"You better shut your mouth, a mere maid daring this much,?" Dura admonished strictly. Wei Lan stepped back.

"What are you trying to point at?" Prince turned and faced Wei Lan.

"Its nothing, I dare not to say anything in this matter," she was at the peak of her courage when she interrupted, she took another step back. "And if you dare to take another step back, I will personally take care of you," he mocked harshly this coward girl.

Henan was looking at the situation but she decided to not interrupt the pace. "I saw this woman, she gave the medicine to the personal maid of Yin Ya, I was able to see this because my Prince has punished me to stay in the courtyard of Fourth Court for the entire night as punishment," she kept her head lowered.

This was not a mere excuse but a truth, Prince remembered that it was true, he punished her this way yesternight.

Dura was getting paler with this revelation. She no more can blame young girls. If she kept arguing, her punishment will get severe.

She thought to tell the truth to save her own life. Someone was keeping his eyes on her changing mood.

His intuition was right.

This woman would reveal everything to save her life, that was why he was keeping eyes on them.

He was also keeping eyes to not get noticed by any guard.

He prepared his arrow in the bow to shot right at the heart before she could reveal anything. It was a matter of few breaths, it only needed sharp agility.

The moment, Prince questioned Dura, was the moment when an arrow shot right in her heart.

There was the next arrow on the way.

This time Prince would be hit. Henan herself was an agile arrow master. She can feel the jazz of the next arrow.

'Why it has to be again her but she had no choice, your ancestors,' she quickly reacted. She blocked the path of the arrow by jumping in between both, Prince and arrow, of course.

"Aww," she hissed with pain.

His guards came in action. Alas, late.

The arrow pierced throw the fragile shoulder of the girl, while she was able to push away Prince a little, after all, he was giant body, Crown Prince, if compared to her fragile body.

Prince hurried to hold her before she fell.

He understood what was going around in his surroundings.

He ordered his most evil guards to find and chop the head off of the culprit.

These guards could smell the scent of the culprit, it was said.

She could have saved herself too if she could have moved the wooden Prince in the quarter breath or so, but she took a whole half breath to do so, sigh.

The pain was unbearably sharp.

"Diu, look at me, stay awake," he was almost running while shouting at his personal servants.

She was swaying in his arms, he brought her in his room.

The physicians were reaching soon.

He did not shift his eyes from her present condition even for a breath. Henan wanted to laugh but she was feeling immense pain.

'Did the Crown Prince act such childish usually? If I kept continuing to see your expressions I might think that I am going to die soon, well, this is what your expressions say,' she slowly closed her eyes just to think about Wan Hu.

'Wan Hu let me finish with this and I'll reach you soon,' she went unconscious.

Why no choice? If a Crown Prince got hit by an arrow even if he doesn't die, there would be chaos in the kingdom and if an unknown country girl got injured that was a matter of less important, moreover if that happened there would be strict and hard security that she should have forgotten about searching Wan Hu silently.

She could die in that process then. Much less to find Wan Hu. Physicians came, he only allowed the old physician to touch her shoulder and apply the best ointment and herbs.

He also suggested some herbs which would be given orally and it would help her heal fast.

Prince himself takes note of the precautions. Wei Lan though much scared but she dared not to come and ask about her health.

"She is a brave little girl but it is necessary for her to awake early and consume the required herbs either it would be dangerous," he instructed strictly.

Her maid was also there, she was more concerned.

Prince dismissed the extra crowd of servants and maids, her maid also stood out of the room.

Henan was laying unconscious. Her face was white like a sheet.

He sat on the chair.

This was the second time that this unknown girl stakes her life to save him. She was brave and innocent.

He was such unkind to her, though he ordered her to stay in the Palace for a month and celebrate with them the Event of Winter, yet he was ignorant that being a country girl she was being bullied in the Palace, how ungrateful he was? He shook his head.

Three hours were passed, he ordered to bring the documents of his concern and he started working on them while waiting for her to come conscious.

After three hours, she moved a little and was mumbling something very vaguely, Wan'er.

Prince took aside the documents and voiced the maid. Maid came. He ordered her to prepare oral medicine.

He put his hand on her forehead, "Diu, it's me, how do you feel,?" he was worried that she might fell unconscious again.

Henan opened her eyes. "Mm, water, my throat hurts," He gestured and the maid brought water.

He supported her and helped her drink water.

"Just little bit more effort and take this medicine," he coaxed her very mildly, the maid was stunned, she always heard that Crown Prince was very cruel, unkind and he never spoke politely to anyone other than his mother and father.
