Help! I'm In Love With A Liar
Chapter 22:Moving Out Of The Hostel
Four months had elapsed, since that incident. A lot had changed in my life. After completing my second year of graduation, I shifted to a house, as a paying guest, for the final year. I had to leave the hostel, as I could no longer tolerate the everyday naggings and gossips. I had to move on in my life and for that I needed a reform in my environment. One good thing, about heart break was that I scored exceedingly well, in my second year exams.
I befriended many of my housemates and had started to prepare for my law entrance. Everything had changed but every now and then, I still missed Wang and our endless talks. Living in this house, I felt like a bird who had recently obtained freedom after long captivity. I could, go anywhere I wanted to and just had to return before 9 pm. The land lady of the house was a woman in her early thirties and was extremely benevolent. It was a five minutes' walk from the house to our college and we strolled in huge groups, chit chatting and having fun. I had spent only one month in the house and I had already started to enjoy it.
I was given a room on the ground floor which was originally a garage. The room was considerably large and I had one roommate Samantha, residing with me. All the other rooms were on the first and second floor and I had to shift to the first floor three months later, after a girl was vacating the house.
So, one morning we all were treading towards the college and suddenly a wine colored car halted in front us, obstructing our way. I identified the car instantly.
Wang got off the car and waved at me. I was meeting him after good long four months. I had to admit; regardless of all the mess he created, I still loved him. I didn't know how to react at that juncture. Was I happy or sad? I had no idea!
"Hi Cecilia," he said, pleasantly.
"Hi," I replied meekly.
All my friends were staring at us. Some were even smiling at me notoriously.
"I was just passing by and spotted you with your friends. So, I just stopped by to say sorry for everything. You have gone through a lot because of me and I did not even get a chance to say sorry to you. I think you are no longer using your previous number," he said
"It's ok. All that is history and I don't even think about it now," I bluffed.
"Ok," he whispered.
Wang hesitated for a moment. I noticed his eyes were getting wet.
