Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 30: Dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast (Part 1)

The Quidditch match was scheduled for November, the weather was changing from warm to cold, and the surrounding mountains were gray. The night before yesterday, it snowed heavily, and the whole school was covered with a thick layer of cotton-padded clothes.

Today is Friday, Saturday's Quidditch match. Looking out from the dormitory window, Hagrid is cleaning the snow on the Quidditch pitch with his coat on. Not far away, many students are building snowmen and having snowball fights in front of the school gate.

Why not inside the school, because the snow inside the school was cleared away by Hagrid early in the morning.

After taking Snape's Potions class in the morning, Gryffindor students had no classes in the afternoon, and many of them went out to play in the snow.

Harry and Ron went downstairs to join in the fun. Harry did not participate in Quidditch and did not know how Professor Quirrell harmed him.

So how do they have reason to suspect that Snape is someone who wants to steal the Sorcerer's Stone, and how do they know that the thing is the Sorcerer's Stone?

Because I changed something, everything may change later.

Dumbledore should have made arrangements. Dumbledore would only appear in the restaurant occasionally during dinner, and not at other times. I don't know what else he was busy arranging.

Professor Quirrell's question, does he know it or not? If he knows it, he has already made overall arrangements. If you don’t know, then it’s not easy for me to remind you.

Is it possible to run to the principal's office: Principal, that thing on the back of Professor Quirrell's head seems to be very familiar to you.

Although this method is simple, direct and crude, it is not good for me. How did I know?

Just as he was thinking about it, Quirrell appeared in Carney's sight. Quirrell approached Harry and started chatting with him. Carney thought Quirrell had made some move, but Quirrell left immediately.

It was Snape. He walked out from the side and followed Professor Quirrell. Snape has been secretly watching Harry. Carney is almost certain that Snape is Harry's protector in school. He doesn't know if it was arranged by Dumbledore or of his own free will.

Professor Quirrell rarely spoke to Harry, except for a few exchanges in class so far. Quirrell is a little unusual today.

"Harry, what did Professor Quirrell tell you just now?" Carney rushed downstairs from the dormitory and pulled Harry out of the snow fight.

"He said he thought I needed to learn some self-defense spells, which would be useful and he could teach me. But I haven't thought about it yet. What's wrong?" Harry was a little confused. "I said I don't know how to do it at school." If there is any danger, why study this? "

"Oh, let's just forget it! Professor Quirrell himself is timid. The purple scarf on his head is said to be given to him by others to prevent vampires. He has encountered them before." Ron suffered a few blows. Fa Xueqiu was defeated and interrupted, "I'm scared to death now. I've never seen him take it off. It's better to learn from him than to cultivate immortality with Carney!"

"Ron, you have figured it out! You are planning to become an immortal!" Carney's eyes were shining. He has no reference at all for his current cultivation of immortality, and there is no trace to be found. If you have someone to practice together and refer to each other, many things can be solved.

"You've been practicing that thing for more than half a semester, but you haven't seen much results!" Ron rolled his eyes, "Even though I don't sleep every day, I'm still so energetic."

"It's not that easy..." The energy in Carney's body is no more than the size of a punch. The impurities in his body have been expelled seven or eight times, but they are still there. Carni was wondering whether he should go on a hunger strike for a few days, which is called Bigu in cultivating immortals.

Sure enough, the food at Hogwarts is too bad, or does it need some kind of treasure to improve? This is too slow. First, he has no skills, and second, he has no martial arts. He is just a reckless man now.

In addition to using Qi on the body, one punch can knock down a cow, but it can knock down a sheep.

Now, Kani can only use this Qi like a dark force, hitting internal injuries or beating a cow from across the mountain.

Don't ask Kani how he knew, because there was one missing from Hagrid's hunting ground, giving them extra food. Carney planned to use his Qi for a blow last month, but there was nothing for him to do. When he went to Hagrid's place for afternoon tea, he discovered that there was a herd of goats down the slope on the other side of the school.

They often come to the Black Lake to drink water. From the high tower of the school, I thought they were horses.

There are no cows, but sheep can be used. At first, I thought that even if a child punches with dark strength, it won't be too hard. After all, he is only eleven years old now. How can he go against the will of heaven? Can a living Pleasant Goat be beaten to pieces by you?

But he was wrong.

He approached a sheep, let's call it X Sheep. The Pleasant Goat didn't take Carney seriously yet, mainly because he opened the ghost knife and the Pleasant Goat couldn't see it. The ghost sword here is a magic spell. I rummaged through the library to find some useful spells. Its function is to make it invisible. You cannot make a sound or emit magic, otherwise the power will be broken.

The Illusion Body Curse doesn't sound good, but the Ghost Sword sounds good.

Without saying much, Carney channeled the energy in his body into his right fist and punched it. They all say that one-third of the force leaves seven-tenths of the force, but it feels like three-tenths of the energy in the fist is missing. The X-Yangyang just trembled, and Carney also emerged from the invisibility.

Ouch, this X Yangyang is so strong, it just shook a little, Carney thought.

But all the sheep around jumped up and ran back. Carney thought they were frightened by his sudden appearance.

As a result, the X sheep fell to the ground with a snap. The other sheep must have felt that the X sheep's anger disappeared. Animals are very sensitive to life and death.

Carney was about to check to see if he was fainted or something, when he heard Hagrid's voice.

He had no choice but to activate the Ghost Sword and return to school. That night, he heard Hagrid reacting to the professor.

He also specifically told Harry not to leave the school and walk around recently. Some monsters appeared around the school. His goat was attacked. There was no external injury or trace of magic attack.

Then the X sheep was roasted by Hagrid…………

Later, Hagrid checked the mountains and forests around the school every day. He found nothing for a month, and finally let it go.

"Harry! Get out of the way!" someone shouted not far away.

Carney reacted quickly, and regardless of what it was, he pushed Harry hard and rolled to the other side with the help of the interaction.

The next moment, a cold current hit the snow under their feet, and the snow turned into ice within a few breaths.

"It's a dog-headed harpy and a blue-tailed beast!" someone shouted.

O_oHuh?

Dog head? Harpy? Blue-tailed beast? Is there really anything wrong with this name? Is there such a magical animal in this world?

Carney took out his wand and arched his body, looking up in the direction of the attack. A big eagle flew in the sky, with a snow-white head, a gray body, and a blue tail, hovering above their heads.

The dog-headed harpy, blue-tailed beast's eyes were fixed on Harry. Harry was stunned, and Harry also stared blankly into the eyes of the dog-headed harpy, blue-tailed beast.

"Hurry into the school gate!"

The students who were having a snowball fight and making snowballs outside ran into the school gate. The school has a banishing spell. It is not a Muggle banishing spell. It is a spell for magical animals and mountain monsters, and there is also a enchantment.

"Harry!" Carney woke him up, but Carney didn't see anything different in those eyes.

"Hiss!" Harry came back to his senses and covered the right side of his forehead, which was the lightning scar.

Harry held his forehead in pain. He couldn't hear any sounds from outside, and all he could think of was the dull eyes of the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast.

"Collapsed!" The dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast saw Harry's vulnerability, turned around and dived straight towards Harry at high speed.

Carney saw the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast swooping down, but before he could pull him away, the magic of luck cast a stun spell.

The dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast sided to avoid the Stunning Curse, spun around, adjusted its position, and continued flying towards Harry.

The dog's head opened its mouth wide, revealing two rows of yellow teeth, and a strong and visible wind blew out.

"Clear water like a spring!" A wall of water stood up, blocking the front. "Ron, take Harry in quickly!"

The strong wind blew against the wall of water, which quickly solidified, froze, and finally turned into a wall of ice. The dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast flew over and struck the ice wall with a claw. The ice wall was easily broken open, and Carney rolled forward and dodged.

The strong wind had an average impact, but it contained ice-attribute magic power, which directly froze the water and escaped Carney's control.

The claws of the dog-headed, harpy-body, and blue-tailed beast were about one to two hundred kilograms in strength, and the tips of the claws were also sharp. If not all of the claws were hit, it would still be alive.

Ron went from being confused at first to being surprised and then horrified. Carney couldn't stand it anymore and immediately pulled the Harry statue and ran away.

When the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast saw Harry escaping, it no longer cared about Carney. It flapped its wings and flew quickly towards Harry.

"Everyone is petrified!" After Carney rolled, he stood up instantly and fired a petrifying spell towards the front of the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast.

The dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast didn't dodge, and the petrification spell hit it, but the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast didn't stop at all. It was galloping forward, and just as the dog-head was about to fly towards Harry, its big mouth It was already open and aimed at Harry's neck.

Although Ron pulled Harry to run, it was still too late to enter the school gate. The snow on the ground affected his speed.

When the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast was about to get close to Harry, Carney was too late to add another spell, and only heard a "pop". Then the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast suddenly changed its whole body and turned into a rabbit and hit Harry's back. Harry was knocked backwards and fell directly onto the snow, taking Ron with him.

"Hurry into the school gate!"

It was Professor McGonagall who arrived in disguise and used the transformation technique at the critical moment to turn the dog-headed harpy and blue-tailed beast into a rabbit. It was really dangerous.

Ron and Harry ran away from the rabbit quickly. When Professor McGonagall arrived, Harry's headache was gone.

Professor McGonagall controlled the rabbit with a levitating spell and examined it carefully. Her face turned very ugly and she looked around.

"Why don't you go in yet! Come on, it's not safe outside now." Professor McGonagall noticed that Carney was still there and sternly drove him back to the school.
