Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetheart

Her heart was wondering about what happened to him today, well to be exactly, what happened to him recently. She caught him having his daydreaming almost every single time but each time he just smiled at her with that wink in his eyes.

She sighed again. Yes, she should be happy because they were in the same group again but… she wanted more.

She knew to other people, their relationship was the weirdest ever. They were not lovers although she hoped that it was. They were closed but it was more like friends with benefit. Well, who should she lie to? They were friends with benefit.

She gave herself to him on Valentine's Day last year, almost a year it already happened and since then, she just let him have her every time he wanted, all because of her feeling to him but… sadly he did not feel the same way too. It was hurtful but what else could she do? She was hopelessly in love with him and would do anything to make him happy.

It was a love first sight for her, despite not knowing who he was at that time but when she first saw him, she knew her heart belonged to him, and him alone.

However, for him, she was just…

"Hey, are you okay?"

She snapped back to reality and gave her sheepish grin.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, of course. I thought that we're not going to do anything this week with the Valentine's Day around the corner," she tried to change the subject, asking them casually although deep inside she was crying her heart out remembering what tomorrow is for the whole world; Valentine's Day.

"Oh yeah, Valentine's Day. I was about to tell you something. I can't join whatever activity if you wanna do it tomorrow. I want the entire day to spend with Vivian," Raymond winked.

"What about you, then?" Vic asked Nick but he just grinned.

"Of course I have all plan for my Sunny," Nick winked at the blushing Sunny.

Sharon smiled to see all of them were so happy for tomorrow. Then, she sighed sadly, thinking what she would do tomorrow other than watching the television alone.

"What about you, Vic?" Raymond suddenly asked.

"I have a plan already," Vic answered.

"Sharon?" Sunny asked.

"What else to do except watching television and finish off the ice cream in the fridge?" Sharon answered as she shrugged.

"Oh man, that's so boring," Raymond commented.

She didn't say anything. What else could she say now? Her life was boring… well, except when 'he' was sharing the bed with her.

She walked alone in the mall. At first, she thought she wanted to go straight home but when she thought about being alone in that big house made her change her mind.

"Damn, maybe I shouldn't choose this place in the first place," she muttered to herself seeing couples walking hand in hand with the big smile on their face. They were so in love that it shone brightly on their face.

She sighed heavily with her shoulders lowered down. How she wished she could be with him now but…

"Cheer up, Sharon. The world will still be the same even if you cry bloody tears," she told herself and sighed again.

She entered the first shop and looked around. Although it was not her style at all as she is a tomboy but suddenly she wanted to change.

"Maybe I can find someone to be my date tomorrow if I change my style," she told herself and grabbed the first cloth that attracted her attention.

She blushed to herself to see her reflection in the mirror. She let her hair go from the hat, letting them framing her face.

"Is that me?" she asked herself with her finger touching her reflection in the mirror.

"Wh…wow…" she choked out.

"Will he like to see me in this?" she asked herself before a sigh slipped out from her parted lips.

"Dream on, Sharon. He will never like me. He only sleeps with me when he is sad about…" she did not continue her words but it was like an invincible knife stabbing into her heart just thinking about it.

She changed back into her outfit and took the clothes she just tried to the payment counter. Although she knew the chance for him to see her in this is very slim but she wanted to wear this outfit tomorrow, maybe the whole day even though she would be in her room all the time, the entire day.
