After Rong ZhanWu left, Feng XiaLin gulped with difficulty. The snake hissed viciously at him and encircled his body. Feng XiaLin was of course terrified. He anticipated that the snake will wrap itself around him; he jumped and backed away in a corner. The snake turned to him and hissed once again, its tongue touched his cheek and he flinched.

Under the silver light of the moon, the black scale of the snake glistened like black gems.

He completely stopped on his track unaware that the snake was only a few meters away. The snake used this enthrallment as a chance to pounce on him. Feng XiaLin snapped out of it but it was already too late. The snake wrapped its body around him and it slowly tightened its bound around him. Feng XiaLin struggled to free himself but the snake was quite strong that he can almost feel his lungs being crushed. Breathing became difficult, his body lost its energy and his vision faded. He looked at the snakes head and saw its face. The snake bit onto his arm and he immediately felt that arm go numb.

Feng XiaLin discovered why it was aggravated. Its left eye was actually injured! Concern was written on his face. He struggled to free his right hand as he took an ointment from his pouch. After getting a handful of that white substance, he applied it over the snakes wound.

"Don't worry," Feng XiaLin said weakly while smiling, "it won't hurt that much anymore."

After his hand left the snakes head, the snake didn't move and it let go of him. It was stunned for a moment before it looked back at the coughing Feng XiaLin. He tried with all his might to stand up before his knees gave out once again. He braced himself for the pain that his bottom was about to receive, when suddenly a firm and strong arms embraced him.

He looked up tiredly and saw Rong ZhanWu's grinning face.

Rong ZhanWu, "Did you miss me?"

Feng XiaLin, "..."

He hastily removed Rong ZhanWu's arms around him and he jumped away, he asked "Why are you here? I thought you went home?"

Rong ZhanWu showed a pained expression, he whined "I came back because I was concerned for you. Why are you giving me cold shoulders?"

"Heh, concerned?" he snorted, "Then why are you throwing me to dangers like this?"

Rong ZhanWu, "Alright, alright. This will be the last one. You see, I actually came back with a reason."

Feng XiaLin, "What is it?"

Rong ZhanWu, "Have you decided what reward would you want to have?"

Feng XiaLin replied indifferently, "Not yet."

Feng XiaLin, "Who are you? Where am I?"

A beautiful lady answered, "You know who we are. You are in Master Rong ZhanWu's bed. How are you feeling?"

Rong ZhanWu's bed? Who laid him there? This will be dangerous! Feng XiaLin tried to sit up but he was gently pushed down on the bed. He answered, "I feel like my whole body has gone numb."

"That was because you were poisoned." Rong ZhanWu suddenly appeared out of nowhere and he sat down next to him. Rong ZhanWu reached out his hand and caressed Feng XiaLin's face to feel his temperature.

"Stop that," Feng XiaLin knitted his brows, "that feels weird. People are looking."

Rong ZhanWu leaned forwards and whispered to him while smirking, "Then do you want me to do it when there is no one looking?"

Feng XiaLin, "..."

Qin Li, "..."

Black wolf beasts, "..."

Horned red horse beasts, "..."

Winged black snake beast, "..."

Seeing everyone's reaction, Feng XiaLin gave him a glare. Rong ZhanWu's hand then fell to Feng XiaLin's left hand. He gently rubbed it without any hint of indecency but of pure affection, he said in a soothing voice, "Alright, I'll stop. Rest well, I will prepare more medicine."

Then a group of five people stood up, all male. They said in unison, "We are the Black wolf beast. We will never forget the bravery that you displayed in front of us. We will try to understand humans more."

Then a group of four people stood up, all male. They said in unison, "We are the horned red horse beasts. We will never forget the kindness that you showed us. We apologize for causing you trouble."

Then a group of three people stood up, two ladies and a boy. They said in unison, "We are red beaked hawk beasts. We thank you for letting us listen to true music. We would try to learn it from now on."

Then a teenage girl stood up, "I am the winged black snake beast." then she suddenly kowtowed, "I'm sorry for doing a very rude thing to you. I deserve death!"

Feng XiaLin had a hard time in absorbing all of this information at once. These people were actually the divine beasts that he encountered? How did this happen? Forget about that for now, his focus was currently on that kowtowing girl who suddenly wanted to die.

"Young master don't be like that!" One of the red beaked hawk beast ladies exclaimed, "Master is very kind!"

An elder from the horned red horse beasts answered, "We are repenting."
