Harry Potter: Glory of the King

Chapter 71: Three-headed dog

"He was late, maybe he didn't dare to come because he was afraid." Ron whispered.

At this moment, a voice came from the next room, which made them jump up.

"Smell it everywhere, my dear, where they might be hiding." It was Filch who was talking to Mrs. Loris.

Harry was frightened and waved his wand frantically at the other two, telling them to follow him as soon as possible-they walked silently to the door away from Filch's voice. As soon as Neville's robes passed the corner, they heard Filch walking into the prize showroom.

"They are somewhere here," they heard him muttering, "probably hid."

"Go here!" Harry said silently to the other two. They were both frightened and walking quietly along a corridor full of armor. Filch could be heard getting closer and closer to them. Suddenly, Neville almost tripped, couldn't help letting out a terrifying scream, and ran away. He grabbed Ron's waist, and the two fell together on a set of armor.

Suddenly, croaking, crashing, the sound was enough to wake up the entire castle.

"Run!" Harry yelled, refusing to hide, and the three of them ran down the corridor at full speed, not daring to look back to see if Filch followed.

Ona glanced helplessly at the armor, then followed. Filch followed the sound, but he only saw armor scattered on the ground.

"Catch up!" Filch directed Mrs. Loris angrily, and his cat ran away quickly.

Harry panicked and ran forward, rounding the goalposts, running corridor after corridor, and finally stopped near the curse classroom.

"I think we have thrown him off." Harry gasped. He leaned against the cold wall, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Neville leaned forward, gasping for breath, and couldn't even speak his words.

"We must return to the Gryffindor Tower," Ron said. "The sooner the better."

"Malfoy this liar!" Harry finally believed what Ona had said before. "Filch knew we were going to the prize showroom. Malfoy must have revealed the news to him!"

"Let's go," Neville said weakly.

However, things were not that simple. They had just walked ten steps before they heard the **** of a door rattle and something came out of a classroom in front of them.

It's Pippi. When he saw them, he screamed happily.

"Shut up, Pippi--please--you'll have to get fired," Ron said.

Pippi giggled.

"The nasty first-year kid head, wandering around in the middle of the night. Tsk, tusk, tusk, naughty, naughty, you will be caught."

"No, as long as you don't betray us, Pippi, please," Harry said.

"You should tell Filch, you should." Pepigui said solemnly, but there was a mischievous light in his eyes. "This is for your good, you know?"

"Get out of the way." Ron got angry and gave Pippy a hard hit.

"Students don't sleep!" Although Pippi was not beaten, he was still very annoyed. "Students don't sleep, they are in the hallway where the spell class is going!"

The three of Harry ducked past Pepy Ghost, fleeing desperately until they reached the end of the corridor, and slammed into a door-the door was locked.

"It's over!" Ron whimpered, and he and Neville pushed the door in despair. "We're done! Death is coming!"

They heard footsteps, and Filch was coming as quickly as possible following Pepy Ghost's voice.

"Alaho Cave is open!" Hari rate reacted first, knocking on the door lock with the wand in his hand. The lock clicked and the door suddenly opened-they swarmed in and hurriedly closed the door. Ona hurriedly followed and was almost touched by the door.

The three boys pressed their ears to the door nervously and listened.

"Where did they go, Pepy Ghost?" Just listen to Filch. "Hurry up and tell me."

"Say ‘please’." Pippi didn’t give Filch a good face.

"Don't mess with me, Pippi, just say, where did they go?"

"If you don't say please, I don't know anything." Pippi said in his annoying humming tone.

"Okay—please tell me."

"I don't know anything! Haha! I told you, if you don't say please, I don't know anything! Haha! Hahahaha!" Pippi's voice seemed to leave, and Filch cursed angrily. , And gradually left.

"He thought the door was locked," Harry whispered. "I don't think we'll be okay-let's go, Neville!" Neville kept pulling the sleeve of Harry's dressing gown. "What's the matter? ?"

As soon as Harry turned around-saw it, saw it clearly-they were in a corridor, the forbidden corridor on the fourth floor. Now they know why entry is prohibited here.

They were facing the eyes of a monster-like dog that was so big that it filled all the space from the ceiling to the floor. It has three heads, three pairs of fierce eyes turning steadily, three noses-twitching and trembling in their direction, and three mouths with saliva, which resemble sticky ropes, from a yellowish one. The dog's teeth hung down.

It stood there motionless, all six eyes fixed on them. Ona guessed that the reason it hasn’t acted is that on the one hand, someone came in suddenly and it was still judging the other’s intentions. On the other hand, the strength of Harry and others didn’t make it feel threatened—fortunately they had it in the past two days. Going to Hagrid, there might still be Hagrid's breath on the clothes, but now it has begun to let out a deafening roar.

Harry fumbled to twist the doorknob, then opened the door, and the three boys walked out, then closed the door with a "bang", and the sound of rushing footsteps faded away.

As soon as Harry and the others closed the door, the dog rushed over, but suddenly a figure appeared in front of it-it was Ona who made the shot. "There are so many obstacles!"

However, although his spell slowed the opponent's pounce, it was only for a brief moment. Ona squinted his eyes, punched out a punch, and a white fist imprint hit the body of the three-headed dog, causing it to suspend its action again. Taking this opportunity, Ona retreated to the door calmly, twisted the doorknob to leave, and then locked the door with magic, closing the three-headed dog's angry roar inside the door.

He looked around, chasing in the direction of Harry and the others. Due to her height and long legs, and long-term martial arts training, Ona quickly caught up with the three people who were running out of life in front of them-they never dared to turn their heads, so they did not realize that Ona was not invisible. While running, Ona seemed to hear the sound of Filch coming, and the staff made one move. This time, the prophet Haze was used. The four figures were hidden, and the speed increased by three points, just tired of running. The three of you didn't notice this.

The four ran back to the eighth floor in one breath, Ona took the initiative to cancel the skill, so that Harry and the others showed their figure before running to the portrait of the fat lady.

"Where have you all been?" asked the fat lady, seeing their dressing gowns drooping from their shoulders, and their sweaty flushed faces.
