Harry Potter: Dark Alchemy

Chapter 266 Harry consciously escapes from prison

Harry could see that Uncle Vernon's attitude towards Wright was different from all the attitudes he had expected before. In fact, he could not recognize the polite and elegant Wright in a suit.

He also had no idea how Wright could make the originally frightened Dursley family smile in just three minutes.

Dudley was asking Wright about the magical candies sold in the wizard's candy store, and you could tell by the longing look on his face what he was thinking about; Uncle Vernon and Wright talked about the current international situation and the isolation of overseas people. Where should Great Britain go? Aunt Petunia smiled and went to make tea for a few people, using the Chinese tea that Wright had just brought. She was so fascinated by the words "for princes and nobles only" that she couldn't find it.

Although he was a little unaccustomed to simply drinking tea with water, if he remembered correctly, this was the first time that Harry had enjoyed such a comfortable afternoon tea at the Dursleys' house.

Originally, Harry thought that he would not be able to see his good friends at Hogwarts until at least the end of the summer vacation. Because of Ron's phone call a few days ago, he almost got imprisoned by Uncle Vernon again. Hedwig was given a brief night's rest, but she had to return to her cage at first light because Uncle Vernon didn't want anyone to see the family being associated with owls.

Harry cherished this hard-won opportunity and sipped the tea on the edge of the cup bit by bit, trying to prolong this wonderful rest time as much as possible.

Seeing the Dursleys talking harmoniously with Wright, the thought "Maybe the Dursleys are actually pretty good" flashed through Harry's mind.

"Madam, sir, that's it." Wright gently put down the white porcelain teacup in his hand. The base of the teacup made no sound when it came into contact with the porcelain saucer. He looked at the Dursleys sincerely, "I came here to have a purpose. I’d like to ask your opinion on something.”

Penny was elated when Wright called her madam. It was the first time she heard such thoughtful words from such a handsome young man. She passed her husband and said directly: "No problem, Wright, just say it."

Vernon glanced at Petunia and calmly put down the tea that he felt was bland: "Yeah, I won't refuse anyone who can help me. I still have some relationship with the police officers in this community. ”

Harry suppressed a smile and lowered his head. Did Uncle Vernon think that the Muggle police could help with Wright's matter?

"It doesn't take much, I just need your opinions." Wright smiled lightly, "That's it, you both know that Harry and I are from the same school."

Petunia suppressed her smile, put down the cup, and touched her arm unnaturally; Dudley also closed his mouth and stopped asking about other candies he had never eaten.

"Yes." Vernon glared at Harry fiercely. He couldn't figure out why there was such a big difference between students trained in the same school. Look at the meticulous and polite Wright Pass, and then look at this guy with no hair. Harry Potter who can't even get it right!

Harry felt a little baffled. He could feel Uncle Vernon's eyes looking at his hair, but could the hair problem be solved if he wanted to?

Either he would have messy semi-long hair, or he would have smooth waist-length hair. Harry said he was also desperate!

"After the end of this semester, the school teacher assigned the task to the senior students to supervise the academic completion of some junior students." Wright continued, "Because I was previously responsible for Harry's enrollment, so He was also assigned to me."

Harry's eyes widened in shock and he stared blankly at Wright. Is there such a thing? How come he doesn't know at all?

"Yes, yes." Vernon couldn't help but nodded, and he glanced at Harry contemptuously, "Some bad students need good students to help them study, otherwise when they just graduate from school, they will I probably don’t even know what I’ve learned.”

Harry lowered his head again and clenched his fists secretly. The Dursleys never allowed magic items to appear in their sight. All his homework, books, wands, and even blank parchments were locked away. In the little cubicle under the stairs. If that's the case, why should he be a good student? A good student who can't finish his homework?

Wright pretended not to notice the silent exchange between his uncle and nephew, "Just as you know, students are not allowed to use those magical abilities when outside of school, but some homework must require its help."

Although Wright deliberately did not use the word "magic", Vernon couldn't help but shudder, and so did Petunia. Dudley thought of the green-skinned monster with a small body and protruding eyes from last year, as well as the floating cake, and coughed a little uncomfortably.

"Yeah, I know, last year this kid received a serious warning letter just because he used one of those," Vernon muttered.

"I didn't use magic! That was Dobby!" Harry wanted to shout loudly, but Wright stopped him with his eyes in time.

"So, I want to invite Harry to stay at my place for a few days." Wright said his plan.

"What?" Vernon said in surprise.

"What?" Harry asked in surprise.

"That's right." Wright gave them an affirmative reply.

The uncle and nephew looked at each other and said in unison: "That's great!"

Harry naturally didn't like living on Privet Drive. It contained almost everyone and everything he didn't like.

And Vernon didn't want to see this annoying child living in his own home. Allowing Harry to stay at the Wright's house for a few days would help him get rid of Harry more than two months earlier than originally hoped. This was what Vernon had always wanted. What you want: A chance to avoid Harry during the summer and get a real Dursley family reunion.

Vernon thought it would be a good idea to bring Maggie from the country for a reunion, if possible.

"I mean, I don't think your invitation is bad." Vernon cleared his throat and touched his mustache somewhat reservedly, "How many days are you going to let him stay at your place, Paz?"

Harry looked at Wright with great expectation. Although he didn't know where Wright lived now, there was no doubt that as long as it was not on Privet Drive, Harry felt that he could live there until he went to school!

"It depends on Harry's study progress," Wright lied, "But you have to know that Harry's grades in school are not very good. I estimate that this time will not be too short, and I cannot guarantee whether he will be able to study during the summer vacation. Return to No. 4 Privet Drive before the end, but if possible, I will try my best to supervise his studies.”

"Yeah, yeah, I knew his grades wouldn't be that good!" Vernon snorted, "Then I'll trouble you more, Paz. If you can, I hope you can spend as much time as possible. It doesn't matter how polite he is."

Harry didn't care about Uncle Vernon's sarcasm, he was just happy that he had escaped from his prison.
