Shao Liling wished she should have fainted though, so she wouldn't have to answer the horrendous questions directed from Liu Shan

"WHY DID YOU SPIT YOUR DRINK ON ME, YOU UNCULTURED PIG?! DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES DAD ASKED ME TO WEAR THIS SUIT AND YOU JUST HAD TO RUIN THE MOMENT FOR ME, DUMB*SS!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, MOMENT? YOU WOULD BE HAPPY IF YOUR BEST FRIEND MARRIES YOU?!"

Shao spitted on him again, so that he would know what this imbecile was talking about himself, Liu Shan's napkin stopped, specifically, the hand that was clutching it to wipe the pee coloured liquid all over the front of his suit jacket halted, thoughts, millions of thoughts ran in his mind as he wondered what Shao Liling was talking about. Liu Shan was just staring at Liqin for only a bi- he meant he was a bit passed out, how could they even bring the topic of marriage in this conversation?!

The disgust written all over Liu Shan's face a minute ago vanished as the colours on his face disappeared, not that it had many colours, but now his face looked like a sheet of paper. A piece of paper Shao Liling would like to tear apart and crumble it like it was nothing significant.

Obviously she wouldn't dare to spit on him if both their dads still were here, they just magically disappeared alongside with Shao Liqin.

Shao Liling could kind of tell that her dad would have probably dragged Shao Liqin out since she knew her sister wouldn't miss such a drama happening in real life. Now that they both noticed, they were too caught up in their stupid argument that they didn't notice when the two dads left the victims behind by themselves.

"Sooo, what did you mean by marrying me, could you say it again please?"

The person before her was terrifyingly quite, completely different from the usual Liu Shan she had in mind.

Liu Shan asked hesitantly with his eyes a bit squinted, afraid of Shao Liling spitting on him yet again.

"They said that we're getting married once we turn eighteen"

Shao Liling just said out the important stuff as she noticed Liu Shan paling even more before he fired back,

"Why?! Why did you have too act soooo close to me?! Now I bet they both think we look like an old couple fighting like we've stayed together for years or something!"

"What do you mean an old couple? You look more like a grandpa than I do! And it's not wrong if they say we've stayed together for years! Did you forget that we were together since birth?!"

"That doesn't matter anymore, what did you say back to them?"

"I didn't say anything, why would I? I know you like Shao Liqin"

" YOU DIDN'T SAY AN-what?! H-how di-did you kn-know I liked your sist- I MEANT YOU SHOULD HAVE STRAIGHT OUT SAID NO! SO THEY WOULDN'T GET ANY WEIRD THOUGHTS OR SOMETHING!"

"If you are this eager for them to know that, just go and tell them yourself! Why are you yelling at me? I didn't even do anything.....serious"

*scoff*

"Are you telling me that you forgot you puked your entire glass of drink at me? Do you want me to demonstrate to you how you did it if you don't remember?"

Shao Liling quickly stood up and headed towards the entrance in a panicky mode as she didn't mind where she was stepping at, all she wanted was to get away from Liu Shan or else he will do what she did to him and make the already uncomfortable dress even more uncomfortable.

Shao Liling ran for her dear life, but then tripped over a spread out rug as she flew forward like a bird, and waited for herself to feel the hard impact of ground right on her face as she thought this was the way of god making her pay back because she had spitted her drink on Liu Shan.

She prayed one last time for god to save her even if it was the god in the first place to make her fall, but her prayers were indeed answered as she fell into a hard chest, soft but safe at the same time.

She looked up as she saw a boy covered in a bucket hat till his nose as he wore baggy clothes too. It was not possible for her to see the boy's face but the boy could, once he realized who it was, he stiffened slightly, Shao Liling was way to occupied with fright for Liu Shan. She wasn't able to tell who it was but nonetheless muttered some 'thankyou's to the stranger and postured herself straight and went out the door, only to see that Liu Shan was already there, mouth filled with an unknown substance as his cheeks were round. Liquid slightly dripping from a small gap between his lips as Shao Liling made a disgusted face and tried her hardest to stay away from him, she didn't want both Shao Liqin and her dad asking her how did she got wet.

Liu Shan was so raged from her expression as she made him felt the disgust too, earlier and spitted out the water like a faucet as Shao Liling quickly dodged, her quick reflexes coming in help as she didn't see what was behind her, an elderly man stood, now covered in the disgusting spit water from head to chest. As his bald head shone under the chandelier lights. Shao Liling tried her hardest not to laugh at the scene and left quickly.

Liu Shan stood there, baffled from the sudden turn of events as he felt a rush of adrenaline, he felt a bit guilty and shocked, he's mouth hung open.

But soon laughter erupted from his throat and he couldn't stop it as he bursted out in laughter, trying to chain them in as his restraints failed miserably and he laughed like there was no tomorrow.

As he continued laughing loudly as his voice echoed through the large empty corridor, Liu Zheng came in, hearing the familiar laughter of his own son as he saw the situation before him. Liu Shan rolling on the floor with tears running down in cheeks for the hysterics he experienced, laughing with no pause, and a old man, covered in disgusting looking water as his bald head shone like a bulb. Liu Zheng quickly analysed the unfolding scene before him as his cheeks became flush, with anger evident on his face. He didn't find any humour as he dragged Liu Shan up from the ground and made him bow while his dad said sorry, all whilst Liu Shan who continued laughing.

The angered old man scolded Liu Shan for his unmannerly behaviour for a short while but let it go since he was quite busy himself.

His dad dragged him outside, not forcibly but strong enough for Liu Shan to snap open from his laughter and realisation struck him at once. It was because of that d*mned Shao Liling.

As he saw their butler coming towards there direction in a car, the Shao family car was already ready to leave as one of the back windows rolled down and out came the tongue of Shao Liling, teasing him for what he has done just now, the window slowly rolled back up as their car then directed towards the driveway and they went back to where they came from.

" I swear I'll make her pay, just watch"

He muttered under his breathe with malice laced in his voice as he evilly smirked, walking towards his own car.

As the two cars left, there stood two people, watching them leave from their hotel window as they talked between themselves.

"That taller girl was the one who you said saw your ears, right? Did she see your tail also?"

Ye MinFeng admitted no with a shook.

"Should we tell master about it?"

He frantically shook his head as fear crawled into his eyes. He felt scared from what the reaction must be if the master knew someone saw his ears, not only ears but that person knows his name too. He regretted ever asking her on a date. Shao Liling had a weird pull towards him as he felt some invisible tugs for him to get closer to her, and that's what he did, but regretted it the next day.

He hadn't interacted with humans lately because they weren't as trustworthy as they seem and always had malicious thoughts.

"Ok, I'll do something about it, go get a rest, we have a lot to prepare for"

He nodded for the one last time as his ears flopped cutely on his head as he disappeared out of the room.
