Frenzy Troll

Large Room [2]

Since then, there has been talk of how chaotic the world is and how serious the crisis of the kingdom is.

And then came the point.

“Above all, monsters lurking in the rising waters of the world · · · · ·”

But all of these were stories that were hard for Roland to relate to.

As a giant, evil spirits are hard to feel real in their fantastic existence. And you can't agree with unrealistic stories.

The minister finally came to a conclusion as he continued to listen with his expressions intact.

“· · · · · · Thus, Mediah asks its noble heroes. Come to the Palace! I pray on your behalf that you will be comforted by the world's most hated monsters! ”

Roland feels the cold sinking in his stomach. That was also the end of the eloquent speech.

The country needs you!

So fight! Fight and kill monsters!

And if you're unlucky, glorious death!

It was a request that I expected, and I was worried about. I was furious, but I shouldn't express my feelings.

In fact, what's wrong with buying mercenaries with gold? Their demands were justified. Even if it doesn't make sense to be called into the middle of a game.

Roland said.

“Of course we are willing to accept your request. ”

The chancellor smiled brightly. But he wasn't finished.

“But I'm sorry I can't answer that right now. ”

The smile disappeared from the minister's face.

“What do you mean? ”

“We follow the command of the Emperor. We can't just run off and swing our swords like the king ordered us to. Don't you think we should be mercenaries for that kind of blasphemy? ”

The king was referring, of course, to Karl. Roland's friend, known as the great car in this world.

That was a pretty good excuse to say the least. We cannot cooperate because the Lord has not given us an order. This is a plausible but hard excuse to refute.

The chancellor blinks a few times nervously and looks at Osron next to him.

“Your Grace, did the Emperor Carr answer your call? ”

Osron replied:

“I see.”

“Why didn't you tell me · · · · · ·"

Osron said, avoiding the minister's gaze.

“What's so rude about having a nobleman in your seat? We'll talk about this later. By the way, Lord Roland, when will the Emperor answer? Can you confirm that in a month? ”

Lollan is embarrassed that Osron is taller than he thinks, but answers without revealing himself.

“I hope you'll give me a policy soon, but I can't be sure. ”

The chancellor shouted.

“It's for the world! ”

“How can I force my lord's decision? I can't help it. ”

Luckily for Roland, the chancellor didn't say anything more. Was it a complete rejection to buy time?

Roland sighs, then leaves the conference room and returns to the big room. I spoke to Karl and other users about the conversation.

I thought I handled myself well, but I could also be complimented by Karl.

“Well done. Time's running out.”

It was that evening. After dining with the users, Roland was once again buried in the book.

She was also reading a book that Roland had brought her.

Unlike Roland, Karl's book was not a history book. Karl's books were geographic, herbal, and wildlife hunting manuals. I read it in history, but those magazines were more important.

Roland asks because it was something he couldn't understand.

“Why are you reading this? ”

Karl answered.

“Prepare to flee.”

“Escape?”

“Yes. Where can we eat wild plants? What should we do with the hunt? What should we do with the slaughter? ”

Roland opens his eyes wide.

“Fugitive, I think it sounds unrealistic. You don't want to be dragged out of the temple like that? ”

“Yes. Fight for the world? Are you crazy? Even if there's a riot coming and you want to fight, you'll want to escape. I don't have enough women or executives in the army to be bitten by earthen towels, so I guess I'll have to give my life. And you expect me to fight for some reason in some godforsaken world? No way. ”

Lollant agrees with that. But I couldn't be a part of his plan.

Roland said.

“But it doesn't make sense to run away. Even if I were to explore all sorts of survivalist documentaries, I'd still be in the mountains. I read a few medieval magazines. It's impossible to live in the wild. ”

Carl snores.

“You have to see that to know that. Anyway, I can't give them what they want. We are not slaves. ”

The grappling looks more like a parallel line. In the end, Roland turns his attention to his book.

After reading those old books for a long time, I got up when my head was getting tired and lifted the bat. Then you bring the right opponent to a duel.

It was the same the next day. Users read books when they are tired, and they spend their days training in combat when their heads are tired.

At the end of his training, Roland is exhausted. As I was exploring the book, the door opened wide.

And Jason came in and said,

“We need to talk. ”

A user shouts while straining his nerves.

“What, you son of a bitch? ”

Jason told me.

“You said you can't leave now because you have to follow your boss. The priests asked me to convince them to change their minds. ”

“You're here to offer volunteer services on the order of the priests? What kind of spy is this?

Soon I was filled with profanity in the room. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Jason frowns and sighs.

“What do you think I'm here for? I had no choice but to come. Anyway, I'll give you my opinion first. We can't all be stuck here. Some of us need to go out and fight. ”

Everyone opened their eyes. He also asked the car with a flying voice.

“What the hell is that? ”

Jason explained.

“The king who robbed the vault to summon us wants heroes in my court as soon as possible. The palace aristocrats insist that gold is being poured into rituals that may or may not work. The king is thinking about spending money on himself · · · · · · ·, and a couple of famous heroes show up as soon as possible and I want to guarantee that you didn't spend your money on nothing. By the way, the king will be so anxious to overthrow the temple if he's distracted by his command. Then it's all over. ”

“Are you the king? How do you know what you're feeling? ”

Jason replied, disappearing.

“I heard the Royal Guard sent you to investigate. The king's still half-mad, and if he keeps going, it's going to make his nipples turn. The priests are so fucking sleepy. · · · · · · · They fear that their summoning ceremony will fail ·"

"Failed summoning? ”

“Have you forgotten the settings you've made up? You know, with the confusion of the memory, it's just a bunch of crap that's kind of commonplace. He concluded that the cause was a problem with his consciousness, but he didn't explain it to the Royal Administration. I just asked for more time. So they're gonna try and get us out of here before they find out it's their fault. And if the cattle refuse to ship, what choice do we have? We have to move before then. Before the farmer grabs the whip, the livestock has to walk out on its own feet. ”

Lancelot growls.

“Shipped cattle die, asshole. ”

“You don't know. Ornamental water can be slaughtered. ”

The last word was a taunt. Immediately, a sticky person came out.

“Butchers? Are you here to wage a war? ”

“Why? Do they say the rich movies are waiting for us when we go out?" I'm sure if you turn your back on me like that, I'll be forced to spy on you. I'm here to stop the worst. We're all going to die! Some people have to be sold out of this temple to stop that from happening! ”

At the same time Jason screams, a handful of people clench their fists.

I felt like I was going to have a fight. It was Karl who went to arbitration.

“Wait, everybody calm down. Jason, if what you're saying is true, how many of us should enter the temple as we would like? I don't know if I'm gonna be followed and dragged off to war or if I'm gonna fight monsters, but what's the big deal if we don't get a few of them? ”

Jason replied grudgingly.

“Yes."

“Why don't you follow me out and see what I can do? You were upstairs with the priests. ”

“I've been trying to find out. I just came because I didn't hear anything. ”

“Oh, come on. I need you to find out something. You have to know what you're doing to make a decision. ”

Jason frowned on his arrogance.

“Don't count on it. And don't forget that some people must be elected, whether they say they will be dragged off to war or become princess husbands as warriors. Or we're all dead. ”

After saying that, Jason leaves the room.

An uncomfortable silence flowed through the room for about twenty minutes. The look on Jason's face when he returned was impenetrable.

Jason told me.

“I've asked you what you wanted. I got bad news and fucking bad news. What do you want to hear first? ”

Karl replies, distorting his face.

“Anything.”

“Then the bad news first. The court wants some of us on an expedition. There's going to be a massive expedition, and they're trying to get us on it. ”

“Conquer?”

“I didn't say that, but isn't it something like that? ”

Someone mutters, both of you.

In fact, it might be worse than that. If you join the military this time, you'll have to run for it. You could end up dead.

No one expected to be able to play like a player. Everyone remembered the raid that day.

Jason spoke.

“And the fucking bad news is: Royal officials say this expedition will be a very, very glorious temple. ”

I didn't have to interpret the meaning of the word. Because everyone understands.

That the expedition to follow will be very, very dangerous.

“Glad you don't have to follow me around too much. I just want to take three people with me. The three are divine numbers or something. ”

As Jason said, Karl asked if it wasn't comforting at all.

“How long before you try to take him away again? ”

“Why are you asking me that? I don't know. Don't! Anyway, you need to pick two right now. The one who wants to go. ”

I didn't care why they told me to pick two, not three. Karl shouts.

“Wait, I didn't say I'm following. ”

“Are you going to say no, then? You want me to let things blow up? ”

“I'd rather flee as a group. How can you come to another world and serve in the military?" ”

“Escape? That's more like it! Where am I supposed to hide? Do you want to eat a good meal every day? ”

They stared at each other for a while.

Jason turned his head first.

“Anyway, I told him. Pick two babies to be shipped out by tomorrow. ”

Jason folds his arms. Like he had nothing to do with this situation.

Karl mutters as if chewing it out.

“What the hell are you talking about?"

Then I looked at the users in the room with a stiff face. And I found that everyone was looking the same as themselves.

Faces like they're falling apart.
