Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 5 The Old Witch

After the farce was over, the door of Lihen Bookstore gradually returned to peace.

Neville was taken by his grandmother to heal the injury on his fist, while Harry, Ron, and Hermione gathered together to discuss in a low voice.

"Who is he?"

Hermione glanced at the place where Ulysses had disappeared, and asked in a low voice.

"I haven't seen it." Ron shook his head. "His surname has a good background. Lestrange...that's the most powerful family under the mysterious man..."

His voice trembled slightly, and he looked around cautiously, obviously not wanting people to hear what he said.

"Calm down, Ron." Harry said nonchalantly. "Don't forget that we snatched the Philosopher's Stone from Voldemort two months ago."

"He is wearing the school uniform, but I don't seem to have seen him... Is he really a student of the school?"

Hermione pressed her head to recall carefully, and found that she didn't even have the slightest impression of this person in her mind, and asked inexplicably.

Harry and Ron looked at each other and shook their heads together.

"I'll find out in a few days."

Hermione was puzzled and didn't bother to guess anymore, anyway, it was school day in a few days, and she would be able to solve this little doubt.

...

This is a bleak alley.

Obviously it was noon, but Ulysses felt that the coldness penetrated into his skin.

After leaving Diagon Alley, Ulysses turned into another street-the entrance of Knockturn Alley.

Many people with weird figures passed by him. Most of their bodies were hidden in the black cloaks, and they couldn't see their faces.

"Isn't it lost, dear?"

An old witch quietly appeared next to Ulysses, holding a dish that looked like a whole piece of nails of a dead man. She squinted at Ulysses, showing her mossy teeth, her hoarse voice as if someone was squeezing. With a broken bellows that has been in disrepair.

Ulysses thought that you are really dedicated, and I am afraid that the same thing has just been said to Harry Potter not long ago. His eyes rolled, his gaze stayed in her wizard robe for a second, a gentle smile appeared, and he whispered:

"Yeah, I came here without knowing what happened. Do you know how to get out?"

"What a polite child, Merlin will definitely take care of you."

The old witch grinned, pulled out a creepy smile, stretched out a scrawny hand to hold Ulysses, and said, "Come on, mother-in-law will take you out."

Ulysses avoided this hand calmly. He couldn't guarantee that if he was touched by this hand, he would be able to maintain the harmless appearance of humans and animals.

The old witch's hand stiffened, and then she put it back innocently, her old body took the lead in striding, and the corner of her eyes watched Ulysses. After seeing him keeping up, she held the plate in her hand and smiled. Said:

"This is a spirit armor, a treasure given to us by the dead wizards. There are many precious potions that require it. Of course, its magical effect is more than that. After raw food, it can make the magic in the body run more smoothly."

After speaking, she pinched a black nail from the plate and put it in her mouth. The sound of "click" made Ulysses nauseous.

"Want to have one?"

The old witch smiled and squeezed another piece.

"No, thank you. I just want to get out as soon as possible."

Ulysses' smile slowly disappeared, showing just a hint of tension, his hands hanging restlessly on both sides of the robe, looking a little restrained.

The old witch didn't care, and led Ulysses forward. If Ulysses really wanted it, she would still be reluctant to give it.

Many people passing by looked at the two men under the hood of the cloak. After seeing the face of the old witch, they scolded in their hearts, but no one reminded Ulysses.

The people who come and go in Turnover Alley are not serious people, and it is not guilty to offend this perverted old woman for the sake of a naive student.

"Honey, can you tell me your name?"

The old witch took Ulysses into an increasingly cramped alley, and a foul smell came out, the sun could not shine in, and the gloomy atmosphere made Ulysses frown slightly.

"Ulysses, ma'am."

Ulysses did not give his full name. He looked at the gloomy alley in front of him, and the darkness in front of him could not be seen at a glance, and he asked suspiciously.

"Is this really an exit?"

"Of course, walking out of this alley is the exit."

The old witch glanced at him, her old body slowly tightened, her voice was a little more solemn, but she still said nonsense, "This is a hidden exit in Knock Down Alley, few people know."

"It turns out that this place is called Turnover Alley. I heard that there are many dark wizards haunting here. Granny, are you also a dark wizard?"

Ulysses kept walking under his feet and asked with a smile. Only two of them were left here, and he hadn't expected to deceive the old witch. If it weren't for brain problems or the confidence to control the situation, which child in his ten-year-old would follow an old witch who looked very strange to such a remote place?

Of course the old witch understands this, but in her eyes, no matter what the child has, she can't get through any storms.

Ginger is still old and spicy, and Ulysses' age is too deceptive.

"Yes, now the dark wizard has a hard time, and can only live in this kind of place. I'm at my mother-in-law's house, do you want to come in and play?"

The old witch pushed open a door that was almost hidden on the alley wall, her tone relaxed a bit, and she looked back at Ulysses, looking more satisfied.

There was a chance to attack the famous savior Harry Potter today, but he was disturbed by a damn big man. Now switching to Ulysses is barely acceptable.

"OK."

Ulysses responded with a smile, but the robe on his body was slightly agitated, and the magic power was ready to go, his right hand was enveloped in the robe, and he held the wand tightly.

The old witch was afraid that Ulysses would get into trouble, and faced Ulysses back into the room, her turbid eyes fixed on the right side of his robe.

After Ulysses also entered the room, the door closed automatically, making an unpleasant noise. Dim candles rose up in the four corners of the room at the same time, reflecting the two faces dim and bright.

Until now, the old witch's tight heartstrings were relaxed. Entering this room is equivalent to entering her home court. All the decorations are useful. After she is sure of it, her eyes become anxious, and she said with a strange smile:

"Come on, dear Ulysses, let me see your confidence, by the way, teach you for your parents, adventure games can't be played casually."

Ulysses looked at the environment in the house calmly, which was filled with the limbs of a large number of unknown creatures, exuding foul smells. Gray hairs were randomly stacked in the corners, and lice were faintly beating on them.

On the right side of the old witch, there was a dilapidated wooden door, which was tightly closed at this time, and the situation inside could not be seen.

After hearing the words of the old witch, Ulysses gave a strange smile to the corner of his mouth and said:

"Are you sure... you really want to educate me on behalf of my parents?"
