After two years of writing, "The Game of the World Tree" is finally finished. To be honest, it is really reluctant.

In two years, a lot of things have happened in reality. During this book, I graduated, worked, and left the singles.

As for the ending of the book...it's quite satisfactory. After all, I haven't escaped the influence of the old book and wrote an open-ended book.

Regarding the truth of the world, this is also the ending I thought about before I opened the book, but...in the middle of the book, I once hesitated whether to rewrite the ending. After all, ideas are ideas. When the book is really written, inspiration and thinking are changing. At that time, I always felt that it was not good to become science fiction at the end of fantasy.

But in the end, I still couldn't hold it back.

However, to be serious, I still feel that the ending is not handled very well, and the most desired result has not been achieved. The reason is, um...I will talk about it slowly.

Let me talk about the results first. The current book is 1.1w, which is ten times more than when the first book ended, and it is still increasing. For me, who has only been in writing for three years, it is already A very pleasant result.

"World Tree" is able to achieve this result, cannot do without everyone's support, as a starting point for a female protagonist (?) that is rare in male frequency, it is already very rare.

Although the results of "World Tree" are good, the story of 3 million words also made me see a lot of problems.

1. Rhythm disorder.

The most serious point in the book is that there is a problem with the rhythm, especially the foreshadowing of the main line and the ending of each plot.

The main line of "World Tree" is too procrastinated, and the ambush pens are too far apart, and after being buried, they have not been promoted layer by layer, which continuously raises the reader's sense of expectation. Instead, they have been playing dumb puzzles and dragging the rhythm. Quite a few readers have lost interest in the main line.

In this case, the ending problem is so serious that it seems a bit fragmented for the whole book.

This is a very fatal problem. If the book is not a player stream, it is estimated that this alone is enough to hit the street.

At the same time, the ending of each plot also has different degrees of anticlimactic problems, which leads to a climax, but the writing is not cool enough.

I reflect on the reasons for these problems, there are three main reasons:

One is that I have insufficient writing experience and did not plan ahead;

One is that when I was creating, I didn’t do the details properly, I wrote too much when I should skip, too little when I wrote, and sometimes even water...

The last one is that my personality is irritable, and it is easy to appear anticlimactic.

Of course, when it comes to the ending, there are repeated hesitations when I create, change in the middle, and finally turn back...

These shortcomings must be corrected. For me, the most effective way is to conceive the content distribution and refreshing setting of the plot in advance, and to stick to the original intention, continue to create, continue to exercise, continue to think, and accumulate experience.

2. The characterization failed.

The characterization in this book, in my opinion, is quite a failure.

Especially the protagonist, the protagonist in the whole book hardly formed his own distinct personality. If the player element is omitted, the protagonist's portrayal is quite weak, and he has not stood up from beginning to end.

It can be said that this book is almost unattractive if it is not for the player.

In fact, not only the protagonist, but also the character portrayal of the whole book has problems, not clear enough, templated, many dialogues and practices do not conform to the identity of the character, and so on.

These issues, I also mentioned in the previous comments at the end of the volume.

After reflection, I think the biggest reason is that I didn’t make the character setting in advance, and the foundation was not set up. Although there was a main line when writing, but when it came to the characters, they did not think about where they were written, and did not have their own in-depth thinking. Can make the character come alive.

This is something I will try to avoid in my next book.

The character portrayal is not about the tedious and detailed writing, but the need to make the opponent come alive through the appropriate language, actions, appearance, and the story related to the role.

Sometimes, as long as the design is exquisite, a sentence or two is enough to make the character stand up and make everyone impressed.

This is also the realm I will pursue next.

Three, the plot is fragmented

The main plot of the book is too fragmented from the player plot, further dragging down the rhythm.

This is a problem in the selection of materials, and it is also a problem that was ignored when the book was conceived. For this book, there is no solution. However, new books should be avoided as much as possible.

The lesson is that in future creation, regardless of the main line or the branch line, all the plots must be able to merge together in various ways, cross-link each other, and form a tight line.

4. Poor literary skills

There are too many repetitive descriptions, too many stressed words, and sometimes the descriptions are too pale and weak.

The battle description is out of the sky, and the big scenes are all the same, without their own characteristics, nor can they be wonderful.

The reason is that there is too little accumulation. This problem can only be improved through a lot of reading, and consciously imitating and learning, and continuing to create.

Five, want to write everything

This is the most common problem for novice writers. Although I have written two books, this problem still exists.

To create a story, you don’t need to explain anything, or pour everything out at once. Instead, you need to peel off the cocoon, layer by layer, and continue to advance.

Sometimes, you should also make proper illusions to leave room for the reader's imagination.

At the same time, when creating in the future, we should also avoid irrigation.

The above are the most serious problems in this book. There are other minor problems, but they are not serious.

When creating the next book, these mistakes should be avoided as much as possible.
