The current day…

One month has advanced, since I had initiated writing this book. The wedding day is coming closer and the nervousness was escalating every day. Most of the things were on the verge of getting concluded. Regardless of everything, I was skeptical about this marriage. Mom and dad were really delighted at my decision. They really adored my fiancé and all the arrangements were being processed for a big fat Indian wedding. Every day I had second thoughts about tying the knot. Was I doing the right thing? My life had been a typical roller coaster, with plenty of ups and downs. Finally this marriage was supposed to yield some stability in my life. But, I was still terror-stricken of the past. What happened with me before might befall again. This conviction tormented me, every single day.
