For You

Sam and his group of friends decided to go hangout more after Daniel joined them. They played around for a couple of hours and ate together in the cafeteria for dinner until it was around 7. Sam reviewed his routines to keep them fresh before showering and going to sleep early. His next match would be an hour after school ended.

The next day, Sam nervously left his last period before going to his dorm to work on his planned performances. Soon, an hour flew by and Sam had to go to the stadium. He was now familiar with the way to go to the stage and went there quickly. His opponent was already there before him. A pretty girl that had long golden hair. Her features were what could be described a regal, but her haughty persona made her seem juvenile and arrogant. Her name was Catherine, and she was a newcomer who was rising rather quickly. She had far more enemies than friends becuase of her disdain to the people she considered to be below her status.

Catherine came from a rich and old background, but was not the oldest of her parents' children or the most cared for. Her parents had been tired of her disrespect and trouble making for a while and were beginning to lose faith. They didn't know if their child could ever get rid of her holier than thou attitude.

Catherine gave Sam a once over before turning away. Although he was good looking, Catherine didn't think he could beat her. In fact, she believed that no one could beat her.

However, after dueling with Sam, she lost completely. They had competed in covering songs. Sam won with "Sweater Weather" and Catherine sang "Diamonds". Her vocal range went higher, but her control and arrangement of the song was not as good as Sam's. He had a unique timbre and pretty good range.

Catherine clenched her fists as she stood on the stage next to Sam as he was complimented by the judges. She felt embarassed and shamed. After they got off the stage, Sam offered a high five.

"You did great! Your range is fantastic, Catherine." Sam smiled at her.

Catherine found her heart beating faster as she stared at Sam's handsome face. She found herself uttering words that she had never said before.

"Thank you... You also did very well."

"Thank you very much. Bye Catherine." Sam waved at her and gave her one more friendly smile before heading off to the dance rooms to practice his routines.

When she went to her dorms, she laid on her bunk bed before grabbing her phone and searching Sam up, unable to resist her urges. She found his Instagram account and a video recorded by an audience member of his first performance. Catherine could help but screenshot the part where Sam smiled. She held her phone to her chest, but quickly pulled her phone away from her, feeling like she was doing something naughty. (The fanbase is growing :) )

Sam sneezed as he danced in the dance room. Was someone talking about him? Nah, that's just a silly supersition.

ML: *intense glaring* How long will these events take?

Author: (;・^・) it depends.

ML: *tsk* Depends on what?

Author:(|l'O - O) onnnnn.... ehm. Idk, it won't be too late. Event, minor meeting, then event, then your BIG INTRO. Good enough, right?

ML: Judging by your behavior, I think it's the best I can get.

Author: Ok deal. BYE *zooms away*

ML: *motions at a shadow* Bring them back.

Author: I sorry. ᴬ ᵛᵉʳʸ ᵗʳᵉᵃᵗᵉⁿᶦⁿᵍ ᵐᵃⁿ ᶦˢ ʰᵒˡᵈᶦⁿᵍ ᵐᵉ ʰᵒˢᵗᵃᵍᵉ ML, make him let me go. (;Д;)
