Harry Potter Blood Hunter

Four hundred and seventieth chapters without a trace

"Sirius, what are you dawdling about here!"

A familiar voice sounded behind him, and Sirius, who still looked like a big black dog, immediately turned around and looked towards the source of the voice.

The source of the sound is naturally Browder!

Browder, he was looking at Sirius and whining.

Now, the team sent by Hogwarts to search for Sirius is about to arrive here, and even the Whomping Willow can be seen from a distance, but Sirius still hasn't run away... What is this?

What are you dawdling about!

"Browder, you..."

Although Sirius was surprised to see Browder, he was not particularly happy or surprised, but thought that he was here to help him.

But after turning around, Sirius saw Browder's current state clearly, and his vigilance rose again.

Because this Browder is not Browder.

Or it could be said that the one who called Sirius just now was not the real Broder, but an upper-body figure made of black mist.

And Braud's image floated on the upper body figure.

The big black dog opened its mouth, and suddenly said, "Are... are you sure you are Braud?"

Browder in this state seems to be faked by anyone, right?

"Nonsense!" Browder on the surface of the black mist said angrily, "If it weren't for me, who would communicate with a dog, and if other people know that the dog is you, they will report it directly to the Auror."

Thinking about it, Sirius found this to be true, so he finally relaxed a bit.

But Browder quickly said, "Don't relax! Run quickly! The real me is looking for you with a few professors and the Hogwarts guards! The professor closest to here is your sworn enemy Professor Snape, you don't want to fall into his hands, do you?"

What kind of result would it be if the still guilty Sirius fell into Snape's hands?

Perhaps Snape, risking being thrown into Azkaban, would also kill this scum who betrayed Lili... and before he died, he would suffer a series of things that were no easier than a dementor's kiss torture.

Browder felt that Professor Snape could really do it.

And Sirius thought the same way... Snape must have been the most murderous person in Hogwarts for Sirius.

So, Sirius quickly became nervous again.

It's just that the Whomping Willow is really not that easy to pass.

There was no other way, Sirius could only quickly change back to human form, then took out the limp wand that Browder gave him, and turned a stone into a gray rabbit.

Then the dusty rabbit sprinted along the ground, without attracting the Whomping Willow's attention, until it reached the scar.

Then... the silly rabbit's head hit the tree scar directly, and his head was bloodied and turned back into a stone. And the whole Whomping Willow trembled as if it had been electrified, then stopped shaking the willow branches, and lazily returned to the appearance of an ordinary big tree.

Looking at this situation, Browder really wanted to complain... Well, something that can be solved so easily, what did he do so dillydally just now.

And at this time, Sirius also changed back into the form of the big black dog, and ran into a tree hole under the Whomping Willow without saying hello to Browder.

It leads directly to Hogsmeade's Shrieking Shack, where Lupine transformed every time the moon was full when Sirius was a student.

This runs really fast!

Browder shook his head with a smile, and then the figure floating above the black mist slowly disappeared. But the mist slowly solidified, and then turned into dozens of pitch-black bats flying around.

And not five minutes after the Whomping Willow was quiet, another figure came here.

The short black hair and eyes, and the bat-like cloak... All of them could explain that the person who came was the dean of Slytherin, the nemesis of Sirius, Severus Snape.

Snape knew that there was a secret passage under the Whomping Willow to the Shrieking Shack. Because he was deceived by James Potter when he was a student, Full Moon Night followed Lupine here, and was almost killed by the werewolf that Lupine turned into.

Snape is now suspecting that Sirius was able to enter Hogwarts with the help of his iron buddy... This idea started from the first time he knew that Dumbledore chose Lupine as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts class It was there when I was a professor.

Snape made up his mind, he must catch that damned Sirius!

Finding nothing special about Whomping Willow, Snape turned and left.

However, on the way back to Hogwarts Castle, they encountered a six-man guard led by Braud—the guards were divided into two groups to patrol.

It's just that the two sides didn't say hello and just passed by.

Browder looked at the back of Professor Snape leaving, his eyes flickered.

"What's the matter, President, did you find anything?" A member of the guard asked Browder.

"No!" Browder shook his head, "It's just that I think it's dangerous for each professor to patrol alone, and it doesn't seem so easy to deal with if they are attacked by surprise."

"Really?" the team member asked puzzledly, "The principals are all very strong, so that kind of thing shouldn't happen. After all, there is only one Sirius, and he doesn't have a magic wand yet!"

"That's not necessarily..."

...

In the auditorium, all the candles were immediately extinguished.

The only light now came from the silver ghosts, who wandered about talking gravely to the prefects.

The enchanted ceiling, like the sky outside, is full of stars.

Under the circumstances, and with the still whispering voices in the Great Hall, Harry felt as if he was sleeping in the open air with a breezy face.

Harry hadn't fallen asleep though.

Every hour a professor shows up in the auditorium to see if all is well.

Around three o'clock in the morning, when many of the students had finally fallen asleep, Professor Dumbledore entered.

Harry watched him look around for Percy, and Percy tiptoed among the sleeping bags, snitching on anyone who spoke.

Percy was not far from Harry, Ron and Hermione, and they quickly pretended to be asleep.

At this time, Dumbledore's footsteps were getting closer.

"Any sign of him, Professor?" whispered Percy.

He was the first to ask.

"No. How's it going here?" asked Headmaster Dumbledore.

"Everything is under control, sir," said Percy proudly.

Harry could hear a near simultaneous "che"... all in disdain for Percy.

But neither Dumbledore nor Percy seemed to hear.

"Okay. There's no need to ask them to change places now. I've found temporary guards for the portrait entrance to Gryffindor House. You can send everyone back tomorrow."

"And what about the Fat Lady, Headmaster?"

"Hiding in the map of Angel County on the third floor. Apparently she wouldn't let Blake in without asking for the password, so he did. She's still in a bad mood, but once she calms down, I'll call Phil Chi fix her."

Harry heard the hall door snap open again, and more footsteps.

"Headmaster?" It was Snape. Harry still lay still, listening intently.

"Checked the Whooping Willow, and he wasn't there. Filch checked the keep, and he wasn't there either."

"Where's the Astronomy Tower? Professor Trelawney's room? Where the owls roost?"

"I checked everything..."

"Very well, Severus, I didn't really think Black would linger."

"Do you have any idea how he got in here, Headmaster?" Snape asked.

Harry lifted his head a little so he could hear better with his other ear.

"Many, Severus, each as improbable as the one below."

Harry opened his eyes a little, and peeked over where they were standing. Dumbledore's back was turned to him, but he could see Percy's face, his full attention, and the profile of Snape, who seemed angry.

"You remember our conversation, Headmaster, just before - oh - term started?" said Snape, speaking with his lips barely parted, as if he didn't want Percy to be part of their conversation.

"Remember, Severus," said Dumbledore, with something resembling a warning in his voice.

"It seems that it is almost impossible. Black can't get into this school without internal help. I did express my concern. After you appointed..."

"I don't believe that anyone in this castle is going to help Black in," said Dumbledore, in a tone that made it clear that this was the end of the matter, so Snape didn't answer. "I must go to the Aurors," said Dumbledore. "As I said, we'll let them know when we've searched."

"Are they going to help, Headmaster?" said Snape. "I take it they mean to have the dementors back to help!"

If Dementors were needed, the Aurors would have reason to reinstate Scrimgeour.

"Oh, yes," said Dumbledore dryly, "but I'm afraid they will never be allowed to cross the threshold of the school as long as I am Headmaster."

Percy seemed slightly embarrassed. Dumbledore left the Great Hall, walking quickly and quietly.

New Nepe stood for a while, watching the headmaster leave with deep anger on his face. Then he left too.

Harry looked sideways at Ron and Hermione. Both eyes were open, looking at the ceiling with stars.

"What are these words talking about?" Ron's mouth shape expressed such a meaning.

Both Harry and Hermione shook their heads.

...

For the next few days, everyone in school talked about Sirius Black.

Mysteries about how he got into the castle grew: a Hufflepuff student named Hannah Abbott spent their next Potions class after hearing that Black could transform into a flowering bush. Lots of time to tell this to everyone who will listen to her.

The Fat Lady's vandalized portrait had been taken down from the wall, and in its place was a portrait of Sir Cadogan and his stout gray pony.

No one is very happy about it. Sir Cadogan spent half his time challenging people to duel with him. The rest of the time is spent pondering ridiculously complicated passwords, and he has to change the password twice a day.

"He's really crazy," Seamus said to Percy angrily. "Can't we switch?"

"No one else would have done the job," said Percy, shaking his head. "Frightened by what happened to the Fat Lady. Sir Cadogan was the only one who came forward."

It wasn't Sir Cadogan that Harry was worried about, however. Now he is closely monitored. The professors found all sorts of excuses to walk with him in the corridors, and Percy Weasley (his mother's order, Harry guessed) followed him around like an extremely pompous guard dog.

To top it all off, Professor McGonagall invited Harry into her office with a look on his face that made Harry think someone must be dead.

"There's no need to keep this from you, Potter," she said gravely. "I know this will come as a shock to you, but Black—"

"I know he's chasing me," Harry said wearily, and he was really tired. "I've known it for so long. Don't treat me like a child, okay?"

McGonagall seemed very surprised, and she stared at Harry for a moment before saying, "I see! Well, then, Potter, you understand why I don't think it's a good idea for you to practice Quidditch in the evening." Yes. On the field, with only your teammates around, you're very revealing, Potter—"

"We're going to have our first game on Saturday!" said Harry, furious. "I must train, Professor!"

Professor McGonagall watched him intently. Harry knew she was deeply concerned about the future of the Gryffindor team, after all she was the one who suggested Harry as Seeker in the first place.

He waited, holding his breath nervously.

"Hmm..." Professor McGonagall stood up, staring out the window at the Quidditch pitch, which was faintly visible in the rain. "Well... I'd love to see our team take home the trophy. But anyway, Potter... I'd be happier if a teacher was there. I'm asking Mrs. Hooch to oversee your training. "

Of course Harry agreed!
