Going Into the World!

Steve Jobs and Halo

Steve Jobs really liked the opening ceremony of the 99 MacWorld today. The colorful graphics and movements of the three-person shooter game, with the exception of the majestic background music and the most complete story, say, "Why is the Mac superior to the window? I was confident that it was a game that could demonstrate the excellence of the Mac.

From the first moment I saw it, I was excited to introduce it to you.

“We see some really great games coming back to the Macintosh platform these days. And in particular, I can argue that this is the coolest game I've ever seen.” I can see a bright smile on the face of the introductory Jobs, whose voice is more powerful than ever.

“This game is coming out at the beginning of next year at Bungee Soft, and it's now for the first time, really for the first time. Jason Jones led the Halo project as one of the founders of Bungee Soft! ”

Steve Jobs briefly introduces Jason Jones and Bungee Soft and hands over the microphone to Jason.

“This is a game that you'll see rendered in real time at Macintosh Open GL. ”

After a fairly short description, Jason approaches four computers in a row, pressing the button, and the character with the suit comes running with a gun.

After the opening video, the audience was amazed at the enormous graphics and sound, and the journals were delighted to see this.

“Haha. Jason, you're so nervous! Well done earlier." Jobs off the stage after the opening ceremony encourages Jason to stand still. In fact, Jason was so nervous today that he couldn't get a microphone from the Jobs and introduce himself properly that he started opening Halo right away.

To Jason, a typical bone marrow game programmer, it was still a tremor to announce at the main event of this big event. Jobs wasn't really Jason's idea of encouragement.

Originally, human aggressive remarks were straightforward, but today's reactions were so good that other things felt like minor problems.

'Phew! This is a completely different person from yesterday.' Sheila, who was watching next to me, sticks her tongue out to the blemishes on both faces.

A few days ago, all the contractors who were in the meeting ran away crying because they acted young without giving the right reasons, and today they acted like angels.

99 McWorld was one of April's days when everything seemed to be going smoothly after a successful conclusion.

“Steve! Did you hear the news?

Jobs is coming up with a new idea, and Phil Schiller, VP of Marketing, is in a panic.

“Phil, what a mess you're in. I told you not to interrupt me while I was working on something. ”

“That's not the problem right now. I acquired the street address at Johnston Entertainment. ”

“What? What are you talking about? ”

Steve Jobs is confused by Schiller's words. Last week, I called in the takeover of Apple from Bungee Soft, but the negative journal for the takeover of the developer refused.

On second thought, however, I allowed Schiller to make an acquisition around lunch yesterday thinking that I would have to hug the developer in the absence of a decent game going back to Mac. I haven't given you permission verbally in a day. What kind of nonsense is this?

“I called the number software this morning, and I signed up with Johnston Entertainment yesterday. ”

“Hehe! Damn it!" Jobs protrudes from his mouth.

“Steve, calm down. Are you okay?"

“Would you calm down now? What the hell were you doing to get into this mess? No one knew the developer was negotiating with the other side? You should know that much information, huh? Tell them to get together now! ”

Schiller was unfair. He clearly said no a week ago, so I don't know why he's here now. Why would a small developer tell Apple they're in contact with something else? The cry of the Jobs sounded forced. In fact, Jobs praised me on the game ‘Halo’, but overall I was not interested in the game.

I called a meeting of Burya Burya for fear of fire dropping from a grumpy mess.

People gather in the conference room and Jobs speaks out.

“What is Johnston Entertainment? I think I've heard that before. ”

“John Kim, a recently emerging friend of mine, has a film company called Polygram. It's owned by Google and Myway. ”

“Oh, I know that guy. So it's an independent company, right? ”

Steve Jobs felt fortunate. I was worried that I might be involved with other competitors.

“That's not necessarily the case. He used to work with Gates and Valmer at Microsoft, and now he's a major shareholder at Expedia, where he fell into an in-house venture. It's very close to the president of Expedia, Richard Barton, and his brother, Richard Barton, is one foot across Microsoft.

Moreover, I've been told that Microsoft is really going into the gaming industry, and a friend of mine, John Kim, is likely to put more weight on it. ”

It's Steve Jobs that makes me feel worse the more I hear it. The last time I asked you to acquire it from Soft, I was just letting you do it, but thinking about it made things difficult.

“Oh, this is a problem. What's wrong with Bungee Soft, anyway? Why the sudden trouble with the company? ”

“Steve, I called Jason on his cell. This time, I launched Mythology 2, and it was a little hard to get caught up in a lawsuit because I was having trouble erasing the hard drives from the Asian version. Indemnification is millions of dollars, and bubble controversy has made it difficult to attract additional funds internally. ”

The ‘landmine’ that erases the drive was a critical hit, unfortunately, the surroundings are also not good. People may have concluded that Soft was in a hurry to sign off on the takeover negotiation.

Jobs was a little worried. Halo was developed into a Mac, and it was announced that it was coming soon, and if it went to a game for Microsoft, it would be "The coolest game ever!" The one who praised himself, 'What is this?

Jobs returned to the office after contacting Johnstone Entertainment at the meeting and instructing them to investigate further before and after. Jobs, the perfectionist, was intolerant to the thought that his fault had led him to work.

I'm trying to calm my mind and focus on something else, but someone knocks and comes in.

“Steve, you don't look so good. ”

“Oh, it's no big deal. Something's come up. ”

“What's going on?” Jonathan is worried about the Jobs.

“That's when the game developer we were working with went to another company, and that company is connected to Microsoft. That's just what bothers me. I'm trying to figure out the details. ”

Anyone else would be angry at the question itself, but it explains why Jonathan is the best friend in the company.

“It's going to be okay. Don't worry, but what kind of company?” I'm not curious, but I'm just asking Jonathan.

“It's called Johnston Entertainment. ”

Johnston? That's what a friend of mine, John Kim, does. ”

Jonathan is surprised. Isn't it run by John, a company we've known since we met a few years back at the museum in New York?

“Huh! You know John Kim?” Jobs surprised by Jonathan's reaction.

“Haha. Aldamada. I call you from time to time. My successor is the head of the design team at Myway, run by John. John asked me to recommend someone last year, so I hooked him up. ”

Jobs that listen to Jonathan's story seem to have a slight headache. A friend named Jonathan and John are close to each other, so I thought I'd set up a separate table and talk.

@

“Sir, I spoke to the president of Bungee Soft, and he was positive about what we were interested in. Shall we continue?"

I gave Polo instructions and received a report that the migration was going well.

“Chairman, I think we need to come up with a more specific price. How much would it be? ”

Just a month ago, he was eager to enter the gaming industry, but now he was surrounded by bubbles, hearing strange noises and creating anxiety in newspapers and broadcasts.

The man who stole it told me. I didn't know much about the game, so I thought it was a waste of money in this chaotic time, so I tripled the price I initially thought and then took one off.

“Hmmm. Just say 20 million dollars. ”

It's been less than two days, and Polo's here again.

“Chairman, we agreed on the price we proposed at Bungee Soft. He wants to talk to you or talk to you first. What should we do? ”

That morning, the Treasury team received a report that there was a second $1.5 billion transaction for the acquisition of shares with America online. While it is unlikely that we will give up the remaining 1.5 billion dollars with the first 1.5 billion dollars already received, are you likely to go into a cluttered financial market? ’I had anxiety, but I felt good because it was clean.

“Try connecting now. Speaking of which,” I don't have to talk to you in person to buy a small company like this, but I was told I was in a good mood.

“I'm Alex Ceropian. ”

My secretary called me, and I immediately spoke to him and connected him. I briefly told him what I was calling about and heard what he said. However, there is nothing special.

I didn't ask you to call to hear my voice, but you're full of crap.

“There's one thing I want you to be sure of.” I don't think there's much to do, so I rush to say something else.

“Let me know if you have anything else to say. It's best to keep this clean. What are your conditions? ”

I heard it's already been resolved, but I can't stop telling you what I'm trying to bother with.

“This is something that not only I, but every employee, strongly desires. In particular, developers asked us to be clear about this. ”

I was listening quietly to the big start. I don't know what to say. I'm in a hurry.

“Our employees love a free atmosphere. I'm worried that if the company sells, it will change my outfit or our unique culture. So I want you to guarantee autonomy. It's also hard to move out of Chicago. ”

It's not that hard for me after hearing the story. I had no intention of meddling, no intention of moving.

“Do it. ”

“Yes?! ”

You answer Alex's questions and hang up, spinning the useless story. After handing the rest over to Polo and taking care of business, a final agreement was placed on my desk the next morning. I handed it to him with a fabulous autograph.

The $20 million acquisition negotiations that I touched while receiving $3 billion in cash were not very impressive to me.

Artwork Reviews

Jobs was watching a presentation on YouTube on the 99th MacWorld, and it was full of laughs, and it was funny how Halo was introduced and how young Jason was.

Furthermore, there was a video of Jason interviewing at the event that day. A typical developer who answered with a slightly shy look on his face.

In fact, Microsoft was a day or two apart. As above, Jobs refused for the first time, then changed his mind again a week later, and in a few days he said, "I'm happy."

Behind-the-scenes Jobs called Steve Balmer and was furious, and according to Ed Fries, vice president of gaming, Balmer didn't even know what his street address was. Balmer gave Ad Price an email with a phone number and asked him, "Calm down, the Jobs are very angry.”

Addy called me at that number, and the Journal answered. I made a hundredfold and begged for forgiveness, but I was only acquitted after agreeing to release a few games at Microsoft for free.

'Now that I think about it, I was the head of game development at Microsoft until I went to Steve Jobs' Mac Venue and joined Jobs on the stage to announce the launch of the Mac Games. 'Ad said in an interview. The author heard the interview directly on an Internet radio site called geekwire.com, and the voice of Ad was inspiring.

And after he acquired the number from Microsoft, he tried to bring it to Seattle, where he ended up in Chicago, shouting "Unique Culture" and "No Moves."
