Eternal Love : Reunion Of Two Souls

"Are you okay?" asked Mr.Gera while patting Aliya's back

"Y-Yes [Coughs] I feel I need to go to the washroom. Excuse me!" said Aliya while dabbing her dress.

She left the space and asked one of the hotel staff to direct her to ladies washroom. As she found it, ran inside and closed the door shut. Thankfully there was no one inside to see her like this. Aliya couldn't comprehend everything that happened. Yesterday Rishi was showing interest in her, today her mother has announced his marriage publicly. How can this be possible?

Aliya gasped and splashed some water on the small stain that was visible on her light coloured dress. She thoroughly dabbed it until it disappeared. She then took a breathe and looked at herself in the mirror.

'Didn't he know this? He never mentioned me about any marriage proposal before. But his marriage is fixed with the daughter of a diamond merchant. How can he be unaware of this?'

DINNER HAD STARTED

Rishi was busy in frantically searching for Aliya. He was so tensed up. The truth was even he didn't know about this. When he asked her mother, then she replied while laughing, "Don't remember I had said that I will be coming with a surprise? This was it." Literally, he was surprised and shocked. Her mother didn't even asked the one who is to be married if he wants to marry or not. His mind was only searching for Aliya to clear everything. But it seemed like she had left the venue long ago before the dinner. He asked one staff member if he had seen Aliya. Fortunately, he was the same person who showed Aliya the way to washroom. As soon as Rishi heard of this he ran towards ladies washroom. Co-incidentally Aliya was coming out. As she was busy checking herself, she found herself being pulled by someone. When she lokked, he was Rishi.

"RISHI! W-what are you doing? Someone might see!" warned Aliya

"Come with me!"

He dragged Aliya to an unoccupied room. He shut the door. Aliya was just gasping for air and so did Rishi. She was waiting for him to start instead of pouncing on him with her allegations

"Speak fast Rishi!"

"Yes! Yes! [Coughs] See, Aliya. Just like you even I was surprised or rather given a shock. I wasn't aware of anything like this. Trust me! My mom is just among those typical Indian rich moms who take decisions for their children without their consent. Please trust me!" Rishi nervously.

"Oh-okay. So w-why are you telling these things to me?" Aliya spoke hesitantly

Rishi furrowed his eyebrows.

"WHY!? Aren't you bothered about this?" Rishi asked in bewilderment.

"AGAIN! You hinted me by saying that I am not that dumb to understand your feelings right? And I know that you love me. Then why are you speaking this non-sense?" Rishi rebuked

"Who said that I love you?"

"What is the problem of you women? When you say 'no' that means 'yes', and when you say 'yes' that means 'no'. Now you are saying 'no' that means 'yes', you said 'yes' yesterday indirectly but that was not 'no', right?" Rishi was himself confused after uttering this 'illogical logic'

"Wh-what? I said 'yes'?" Aliya was holding her head in confusion. Then suddenly Rishi grabbed her shoulders and pushed her against the wall behind her. He leaned towards her and placed his both the palms on the wall, locking her from both sides. He tried to have an eye contact with Aliya who was ignoring his gaze. Aliya afraid to confront his anger. Of course, she was responsible for this.

"You.did.said.yes." Rishi said in anger

Aliya could sense the fast rate of his breathing. His hot breathe made her tremble. She was definitely caught while lying. She had given a hint yesterday. But her ego didn't allow her to confess. She was neither denying nor accepting the fact that she loves him.

"I-I said yes but I don't remember. If you love me, then you should have proposed me. You did nothing as such." Aliya reprimanded

"So you still have that ego problem? Well, I will satisfy your ego."

Rishi leaned closer and whispered in Aliya's left ear

"Ms. Aliya Sharma, I.... love... you. Do you love me?"

Aliya inhaled his musky body scent and closed her eyes. Her ears were in joy to hear those three magical words. While her heart paced so fast, that she could hear it. She realized he was waiting for her answer

"Yes. I love you." she whispered back in his ears

Rishi smiled and looked into her eyes and proposed

"Will you change your surname from Sharma to mine, as Aliya Singhania?"

Aliya looked into his eyes and replied with a grinning smile
