Sherry’s warm welcome was comforting to Kaiden. He sat opposite of her with a towel covering him and warm coffee.

“Kaiden, something must have happened for you to look for me, am I right?” Sherry was all smiles, as she always did. “Just tell me. After all, I was the one who did you wrong!”

“Something did happen.” Kaiden’s head was low.

He remembered Sherry hugging him and wailing as she apologized when she was breaking up with him.

He did not try to convince her to stay but he said ruthless things like he would have a better life than her in the future!
