Fated to loving you

Li residence inside the living room.

Li Wei is sitting couch in the living room as his mother call him to come visit. Listening to his mother babbling to herself. But his mind was somewhere else.

"Li Wei are you listening to me."

"Uuumm." He was still in his thoughts.

" I said that I arranged a blind date for you at Sky restaurant tomorrow night."

" Mmm You what?" He snapped out of his thoughts.

" You were not listening to me. See!"

"Sorry mom!" He respond sincerely as he did not mean to speak loud at the present of his mother. Their family rule was alway to respectelders and she was his mother that he care for after all. Even though that his mother have been on his case since the accident. It scared her a lot and his father but he know it is coming from a good place.

" It is okay but do not do that again."

"She is the daughter of president of the Zhang Trading, Zhang Min. The meeting will be hold at the Sky restaurant."

" Mom but."

"No buts!"

He sighted as he got a super busy daytomorrow and does not have time for this. He does not like all those dolls up woman that are fake and just chasing him because of his money. He will just go and leave right away.

His mother walks out of the room. Let him think about her suggestion. This is the first time that she brought an idea like this as before she leaved him to do as he pleased.

The rain was pouring hard outside with a little wind. Wang Chong was stuck in traffic but finally arrive at the door of the restaurant. He tells Ruo Chen to pick him up later and gets out of the car.

Chao restaurant

Wang Chong walks in and close his umbrella. He spots his friend sitting at their usual spot close to the window. As he walks to where his friend is the waitress saw him and recognize him. The waitress is the daughter-in-law of the owner of the restaurant. She greets him happily.

" Wang Chong, What took you so long. I thought that you stood me up." Li Qiang said as he hadto waited 10 long minutes for his old friend to just arrive.

" I was stuck in traffic." Wang Chong response as he was happy to finally meet his old friend after long time.

The owner daughter-in-law walks to their table to take their order.

"We will get our usual order."

" Coming up right aways Sirs."

" I have see on the news that your grandson is doing great this days. So you got nothing to worry about."

" Let not talk of that brat. He does not listen to me or his parents suggestions."

" Do not said that you should be proud of his achievements. Young people this day want to make their own choices. We have to support so that they grow and make decisions themselves. Today world is not like the one that we grown up in. Just like my granddaughter, I support her in her decisions but give her my suggestions as she grows herself to be more confident. She very determine and wants to shoulder everything since the accident. So I try to just be there for her. She is as stubborn as her father was."

" How are you two doing? "

" I guess it will get better soon."

" I just want to let you know that you still got your old friend here. If you need anything I am here. Sorry for your lost."

" Thanks it mean a lot ."

Li Qiang hesitate but told his friend what he wanted to tell him in the phone. Something are better told face to face than on the phone. " My grandson was also involved in that accident but his injuries were not serious."

"What your grandson? Was he the other survivor that was admitted at the hospital."

" Yes that was him. We were all scared of the chain of events that happened."

" Wang Fang wanted to meet the other survivor. But he transferred just before she wakes up."

" Your granddaughter is beautiful and intelligent. Very capable too. Maybe we should introduce the two to each other. They also maybe have a lot in commons. They are around the same age and if it works out for them than we will be one big family." Li Qiang say as he smile to himself of his brilliant idea. His friend granddaughter is more than qualified to be Mrs.Li. She is the CEO of Wang Group at the age of 18 years old and is even more qualified than his grandson.

" I will ask her and see if she agrees. "

" Did you investigated the cause of the accident? " Li Qiang bring up what he really want to talk to him about. As he is sad for his friend and want to help him.

" Yes but no luck so far as too know the mastermind as someone wanted to kill my family members. The vehicle that cause the accident was destroyed behind a old factory just outside of the city. I am still looking into this and also Wang Fang too as she will not move on before knowing who it was."

" Let all share our founding as Li Wei is also looking into. We will find who and get them."

" Here is your order. Sirs!" The owner daughter-in-law comes to their table with bottles of Wines.

" Let drink like old times." The two drink until they are drunk.
