Chapter 91: birthday party

  Chapter 91 Birthday Party

Ronald asked Jean carefully to know what his plan was.

It turns out that Gene's neighbors are actually very unfriendly to him. His mother was a dealer, and he, the dancing B-boy, was known to many neighbors as a base.

During this time, Gene only appeared at home on weekends. Many people called him a fag, and he went to work as a midnight cowherd on weekdays to earn money to buy new clothes.

Gene tried his best to confess, saying that he was making a movie in the film crew and was about to become a movie star, and Lucy also testified for him.

But none of the neighbor black boys believed him. They would rather believe the story of the midnight cowboy they imagined than believe that the boy they laughed at would become the black-skinned John Travolta.

Driven by his self-esteem, Jean made an invitation to invite everyone to his home for his birthday, and wanted his colleagues to testify for him. But I didn't expect that everyone's fear of various legends in Harlem caused today's embarrassing scene.

Ronald said he would go back with him and show his identity to his neighbors.

"It's useless, Ronnie. It's not that I don't believe in your kindness to me. It's just these 'brothers', they only believe in their own ideas, and they won't think I'm one unless I invite a few white girls to the party. It really came out on top.”

Ronald patted his shoulder and comforted Gene, and the two walked out of the shooting scene together.

Alan Parker saw the indifference of the crowd to Gene and the comfort of Ronald to him. "Where's the list for tomorrow's shoot?" he called back to the assistant director.

  …

"Our movie will start in Europe next month. If you want, you can audition with me for the heroine. I feel you are very talented."

"Antonia!" Ronald called out to Antonia, who was dodging a man's harassment on the road, "Do you want help?"

The    man was obviously of Italian descent. He took out a business card and handed it to Ronald: "Don't get me wrong, I'm a director and I just want to find your friend to make a movie. I have no ill intentions."

"If you're a film director, you should know that you can't directly contact the actors, and you should find their agent." Ronald sneered, tore his business card to shreds, and threw it on the ground.

Gene caught up from behind, outflanked the man's back path, and made a muscle show.

The man saw that he might lose, and started to back up: "No, I have no ill intentions, I just want to invite your friends to make a movie." Then he turned and walked quickly.

   "Fuxkyou" Jean gestured to him.

"Antonia, are you alright. How could this be? Isn't this the plot of the movie? Does this person want you to make that kind of movie?" Ronald was a little dumbfounded. Who knew the plot of the movie would actually happen in reality In life.

"This is our daily routine. It's very close to Times Square. I used to run into them often when I was studying at the Performing Arts High School next door.

They will follow you all the way home, but they won't use force. Just keep seducing you, if you want to be famous and fall for them, then it's similar to CoCo in the movie. "

"Why, did you also study at the Academy of Performing Arts? Why didn't I know."

"Remember when I told you that I was on 'Grease'? I was one of 10 dancers in New York who was chosen and I was only 16 and got a friend to make a fake birth certificate for the movie …”

Antonia was very talkative when she saw Ronald, and the two of them and Gene kept walking down the road to the parking lot.

"...I danced really well, and they gave me a part in it, standing behind them in the prom scene of the hero and heroine.

... Then 'Grease' was released, and the Academy of Performing Arts knew that I went to the film crew without permission while I was studying, and fired me. I got a scholarship from the American Ballet School and used the film's salary to pay for my living expenses. "

went to where Ronald parked, and the three found Lucy again. It turned out that she also came out to find Gene. The four of them looked at each other and laughed. Ronald proposed to have dinner again to celebrate Gene's birthday.

"You will succeed, Gene. I feel that this movie will be a big hit." Antonia comforted him when she found out that Gene was being treated coldly.

"Why do you say this movie will be a big hit?" Ronald asked.

"I can feel the real power of others. Director Allen is very good at distinguishing what plots are real and what plots are fake. I feel that the movie will be popular."

"Cheers!" Gene was very happy, picked up Coke and toasted with everyone. Now he loves to hear it.

"What do you think? Ronnie? Can our movie catch on?" Gene was still the most convinced of Ronald.

"I don't know if the movie will be popular, but most of the audience who came to see this kind of movie came for the hot dance songs in it. Our dance shooting today was very exciting, so the box office should be good." Rhone De forked a piece of food and put it in his mouth.

"In the movie 'Rock and Roll High School' I was a part of, every time the Ramones started to play, the audience started clapping and stomping." Ronald took another sip of Coke.

"Many audiences still come to see exciting things. For example, the powerful songs that they have never heard, and the hot dances that they have not seen, so that when they go back and recommend to their friends, they can say which song and which dance is good."

"For example, now I can tell you, 'High School of Rock,' which of the Ramones sang a good theme song, and the girls danced well in the gymnastics room, and it's worth watching. Then they'll also say , Well-known dance in the canteen."

"Then let's go see it, I didn't see it last time I wanted to see it." Antonia said.

   "4 'Rock High School' tickets."

"For you" The conductor handed out four coupons from the window.

"Are there many people watching?" Ronald wanted to inquire about the box office situation.

"Listen to yourself." The conductor pointed to the hall.

There was a rumbling stomping sound, followed by another cheer.

Is it so hot? So exciting. Ronald thought, his share looked promising.

When the four-person show started, they sat in the theater with Coke and popcorn.

The sign for "Vince Lombard High School" at the beginning of    was shot by Ronald and Cameron together. The sun shone on the teaching building, and director Alan Akush dubbed the bird call funny, as if to say "Cheap! Cheap!", satirizing Roger Coleman's stinginess.

Ronald laughed hahaha, to the point that it drew glares from the surrounding audience. Afraid that this guy was not mentally retarded, he smirked at the beginning.

"Ah, this is so beautiful." Antonia couldn't help but say it in the scene where Ronald directed the rebellious girl Liv and the school tyrant Kate walking forward in the sunset.

"Hahaha...is this mustache you? It's so funny, Ronald, you're not my type." Gene exclaimed exaggeratedly.

"Boom, the roof finally blew up, and the principal was stunned." The three of them and the audience cheered strangely together.

Ronald, who has watched it countless times, doesn't feel anything, but seeing everyone's love for certain episodes, Ronald is still quite happy.

"Ronald, it's your name, look." Antonia shook his arm and pointed to the special thanks on the screen.

"I want to put my name on the screen too." This is Gene speaking.
