For You

19 Acting Class

Grace rubbed her chin. "I think I should go first, then Sam, then Marianne, and then Daniel."

"I'm fine with the order, what about you guys," said Sam.

"Yup, it's fine."

"Sure." Daniel nodded.

Mr. Roger clapped his hands in rhythm, and on instinct, the class repeated it. He looked approvingly at his class.

"That makes everything much easier. Okay, now that we have the order out of the way, please begin."

Grace immediately assumed a crouching position, her arms around her as she shivered.

"What am I going to do? I shouldn't have just left like that," a trace of regret in her voice.

"No, I shouldn't regret it. Staying would have been much worse. I should find a hotel. At least I brought my purse with me," she stood tall and proud, steely determination could be seen in her eyes.

Sam walked towards her, on his phone. He bumped into Grace and his phone almost fell to the ground.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," Sam apologized.

Suddenly, Daniel and Marianne walked towards them, Marianne clinging to Daniel's arm tightly. They stopped in front of Sam and Grace.

"Oh?" Marianne had a mocking smile on her face. "If it isn't Olive? It's soooo nice to have run into you, dear!"

"Be nice," smiled Daniel as he looked dotingly at Marianne.

Grace looked to the ground, her fists tightly clenched at her sides.

"Me and Marco were just having a nice evening stroll after some exercise." The last word was a low purr, implying a deeper meaning.

"Was it fun?" Grace said quietly, her head still down.

"Excuse me sweetie, what?"

"Was it fun whoring around with my fiancé?" Grace asked, looking up now, her volume increased.

Sam looked at the three people who were in an obvious confrontation.

"Um, should I leave?"

His question was ignored as the two ladies glared at each other.

"Whoring? What a hypocrite, you run out and a couple minutes later, we find you with another guy already."

"Woah, woah. I am not that type of guy, milady. We just happened to bump into each other."

"Not like the way you just happened to bump into my former fiancé at many motels countless times in a row," Grace sneered.

"Please excuse her," said Sam, with a genteel smile on his face, trying to lessen the tense situation.

"Butt out of this." Daniel snorted.

Daniel was not daunted. "This isn't any of your business is it? Why are you here?"

Sam sneered. "I was just going to leave before this, but now, with the way you are acting. It seems like it is my business now."

He cleared his throat. "Okay, get ready for my spiel."

"Okay, you, the one that stole her man."

Marianne looked at his, confusion in her eyes. "Yes?"

"You are one of the most despicable people I have ever met. Sleeping with a guy for weeks and then rubbing in the other girl's face? What is wrong with your head? Why are you proud of doing something so disgusting? You've ruined someone's relationship and that's a great thing?"

Marianne's lip quivered. "Who are you to be say-"

"I'm not done yet. The way you act is like a playground bully. You go around, and commit contemptible acts and brag about it like you want some sort of praise! Your logic is so flawed and juvenile!"

Sam whirled to face Daniel. "And YOU! Your so proud of abandoning a wonderful woman for one that just happened to be a bit more pretty but far more rotten. Because what? She compliments you? She has sex with you constantly? She doesn't even love you, you fool!"

Sam turned to Grace. "Although what they did is wrong, don't you think you should move on? Show that you are the better person and don't stoop to their level!"

"Now that I'm done, I take my leave. Have fun kids." When Sam said that last word, he scanned over the three with narrowed eyes, as if he was warning them.

Sam pulled out his phone and resumed what he was doing before he had bumped into Alex, walking away coolly.
