Wang Jing was going to the throne room, she tripped on her own foot and fell down, she looked at the floor and saw no obstacle on her way.

Her heart started to race, something must have happened to her son. She stood up and ran towards the city gates.

The people watched as their Empress ran off, was she under attack? Did she and the emperor have a fight?

"Wang Zunyan!" She cried out as she ran off, she doesn't know where he is, where would she even start?

She reached the cliff of Qingcheng mountain and called out as loud as she could.

"Wang Zunyan!"

He groaned and opened his eyes, he found himself inside the trunk mountain cave and he sighed.

"So it was a dream"

"I wouldn't call it a dream" a voice said at the entrance.

There stood a young man, his cat like eyes starring deep into his soul, he stood up and walked up to him.

"Who are you?"

The young man frowned.

"Wang Zunyan...don't you remember me? I'm Li Xiwang, the one you love"

He stepped back, Li Xiwang? Why did he look different?

"You must be thinking why I look different, this body isn't mine, i possessed it, the shell will break away in a few days"

Li Xiwang? Alive? And reincarnated? He smiled with teary eyes.

"You came back, I knew that Shangxin was lying"

"Mn....Ah Zun...what are you doing here?"

He sighed, it was story telling time it seems, so he told him everything. After he was done Li Xiwang was shocked.

"Exile? Just like that?"

He nodded.

Li Jie and Li Qiang were at Yuecheng lake, since they killed the creature the lake was now safe again.

"I don't get it, why did this creature come here?" Li Jie asked, it seems just bizarre to have a creature like this pop up out of nowhere.

"I don't know, i will do more research"

"Very well, have Li Jun and her team guard the lake tonight, i don't want any surprises"

"Yes sir"

The two went different routes, Li Jie sighed as he passed by his son's private chambers, he slid the doors open and walked inside.

The bright red hand fan on the bed made him smile. He remembers the first time he gave the fan to Li Xiwang, he was so excited and a day after he stopped his sword practice and started using the fan more and more.

"Ah Xi....why did you kill yourself?"

He closed the fan and placed it on the bed, just in case his son comes back.

"Sect leader you have visitors"

He sighed and closed the door.

"Let's go then"

He made his way inside Xiangyun Pavilion, there was Wang Zunyan and a young man. He sat down in the Xiangyun chair.

"Childe Wang? What brings you here?"

"This person next to me....is Li Xiwang"

Zhang lei Wang and Liu Wei cackled in victory, the wine cups clanged once in awhile as they cheered for their victory.

"That Li Na was so weak, most powerful water master my ass!" Liu Wei said laughing.

"How did you kill her anyways? I doubt a mere spirit power block can kill a strong woman like her"

He placed the cup on the table.

"Burp!......when a creature sent her flying I was her doctor, i sent Li Xiwang to get some herbs and when he was gone i slipped a little potion into the brew"

"And what was that?"

"I'm not telling you, that potion is so rare to find you might steal it all"

Zhang lei Wang chuckled.

"Fine don't tell me, you managed to kill her that's what matters, so my friend tell me what do we do now?"

He smirked.

"We go after WangShi Jaizu"

Li Qiang was making his way to Lianmin library when someone flew out the doors of Xiangyun Pavilion. He gasped.

"What the..."

Wang Zunyan was furious, he held Li Jie's hand..

"What are you doing he is your son!"

He scoffed.

"That boy is not my son, he couldn't even answer simple questions like when is your mother's birthday, what kind of son doesn't know that!"

Everyone's attention went to the young man who stood up, he spit blood to the ground and shape shifted into a large snake.

Wang Zunyan felt stupid, he knew it was too good to be true and he still went ahead with it.

"Who are you?"

Li Jie clasped his hands and when they pulled away a crystal staff emerged. Li Qiang also drew his sword.

The snake hissed and slithered towards the lake.

"Stop it!"

Li Jun turned to face the commotion and was face to face with a large greenish grey snake, her fast sword was struck deep inside the belly of the snake making it fall backwards and shapeshift into a man again, this time it was an elderly man.

"Please, have mercy" he begged. Li Jie held the end of his staff at the man's neck.

"Who are you and who sent you?"

"The two old men sent me, they told me to shapeshift into Li Xiwang and trick the crowned Prince, they wanted to distract you so they could attack WangShi Jaizu"

Chills ran up his spine after hearing that, his mother was in danger.

"Sect leader Li Jie, can you borrow me your general"

"Mn, hurry before you are too late"

The two youngsters maneuvered the sword and went towards WangShi jaizu.

Li Qiang turned to Li Jie.

"What do we do with him?"

Li Jie pushed the man to the ground, his staff pressing on his throat.

"Evildoers will die at my hands, no matter who they are"

The man's neck broke with a loud crack, his eyes rolled back into his skull as his soul left his body.

"Hang him by the legs, let the wolves devour his filthy body"

Wang Jing made her way to the palace in disappointment, she just wants her son back.

She froze when she heard people screaming inside the city, using her air magic she blasted the doors open and what she saw broke her heart, her people laid dead on the ground, the smell of dust mixed in with the heavy scent of blood.

She drew her sword, the bright pink handle matching with her robe, she charged towards the palace.

"Empress, don't go in there" a voice weakly whispered, it was Wang Yun, his face was smeared with blood and he was missing three fingers on his right hand what made the Empress's heart sink was his missing legs.

"What happened?” she asked.

"I don't know, we were just doing our daily tasks and we saw flashing swords in the sky, then arrows fell down, they were so many....people fell dead to the ground and this woman came inside the palace, her sword was too fast for us to see, it cut everything in it's path"

She frowned, a woman did this? Who was it? She stood up and kicked the door open. She froze.

Wang Jun's body was hanged on the ceiling, his ears were cut out. She then heard a cackle.

"He didn't listen to you so I took away his ears" the female said, she was sitting on the mighty throne of WangShi Jaizu.

She shivered in distaste.

"Who are you! Why are you doing this!"

The person stood up form the throne and walked down the set of stairs, her hair was tied up perfectly into a ponytail and her dark blue robe made her look sophisticated on her face was a silver mask.

"Sect leaders like you deserve my respect, Empress Wang Jing i suggest you run away before I make you join your husband"

She tightened the grip on her sword.

"Fight me"

The person took off her mystique mask off making her gasp.

"It's you?!"

Wang Zunyan and Li Jun landed at the palace entrance, they walked towards the door and froze, there laid Wang Yun on his own pool of blood.

"Wang Yun"

"No time, we have to save your mother" Li Jun said heading inside. Wang Zunyan followed her and froze to the sight that was before him.

His mother getting stabbed in her heart.

"Mother!"

Wang Jing fell to the ground, it seems her mind was playing tricks on her because she swear she heard Wang Zunyan's voice.

She was held up against a warm body, the heartbeat rhythm was the only thing she needed to tell who it was.

"Ah Zun"

He closed his eyes tightly, the tears that flowed down his face landing on his mother's hand.

"Don't cry Ah Zun....remember what I said"

"Mother please, you will be okay"

She smiled weakly, her eyes became droopy as she struggled to breath.

"Ah Zun....remember what I said....I will be here to.....always cheer you on"

He felt her last breath on his cheek, the last time his mother would provide warmth to him, it was clear now, his world was falling apart.

"Mother!"

Li Jun stood frozen, in front of her was Liu Yang.

"Liu Yang....you did this?"

Liu Yang scoffed, she wiped the blood on her sword off and sheathed it, she stepped forward.

"It was me and so? Are you going to stop me?"

She held her sword at her neck.

"If I have to"

She cackled her finger slowly pushed the cold blade away.

"You don't have the courage to do so"

She was right, she didn't have the courage, not because she was afraid, but because she couldn't hurt the person she loved, a lone tear rolled down her cheek and she stepped aside.

"See? I knew it" Liu Yang said walking out, before she could exit Li Jun spoke up.

"Next time....I won't hesitate, I will kill you Liu Yang"
