"Inform dad about the exposure, do not let anyone know of this or else that Ye MinFeng might escape from our grasp again"

"Understood"

Right then, he received a call, he accepted it since it was one of his important acquaintance and conversed with them for a while.

"Huh, that imbecile must have thought he would get away from this one, he already acts like the boss here, the true heir to Xu is me, that mere hybrid, he's so calculative, I bet he had already thought of all this while dad was still in coma, he's acting as if he's already the CEO or something, eh? He doesn't know that dad just likes hybrids as their pets not his successor. Yeah, don't worry the seat is only for me to sit on that hybrid doesn't stand a chance"

"Ok, but don't try something rash, think rationally like a true business man, I don't want to invest to some company run by a disgusting hybrid, you better be sure, I can still terminate the contract"

"Yes, obviously, I'm busy right now, I'll talk to you after all this hybrid mess is over"

Xu Qing Rong sneered as he dismissed the call, he had just sent someone to tell his dad about someone knowing Ye MinFeng's true identity as a hybrid, he was feeling proud as he felt sure he had secured the spot.

After all, who would want to follow a CEO in a lower category than the sweepers? Xu Qing Rong was really manipulative, even if his father Xu Meng Bin warned him to not inform the staff about Ye MinFeng's true identity, he spread around fake rumours that once Ye MinFeng becomes the CEO, he would change more than half of the staff in Xu Corp. And hire new recruits in order to make it more successful. People were mad about that for a while considering that Ye MinFeng was new.

But there were people often didn't believe the rumours when they were actually with MinFeng because he was kind and considerate of the workers, helping them around often and always being respectful and well mannered during work time, calm during tough situations, the exact kind of CEO anyone would want. Plus he's really very young, and there's still a lot for him to learn.

Although Xu Qing Rong thought that he would be the next head for sure, he became jealous of the good treatment and adoration MinFeng received in the short while he stayed there.

His father wanted MinFeng to earn some experience so he sent him off to a well known shop around the area and checked the improvements he had while working there. He's communicating skills, he's bargaining skills and plus also his kind domineer drastically improved as he continued there.

But recently he hasn't even shown up to the shop without even telling the owner, he was slacking off, and from what Xu Qing Rong's subordinates had informed him, something bad as recently happened.

He couldn't help but be happy from the information and investigated further into the matter and came to know that he went on a date recently, he was quite surprised but he was sure that MinFeng's date did not knew at first that he was a hybrid. So one possibility could be that she forced him into sleeping with her when she found out about it.

Or she knew more than how much she should know. Both the possibilities were very unlikeable, but Xu Qing Rong was happy that MinFeng got what he deserved as a hybrid.

He hated animals since he was small, he saw them as playthings and often killed small animals for his own fun when he was young. He grew interested as the small living things fascinated him. One moment it was there, breathing and not moving an inch with fear from the human near it, trying to escape but next, dead, lying on the ground without any trace of any warmth or life left.

The whole process of living and dying fascinated him, but he came to no good and destroyed several food chains and lives of small animals, their living or dying did not matter to him as he continued doing it until he was a teen. One day, he made a bold move by taking the local cat home, and slaughtered it and buried it in their yard.

What he didn't know was that one of the maids had seen him doing all those disgusting, inhumane things and informed his father immediately. While she was on the call, Xu Qing Rong came to know about someone else's presence was there also and searched for them until he saw the maid in the kitchen faced towards the counter and frantically trying to not stutter and tell his dad all the things she had witnessed.

The butcher knife in his hands, now bloody, as he charged towards the maid who turned around as she saw him directing the knife towards her lungs as she dodged it but wasn't fast enough and it ended up in her left shoulder. She cried in pain as she tried escaping from him and the pain while she was still on the call. The maid turned the camera on and showed his dad all the horrifying and vulgar bloody scenes as the small boy charging towards her was was covered in blood, and saw him lunging towards the maid who tried her hardest to fight back.

Xu Meng Bin directly boarded a car himself as he ran inside the mansion with several trained guards trailing behind him. The maid now on the ground, unconscious with the knife still in her shoulder. The paramedics he had called for arrived soon while the armed guards were left with Xu Qing Rong. They told him that the maid has suffered from major blood lost and suffocation as there were clear marks of finger prints around her neck. He was devastated from such an act like this from his own son and wondered how he had cultured his son like this?

He lost all hope in his biological son as he's health grew weaker and weaker, the thoughts of his blood, sweat, and tears now wasted as no one was there to be the heir to his built Xu Corp.

As the situations were turning worse, people who had their eyes on the chairman's seat took their chance and framed Xu Qing Rong for assaulting someone. Xu Meng Bin was left with no hope as he took a break and went to the countryside to calm himself down a bit stayed there for several days.

One day, he was walking around the muddy pathway in peace, as he look around the calm scenery. Enjoying the silence of the nature. As his eyes swept around, he saw some small sized wheat fields, and in the middle, he saw a person.

A kid to be exact, not more than 10 as he saw him working hard without stopping, without a care in the world as he let nothing distract him.

The hard work and the determination was quickly seen by Xu Meng Bin as he continued watching the small boy, thus till the sun set, he was surprised from how quickly the time passed as he saw the boy, collecting his digging tools and was ready to leave.

He wanted to approach the small boy but the boy did not seem to have see him and left for his own way. He felt quite wrong following a child like this but, who would tell him that what he was feeling was worry?

The boy took twist and turns and soon arrived at a rundown place, with the wall paint cracking as the wooden roof looked like it would collapse at any second. The air around the area smelled like sewer drain and Xu Meng Bin tried not to gag from this strong foul smell everywhere.

He heard a small whimper from inside as he tried to see what had happened, he knew what he was doing was against the law, trying to sneak a peek in someone's house. But he was equally worried about the child as the same he was with himself.

There was no door or windows, just fishnets hanging loosely around nails on top of the ceiling. He felt sick in the stomach knowing someone was living in something as unkempt as here and peeked in a bit.

Inside, was the child, he had seen earlier, with no emotions as a grown man was whipping his already bruised skin, slight whimpers came put of his mouth as the man warned him to stay quiet. He was about to go in and intervene, as he saw the grown man, started touching the small child, inappropriately, with a dark grin looming in his disheveled appearance. The child stiffened, suddenly very conscious as he tried not letting the river of tears down his cheeks.

Xu Meng Bing who witnessed the scene was flabbergasted from such acts as he stepped forward and pushed the man with all his strength without minding the fact that he was very weak himself.

The man fell, but quickly tried to stand as he readied the belt in his hand to the intruder and tried hitting him.

Xu Meng Bing was nearly going blind with rage as he pushed down the man and tied his hands form the belt he was holding, as he loosened his grip, the man soon got lose as Meng Bin scooped the kid up in his arms, feeling the kid shiver slightly, as the kid was bare from any clothes, he saw the tail that was sticking out of his lower back as he understood that this kid was a hybrid.

Xu Meng Bin wasn't like other people and didn't let the child down when he found out about it, the society which didn't embraced things like this was truly a maddening thing for him.

But Xu Meng Bin can't think of this this now, he had to escape, he ran outside the hut as he ran left and right, frantically trying to search for the way outside, he ran and ran for some while but heaved a sigh of relieve when he saw that he was in the open again.

The child in his arms, cowering in fear as he was now in a different set of arms, still as frightened as before. He opened the zipper of his wool jacket as he put him inside it and tried making him warm and cozy.

He did seem to relax a bit when his skin was no longer in contact with the cold air, as he huddled together with the man who just saved him. Xu Meng Bin contacted the people who had accompanied him here and asked for them to bring some clothing with a pair of different hats.

As he put the phone down, he saw the boy glancing towards him,

"Hey boy, would you mind telling me who that was?"

The boy thought for a second and answered,

"B-boss"

Ahhh, thats why he had seen him working in the farm just now, no kid around here would have managed to buy that own his own so that seemed reasonable, thought Xu Meng Bin.

"You don have to be scared of me, I'm nothing like him, do you think so?"

"H-he sa-said the s-same thing"

Now, Xu Meng Bin understood, that this kid has trouble trusting people, the ones who were trusted took advantage of him. He was determined to help this certain boy.

"Ahh, don't worry, I'll let you have your own ways after we've taken care of you for a while"

The boy looked up, eyes filling with tears and muttered something,

"What was that? I didn't quite catch it"

"Y-ye Min-MinFeng, is my name"
