"Li Xiwang..."

He opened his eyes and was immediately blinded by a bright light, a figure stepped in front of the light making him look up.

Before him was a young woman, her long brown hair looked soft as it flew with the wind, her light blue robe tied with a white belt made her look ethereal. In her hand was a lotus blossom and a peach.

Who is this woman? and how did she manage to enter the dream prison so easily.

"Li Xiwang, get up" the woman commanded, he found himself on his feet, is this woman a heavenly deity?

"W-Who are you?" He asked. She only smiled in response. Her hand stuck out for him to hold.

He looked at it, should he trust this person? What if it's a trap, would he survive?

"Where are you taking me? Tell me first"

She put a finger on her lips and held his wrist, sparks ran over his body and the hair on the back of his neck stood up, the power this woman possessed is something he had never felt before.

Knowing that he wouldn't get a response, he let himself be pulled away by the lady, the dark void of the dream prison seemed to change in colour, the once black space was now becoming clear as a sunny day.

So he was being saved. He smiled thankfully.

"Thank you, i appreciate the help"

She nodded and pointed to a house, the wooden shack looked rundown, who lived there?

He walked towards the house and his back was slapped so hard he fell to the ground and immediately knocked unconscious.

The people of WangShi jaizu were furious, their leaders were dead and their so called crowned Prince was no where to be seen.

They demanded a solid leader and fortunately for them, someone stepped forward to take the role, it was Wang Jun's nephew and Wang Zunyan's first cousin, Wang Zhao Yi.

Zhao Yi is well known for his looks, the man could make everyone swoon for him and surprisingly, most of them were men. From his small eyes to his full lips, his long hair that was always tied in a raised ponytail tied with a yellow ribbon, his robe style was always bright colors, his favorite was the yellow one his mother had made for him, the robe had the sect symbol sown on the back delicately.

On his ascension to the throne, the people were happy, Wang Zhao Yi is also well known for his well temperament and great leading skills when he was at the inner disciple training, so having him was a great sigh of relief for the people of WangShi jaizu.

That day the sky was clear and the weather favourable, the sect officials decided that even the heavens were in favour of his ascension.

A day after, Zhao Yi sent a decree to the people, the city was now named Qin Jan Qi. At first it was odd for the people to get used to the name but as time passed, they got used to it.

A year later he sent another decree, he wanted to take in a wife. This made the people even more happy, their leader was planning on continuing the family name, what an honorable man! He was praised and gifts were sent to him at the palace.

Little did they know that the said wife would be none other than Liu Yang herself.

The two got married on a rainy day, the sect officials declared that the rain was a blessing from the heavens to show that after the rain stops, grass will grow and the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom and so shall their marriage.

Wang Zunyan was nowhere to be seen, after apologizing to Li Jie for bringing an intruder to the sect, he went ahead and left without a trail.

Rumours had been that he was now a beggar in the city alleys.

Zhang Shi sect is now considered a school of martial arts and the main city was now named Zhang Cheng Zhi.

Li Shizu sect was now in the upper ranks thanks to their sect leader Li Jie, his mastery of the mind and soul helped him overcome few obstacles that stood in his way.

The main city of Li Shizu sect was now renamed to be known as Liu Shen.

No one dared to mention Li Xiwang in the presence of Li Jie as his already weak body will age three times more because of the sorrow he burdened deep inside his heart.

Eventually he stopped meditating and was now weak and feeble, however no one knew about this as when the time risen for him to stand up as a sect leader, he did that with no fault.

Li Qiang and Li Jun were now promoted to be the sect leader's subordinates, their positions made them wear heavy robes and headpieces but they didn't mind.

Eventually, Days turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to years. And just like that eight years had passed.

It was dark but he could hear clearly, was he in the dream prison again? Something soft poked his cheek making him furrow his brows.

"He's alive, should we wake him up?" A voice asked, the person sounded like his age mate. Another voice spoke up,

"I'll get the water"

He tried to open his eyes but they were too heavy, they wouldn't dare to pour water on a high official like him would they?

That's when he felt it, the warm liquid splashed on his face, yet he didn't get wet, the water just slid off his skin like morning dew on a lotus plant leaf.

"Oh? Did you see that? He seems to be caked in makeup. that makes the water slide right off, Fei fan get more water, this time pour it on his torso."

What? No, he had to wake up, he moved his mouth and only one sound came out, it was a hoarse groan.

"He's waking up!"

Eventually he opened his eyes after a few minutes, he looked around and decided to sit up, he then saw them, the two looked really dirty and poor, was he in a village?

"W-Who are you?" he asked weakly. The two males looked at each other. Li Xiwang could tell they were not siblings so what were they, friends?

They varied in looks, the other one had a quite chubby face, his rosy cheeks and dimples made him resemble a toddler, the other had a more stone face look, his lips were on a thin line and his eyebrows twitched now and then, was he agitated?

The chubby faced one spoke up first.

"I'm Li Fei fan, we live here in Liu Shen city"

Liu Shen city? Where the hell was he? He cleared his throat and spoke up again.

"Eh...which sect is this if I may ask"

The agitated one scoffed.

"We are in Li Shizu sect of course, did you hit your head or something?"

Li Shizu sect had renamed the main city?

He watched as Fei fan swatted the agitated one's arm.

"Forgive him, he is in a bad mood today, his name is Li Gong sun"

He nodded and sat on the lotus position, he had to check his core, that woman had struck him so hard he fell unconscious, it had never happened to him before.

He closed his eyes and felt a burning sensation on his core, the energy he was feeling was too intense, he is sure his power was doubled, or tripled, he opened his eyes in shock.

Fei fan and Gong sun starred at him with odd looks, who was this man and why is he meditating right before them?

"Ehhh, my friend, you shouldn't really do that out here, you should head inside" Fei fan said making Gong sun roll his eyes.

"You invite any man you see inside huh? How many were there before me"

Li Xiwang felt uncomfortable, so these two were....a couple? He cleared his throat.

"Thank you for the hospital, i will go home now"

Fei fan stood up in a hurry.

"Home? Are you from here?"

"Mn, I live in the Xiangyun Pavilion"

He woke up to the sound of people cheering in the market, he put on his rice farmer hat. With his head down, made his way there.

"The empress announced that she is now expecting a child for the emperor"

"Really? Wow that Wang Zhao Yi is very fast"

"It's about time, eight years of marriage and no child made things difficult for them"

He scoffed, that marriage is a sham, even a blind man could see that. He walked out of Qin Jan Qi city in silence.

Yuecheng lake

The net was thrown on the water and the man waited patiently for the fish to swim right into his trap. He sighed and closed his eyes leaning against the boat ore.

The water rippled and his boat moved slightly. The fisherman stood up to his feet to see what had caused it, suddenly a brown haired man emerged in the middle of the lake, his white robe gleaming in the sun light, his eyes flashed blue for a moment and he walked on water, his bare feet causing small waves with each step, the trees shook aggressively as he walked to the shore. What was this? It looked like a ghost, his eyes looked more carefully at the approaching ghost, this was no ghost, that looked like....the man gasped and screamed out loud.

"The ghost of Li Xiwang!"
