not need to buy anymore.

Only a sharp dagger for Lue Zhen.

It would have been great if she could buy a sword.

"Does it suits on my skin?" Wei selected a dress but she was not sure whether she should waste money on it.

"That other one will definitely look good," Fan Mei pointed at the other.

"Its color will suits your young age," the dress was niceb and low budget.

She paid money and exited the shop.

"If you wanted to buy a dress for your daughter, I can buy you because I have some saved money and I don't want to buy anything else,"

Her eyes lit up.

"Don't worry you don't have to pay me back, you see I am young and can earn money for more years by working in the Palace," she assured that she would not ask back her money.

Fan Mei hurriedly went back in the shop and asked for the dress which she was eyeing from the first glance. Wei had seen her glancing at that dress.

Both came back happily.

Now it was time to head back.

Henan sent Fan Mei and Wei Lan to reach the carriage first.

She stopped Jei at a shop and turned at the back of market in a hurry.

The man who was keeping eye hurriedly followed her.

He looked ahead she seemed to disappear.

She was hanging on his head.

The time he looked up was the time he dagger moved sharp.

The back area of the market was bushy one.

She came out as if nothing have happened.

She beckoned Jei to walk hurry.

They got on carriage and reached the Palace before sun set.
