Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 221 Soft Nails

"You are Gerald Rozier?"

Joey squinted at Gerald and said coldly.

"Yes. What's wrong?"

Gerrard looked up at him with a frown.

"How's it going at Hogwarts? Have fun?"

"none of your business?"

"I'm just thinking that Hogwarts is listed as one of the three major magic schools in Europe, which is a bit unqualified compared to Durmstrang."

Joey gave a sneer and said contemptuously.

Gerrard's eyes widened, and he was speechless for a while, and then said after a while:

"Dumstrang? Are there people who think they are arrogant like you?"

"Is this Hogwarts education?"

Joey curled his lips.

He glanced at Gerald's side, looked at Millie, Draco, Ulysses and others, and then he fixed his gaze on Ulysses.

"As far as I am concerned, your two friends may know better than you how to be a nobleman."

Joey looked at the flat ironed dresses on Draco and Ulysses, and said casually.

In fact, he just made an excuse to continue to belittle Gerald. Although Draco and Ulysses looked outstanding, he didn't really care.

But he didn't expect that this sentence just provided a weapon for Gerald.

"Ha. Who do you think you are comparing with me?"

Gerrard lifted his chin and laughed, "Ulysses is an elite student in our school and my roommate."

"Oh?"

Joey glanced at Ulysses twice. "Elite? What kind of elite?"

"Of course it is an elite with no dead ends in all aspects."

Gerrard blurted out subconsciously.

Ulysses was a little ashamed to hear that, at least in Quidditch, Ulysses had no shot results, but now Gerrard can't care about so much.

Joey chuckled a corner of his mouth:

"Everything? Hogwarts still teach you how to tell jokes...hahahaha..."

"Is it funny?"

Ulysses asked seriously.

Joey’s smile froze, and just about to say something, he heard Ulysses continue to say, “I don’t know why you are deliberately provoking, but I think it’s better to stay low-key in someone’s house.”

"My behavior is not provocative, is it?"

Joey said tit-for-tat, "I just want to come over and talk about each other's school."

"If you call this behavior ‘communication’, then I have nothing to say."

Ulysses shrugged, "Just don't use this naive word game to pretend, it will only make you insult your family name."

A trace of irritation flashed in Joey's eyes, but the noble education he had experienced since childhood still kept him calm.

"Did I insult my last name? You don't need to judge that."

He glared at Ulysses and said, "Then what's your last name?"

"Enough, Joey, come back."

Ulysses smiled strangely, and just as he was about to open his mouth, Mr. Prewitt shouted from behind.

Joey looked back in confusion, but still didn't mean to disobey his father, just glared at Ulysses viciously.

But The next moment, Joey felt that he saw a Devil pattern condensed in black smoke in Ulysses' eyes. He was shocked, and a feeling that his soul was trembling rose up.

Joey quickly avoided his eyes and walked in the direction of his father.

"Why, father..."

There are doubts and grievances in his words, as well as a trace of unclear fear.

"This young man has a lot of background, don't have any evil with him for now..."

Mr. Prewitt whispered, and then frowned, "And just now, he seemed to use some kind of soul-related magic..."

"Then I just swallow this breath?"

Joey was annoyed.

"We came for another purpose this time, so don't provoke that young man in the next time..."

Mr. Prewitt’s eyelids drooped, "Even if you can, do you dare to go and collect this account yourself?"

Joey looked stiff and snorted coldly, turning his face away from speaking.

Mr. Prewitt looked at own son and shook his head secretly. He couldn't be clearer for his own son. If Joey had the courage, what if the family's purpose could not be achieved this time?

Speaking of it, this time is just to test it out, after all, it is really not something that can be accomplished overnight.

On the other side, Gerrard was puzzled.

"Is there something wrong with that guy? Just leave it uninvited, and run over to provoke me?"

"Maybe the Prewitt family has some plot."

Ulysses frowned and said. Before he aimed his finger at Ulysses, he had been on the sidelines, naturally seeing the behavior of the Puvit group a little weird.

The conflict that occurred in this corner is just a small contradiction. It can only be said to be a small splash in the spacious restaurant, and no one pays attention here.

Ulysses shook his head, put Joey's little trouble behind him, and listened quietly to the conversations of other guests in the restaurant.

To him, the news between these pure-blood families in the British magical world is still very important.

As the night darkened, more and more guests arrived at the Rozier family.

Everyone seems to know each other, at least most families are inextricably linked. It can also be seen from this that in the magical world, how complicated is the interlacing of family forces.

After having dinner, many guests walked to the spacious backyard and played ten-post, bowling and gobbling. These games seemed to be very popular among the aristocracy.

Before long, the door of the restaurant was closed, and Mr. Rozier stood up and said loudly:

"Gentlemen and ladies, the dance party has been set up, please move to the hall—"

After hearing what he said, almost all the guests couldn't help but feel refreshed, even Ulysses showed some interest.

He also wanted to know what Sacred was the so-called "one of those families" in the mouth of these guests.

Ulysses just wanted to go in with the crowd, but saw Mr. Rozier beckoning here.

"Oh, sorry, Ulysses." Gerrard said embarrassedly. "My father told me to come over."

"It's okay, you go."

Ulysses replied, then turned around, "Aren't you going to the parent's side?"

Millie shook her head:

"No. I must talk to some unfamiliar family members again. It's so troublesome."

Draco turned his head and looked around, seeming to be searching for a target, automatically filtering Ulysses' words in his ears.

After searching to no avail, Draco withdrew his gaze somewhat disappointedly, and continued to say to Ulysses unwillingly:

"Ulysses, just tell me, how did you meet Gerald's Big sis..."

Ulysses rubbed his brows with a headache and ignored him. But he also found out that Cecil had disappeared since Puwit and his party appeared.
