Before Kiritsugu died, he already prepared the Child for the next Grail War. He knew that he cannot live long. His time get nearer.

He should do what needs to be done.

After taking in the boy, Kiritsugu never waste more time. When the kid was healed, he then trained him how to fight. He taught the kid Martial Arts.

Kiritsugu introduced the boy to Mr. Fujimura, the landlord that also appears as the leader of the Gang in Fuyuki. Fujimura has fighting arena where he trains his new recruits. Kiritsugu had a talk with Mr. Fujimura and let the kid step inside the ring. He wants to try the boy.

A teenage man also steps in. The bell rangs.

The teenager charged through, but the boy easily dodge it. The young man falls into the ground. The boy grabbed the arm of the teenager and pulled it backwards while stepping at the fallen teenager.

An Enchantment Spells are the type of magic that can enchant things, objects or a living person.

For now, I will teach you Enchantment Spells, that is basic for all Mages."

Kiritsugu took a piece of wood and show it to Shirou.

"Trace On"

He chanted a spell on the piece of wood that the wood becomes firm.

Suddenly, he strike a metal pole standing before him and it was curved.

"If you put much pressure to this piece of wood, it could even cut this metal. And could even destroy this dojo."

Kiritsugu gently lied down cross-legged.

"But before anything else. Sit down. Face your back against me."

Shirou followed his Father's command.

"I am passing my Magic Circuits into you. It is an Enchantment Spell. By doing these, your Magic Aura will become stronger."

While passing his Energy to Shirou, blood flows down from his lips. As he finished, he coughed heavily and he spits out blood..

—"Old man, you're sick. I gotta take you to the hospital."

"No, I'm going okay. Nevermind me. Just--- (Cough) continue your training."

Kiritsugu left Shirou and went inside the room.

Shirou picked the bow and touched the arrow and he chants "Trace on". He closed his eyes after chanting the spell. All the details of the arrow pictured in his mind. Every structures, the designs and how it was made he knew all of it when he chanted the spell on the arrow.

He dropped the arrow and took his bow and aimed it to one of the targets without an arrow. Bending the strings, he chanted the spell again while closing his eyes, picturing an arrow in his mind. An object slightly appears. It looks like an arrow but, it is thinner as a needle. He opened his eyes and released the arrow and shot it on the target.

The thin arrow suddenly dispersed on the mid-air bȧrėly reaching the target. The sharp edge of the arrow managed to touch the target and left it with just a tiny scratch.

Shirou is disappointed because he hadn't perfected the Spell but on the same time, amazed that he discovered a projection spell by himself.

Shirou wakes up. He noticed that his Father isn't around. He look everywhere but he doesn't find Kiritsugu. He called out but no one answered. There's one place he missed. He stumbled upon the lock storage room. He tried to open it but he couldn't.

An old man suddenly appeared behind him. He has a hammer on his hand. He smashed the padlock and broke it. He opened the door.

"Kiritsugu!"

The old man is Mr. Fujimura. As he opened the door, he found Kiritsugu lying lifelessly on the floor. His daughter also came. As she saw a dead body on the floor, she covered the eyes of the shocked boy standing at the entrance.

"He's dead. There's nothing I can do. There's no traces of him being attacked but, what confused me, there is a gun beside him. Did he plan to kill himself?"

The funeral car came. There's no traces or evidence that he is being murdered so there's no need to call a police.

When Kiritsugu's body were taken. Mr. Fujimura called Shirou. Shirou told him everything that happened yesterday that leads him to conclusion. They found out that Kiritsugu suffered a serious illness for a long time and he kept it a secret.

No one knows what really happened that night. Before he died. They never knew that Kiritsugu were cursed. They never knew that someone visited him that night. They never knew he was been killed.

It was five years since the kid was saved by Kiritsugu. And within that brief time, he trained the kid and taught him how to fight. Before his death, he passed his Magic Circuits to the boy and lost all his Magic. Shirou never knew that his Father was already prepared. Kiritsugu knew that after he passed his Magic Circuits to the Kid, he will die sooner. He passed his hope that left on him to his foster son.

"I will be a Hero of Justice for you."

At his last moment, he recalled what Shirou said long time ago.

After his Father's death, Shirou Emiya was taken cared by Fujimura's family. Shirou doesn't want to leave their home where he and his Father lived for a long time. He wanted to treasure everything his Father left.

Day by day, His elementary teacher Taiga Fujimura visits her to check if he's okay. Kiritsugu's savings are getting low. Shirou needs to find a job to earn money so that he could continue his studies.

He admired his father so much. That when his Father died, he felt depressed and alone. He's been happy before when his father was around. But now that his father died, he forgets all the emotion he had. He became slave by his own ideals. He firmly believes that he had to sacrifice himself for the sake of many.

When he sees someone needing help, not thinking twice, he will definitely do it.

For the past five years he lived just like that. Without his family, and the one who saved him, he couldn't find meaning of his life. He puts his enjoyment in doing chores and repairs.

He entered the Archery range where he once practiced his Archery Skills. The place is so neat because he cleaned the place everyday. He took the bow and attempt to project an arrow but when he closed his eyes, it is not the arrow pictured his mind. It is the image of his past. The burning inferno that killed his parents and the Death of his Father.

He dropped down his bow and sat on the floor. Looking at the clouds, he wondered why everyone he loves died. Tears fall down from his eyes.

Back to the Present...

"Hello Brother, Miss me?"

A white-haired girl appeared before them, while the gate is closing by her.

"Trace On!"
