Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 23 She is going to eat people

Harry looked confused. For the first time in his life, he felt the elusiveness of a girl.

"Okay, take good care of Hermione, I'm going back."

Hermione nodded sheepishly, and Johanna returned to the castle.

Harry and Hermione were left standing together, bewildered.

Hermione watched Harry sigh and then walked further outside the castle.

Harry followed confused: "Where are you going, Hermione?"

Hermione looked around casually: "I just want to stay away from Ron."

Harry followed and looked around: "But Ron must be with Kathleen now, they shouldn't be here..."

Then he saw Hermione's expression become very strange.

"sorry……"

Hermione smiled: "Thank you, Harry."

Harry was confused.

A few days later, after Potions class, Harry was called into a small classroom.

According to Rodo Bagman, as told by admirer Colin Creevey who called him over, they were going to take photos.

But when Harry entered the classroom, Ludo Bagman told him it was to check his wand.

Harry had absolutely no interest in knowing what happened in between.

Harry came a little faster than Luke, and the other three warriors had been waiting here for a while. Bloom stood in the corner with a gloomy face, and Fleur and Cedric stood together and talked happily.

As soon as he saw Harry, Ludo Bagman stood up. He had been sitting on the side of the classroom talking to a witch. She was a fat woman wearing a red robe, her nails were dyed bright red, and she was wearing glasses. It was covered in jewels and looked very weird and funny.

But to Ludo Bagman, she seemed like a remarkable person.

"This is Rita Skeeter, a reporter from the Daily Prophet. She is writing a report on the Triwizard Tournament for the Daily Prophet."

Rita Skeeter obviously didn't take Ludo Bagman seriously. As soon as she saw Harry, she walked over with a smile.

"Long time no see, Harry."

Harry didn't like this familiar fat woman very much.

Last year, for Sirius Black, he had accepted an interview with her under Lu Ke's arrangement. Harry felt at that time that this was a person who would do anything to make big news.

Of course, the news that finally appeared on the Daily Prophet was beyond Harry's expectations and was a fairly normal report, but Harry's intuition did not change.

But this time, without Lu Ke by his side, Harry felt that her true nature was about to show.

Harry was in a hurry and asked: "Why hasn't Lu Ke come yet?"

One thing he completely ignored was that it was impossible for Rita Skeeter not to know that Lu Ke was also one of the warriors.

Before Harry could say anything, Rita Skeeter pulled Harry into a small room at the side of the classroom.

The two of them were alone in a room. Rita Skeeter sat nonchalantly on top of an upside-down bucket. Harry sat on a small wooden box and watched the scene, feeling extremely sympathetic to the poor bucket.

Then Rita Skeeter took out her weapons, a candle and wand to provide light, a stack of parchment, and a quill that was unruly and free-flowing.

Just like the last time Harry saw her.

Of course Harry knew last time that something was causing her to go against her nature, but this time the power of that restriction was gone.

"What brings you to this competition?"

Harry shut his mouth.

He suddenly remembered the solution he had come up with before after being frightened.

The quill would twist any words and translate them into a horrifying and sensational description, but without words, Harry didn't believe it could come out of nowhere.

But it turned out that Harry had underestimated the quill.

Not only is it able to create something out of nothing, it is even more free to express itself because of Harry's silence. It is as natural as a fish in water and can inspire words.

Harry looked horrified.

Just when Harry fell into despair, the door to the small room suddenly opened.

Luke walked into the room and gave Rita Skeeter a meaningful look.

Star Skeeter had a flattering smile on her face, but the parchment and quill she had placed at hand disappeared.

"Lu Ke!"

Rita Skeeter's tone was filled with sickeningly sweet flattery.

Lu Ke just nodded: "Dumbledore called you, Harry, the wand inspection is about to begin."

Harry walked out of the room as if he had been pardoned.

Rita Skeeter quickly reached out to keep Lu Ke, but Lu Ke also turned around and walked out of the room.

Dumbledore nodded to Harry and reached out to his side.

"Let me introduce you to Mr. Ollivander. He wants to check your wands to make sure they are in good condition."

Ollivander then checked everyone's wands.

The core of Fleur's wand was a piece of enchantress hair. Harry was a little surprised and prepared to tell Ron.

Everyone else's wands are in good condition, but Lu Ke's wand doesn't look like this. Ollivander is a little regretful: "It only has one chance to show its power so far..."

Lu Ke just smiled.

Harry took a look and found that Bloom seemed to be the only one here who didn't know that Lu Ke was a squib.

Then Rita Skeeter suggested they take a photo together.

Ludo Bagman was very active in this matter. The Daily Prophet photographer who came with Rita Skeeter had a very difficult time coordinating everyone. Madame Maxime was too tall and it was difficult for Fleur or Harry to stand in the front. The decision was made, while Rita Skeeter was still gesticulating.

It wasn't until Luke gave one last casual grumble that Rita Skeeter stopped asking, and they finished the photo.

After that, Rita Skeeter left several warriors to take photos individually, but Lu Ke left long ago.

When Harry finally got away, it was already dinner time.

When he returned to the Great Hall, Hermione was still sitting alone at the Gryffindor table, and Ron had disappeared, no doubt with Katharine.

Harry walked over and sat next to Hermione.

"It's a pity that Ron is not here. He must not have thought that Fleur is really a hybrid of a enchantress..."

Hermione gave Harry a cold look: "It's amazing, isn't it?"

Harry was stunned for a moment, then apologized hastily.

But Hermione just turned her face away: "Actually, Kathleen is also a enchantress hybrid."

Harry nodded. He probably felt that the two witches were too similar, not just in appearance, but in the attraction they sometimes displayed.

But he didn't understand what this had to do with Hermione being angry.

Then Harry had a quick wit and used Rita Skeeter to change the subject: "I'm worried about that reporter."
