Mr.Gera was left bereft by his 'dear' sir. He looked back and saw that Aliya was indeed right. He was so busy in boasting that he didn't notice Rishi leaving.

"So you kidnapped those bastards?" Bhavna asked in amusement

"Yeah! Then Anushka arrested them. Whole nation saw the sting operation on television. We were assured by the police that they will take care now. The evidences we got has been handed over to Kashmir and Mumbai police. We will have some formalities remaining. You know that statements and all, right?" Aliya answered

"Yes, yes. But you will have court sessions to attend. Be prepared. What about uncle and aunt?"

"Rishi has already explained them everything." Aliya said this while glancing at Rishi who was still waiting for these two gossip queens to finish.

"It seems that you did nothing in the whole 2 days. So the whole credit should be given to Rishi, right? Bhavna was teasing.

"Yeah , yeah." Aliya said while rolling her eyes. It was true that Rishi didn't even allowed her to touch anything without his permission. Whenever she asked why, he would say that she was having bp problems so he couldn't take risks.

"So I think you should let him handle the case of your cousins too." Bhavna said this with a slight fear

Rishi's happiness knew no boundaries. He was so delighted to see that their 1 hour long phone conversation actually came to an end. He was grinning. When Aliya saw him smiling widely she asked

"Do you really have so much time to wait for me to end a call?"

As Rishi was leaning closer to her she stopped him

"Uh?? Bae... What?" Aliya narrowed her eyes

"B-Ba.... Nothing, hahaa, nothing. I was saying that you are my friend, sooo time, money nothing in front of you." Rishi said while changing the topic.

"Friends!? When did this happen?" Aliya said anticipating what he will answer.

"Then we must be friends, right?" Rishi said while looking down and cursing himself inwardly for attempting such childish tricks.

"Friends? I thought of something else." Aliya said teasingly

"W-what you thought?" Rishi looked up at her

"That thing, an hour ago you said, 'I am besides you' and 'Will you be a part of my life'.... Everything, was because you want me as your friend?" She stressed on the word friend deliberately

"N-NO! I mean... uhh..... w-what did you understand by those statements?" Rishi asked her

Aliya made a 'humph' and started walking towards her car. Rishi didn't understood what wrong he had asked. Before opening the door of her car, Aliya looked at Rishi and said

"YOU ARE NOT THAT DUMB MR.CEO!!"

Aliya started the engine and left the basement, while Rishi was not accepting the fact that she too felt the same what he was feeling for her all this time. It was unbelievable for him.
