Greetings, Mister Principal

Chapter 87: Checking out the examination center

How did they spend the evening, Reiner naturally didn't know. After he woke up the next morning and ate the breakfast delivered by the hotel waiter, he noticed that Claire and the others didn't seem to wake up yet, so he left the hotel by himself and went to check out the examination center in advance.

Osborne was right. The hotel was not far from the headquarters of the Torrendo Magic Association. It was only about ten minutes' walk away, and it was relatively lively along the way, with many shops selling all kinds of goods.

The Magic Association was a modern building. It was five-story high with a simple and low-key design. From the outside, one could see dense windows. Compared with ordinary tall towers, the ventilation here should be better. It was quite comfortable in this slightly hot early summer.

Entering the hall, a hint of coolness came towards Reiner. It seemed that the entire building was equipped with a temperature-regulating magic circle, at least he would not need to sweat while writing the papers tomorrow.

There were several information desks in the lobby on the first floor of the Magic Association. A sign told people that the specific location for the exam was on the fourth floor of the Magic Association, and it was not open to the public today.

As for the seating plan, it was posted next to the sign. Several young apprentices were looking at the seating chart.

Reiner leaned over and quickly found himself and the four students' names on the seating chart.

There were a total of four examination rooms, and he and Dana were in the same examination room, and the remaining three were in the other three examination rooms. It seemed that they had scattered the students from the same school as much as possible to prevent cheating.

Reiner also took a look at the seats of the two brothers he met yesterday. By coincidence, that James Patchell happened to be in the same examination room with him, and he was sitting next to Reiner.

"There are twenty-five candidates from Brooklyn this year, which seems a bit small."

"Phoenix has a high rate of enrollment in recent years, and it has won first place in comprehensive examinations for five consecutive years. Now the number one magic school in the province of Ann Monet is Phoenix."

"Who knows, Phoenix was just an ordinary magic school at the beginning. It seems that after that principal took office, the students' grades improved a lot. If I had known about that, I would have applied to Phoenix instead."

"Hehe, you make it sound like you could enter Phoenix back then."

The apprentices were whispering, and Reiner noticed that the mage robes they were wearing had the same coat of arms, and they should be classmates from the same school.

Brooklyn and Phoenix were both the names of magic schools. Originally, Brooklyn ranked first in the province of Ann Monet. But five years ago, after a strong female principal came to the Phoenix School of Magic, the students' performance kept improving. Just looking at the promotion rate and assessment results in the past few years alone, Phoenix seemed to have completely defeated Brooklyn.

The competition between Brooklyn and Phoenix was not only reflected in the magic exam, but also in academic competitions and competition in various affiliated industries. The two were secretly competing in all aspects.

In terms of other schools, they also had fun watching the two big schools fighting each other.

The two students noticed Reiner, feeling a little strange. After all, it seemed that Reiner was a few years older than them, and he was not wearing a robe.

"You also came to take the exam?"

Asked the bolder one.

"Yes, I'm in examination room number four."

Reiner nodded. He didn't mind getting to know the students from other schools.

"Examination room number 4, isn't it the one where Reiner Ian Gray is? You are so lucky."

Another student glanced at the seating chart, then exclaimed in a low voice.

'Uh, am I that famous?'

Reiner remained silent. He did not want to explain, only smiled slightly.

"Who is him? It sounds so familiar? I'm in the same examination room with him."

Another student approached them and asked. He was not from the same school as the two, but he seemed to be very sociable.

"You don't even know Reiner Ian Gray?"

The surprised student stared at the person and then talked endlessly.

"He is the youngest winner of the Hohenheim Golden Cup Award ever. Although he is still a mage apprentice, he has successfully overthrown the traditional fire element burning theory and broken down water!"

What he said stunned others for a while, and it seemed that Reiner's discovery was still a bit unfamiliar to these apprentices.

"He is my idol, if I can see him, I must let him sign my notes!"

This student was obviously a small fan of Reiner, but it was a pity that he was a boy.

"According to you, people like him would crush us easily in the exam, so why does he want to take the mock exam?"

The sociable student obviously didn't believe it. After all, as mage apprentices, they had limited access to academia, and they didn't have a clear understanding of what Reiner did. It was quite normal for them to feel suspicious.

"That... I don't know."

Smacking her lips, Reiner's little fan rubbed his palms, looking eager to do something.

"Tomorrow I will go to him for an autograph as soon as I finish the exam. Haha, I may be able to brag about it for a year."

They were still discussing it, but Reiner had left quietly at some point. He was not interested in these flatteries, but was worried that if someone recognized him, it would be bad to be surrounded by a group of people.

When walking back to the hotel, Reiner happened to meet Claire who had come out in a dress.

Her blond hair was tied at random behind her head, and the dress on her body was the style suggested by Reiner, which highlighted the beautiful figure of a girl.

It was just that Claire was yawning carelessly, without the slightest dignity of a lady. She covered her mouth, halfway through the yawn, she happened to see Reiner. Then her whole movement suddenly seemed to be paused.

"Good morning, Claire, did you sleep well last night?"

Rainer joked. His words finally made Claire move again. The girl turned her face a little embarrassed, and her posture was a little stiff.

"Not, not bad."

Claire replied, and she looked up and down Reiner, feeling a little strange.

"Where did you go?"

"I went to see the examination center."

Reiner said, and then asked,

"Are the other students still sleeping?"

As a man, it was naturally inconvenient for him to take care of the daily lives of other girls too much, so these matters were handed over to Claire.

"Dana and Fina have already gotten up, maybe they are reviewing, Lya is still having breakfast, and Eureka probably hasn't gotten up yet."

Claire had checked the situation of the students before, so she answered immediately.

"Okay, you can inform them later that they are free to review their study today. After dinner, I will briefly explain the precautions for the exam. As for before dinner..."

Reiner thought for a while and said to Claire.

"You got anything else to do? We can go for a walk."

"Go, go, go... go for a walk?"

Claire was a little nervous. After all, no man had ever invited her like this before, and she was a little flustered.

"Mhm, you can go back to your room to prepare. I'll call you in half an hour."

Reiner didn't have any explanation, he simply said it like this, and then returned to his room, leaving Claire alone in the corridor, having a wild imagination
