Divine Beast Tamer

The loud roar had awakened Freya from her sleep, which really annoyed her so much.

She flew to the direction of the roar as if she wanted to beat the crap out of the beast who had disturbed her sleep.

As Ronald saw Freya flew away, he immediately followed after her.

By the time Freya arrived at the place where the roar come from, she immediately hid within the bushes, as if she didn't want to be seen by something.

Ronald was curious as to what happened to Freya when he saw this scene, so he took a peek behind the bushes and saw two familiar girls.

One girl was covered in blood as she fought the beast with all her might, but it can be clearly observed that the beast was just playing with her.

While the other girl was crying while lying on the roots of a large tree. There was a very large hole on her right shoulder that was still gushing with blood, which caused her face to pale as she was crying. These two women were Arisa and Lily.

Ronald was surprised when he saw those two, though she didn't like Arisa due to her personality, Lily had made a good impression to him.

Ronald thought the pros and cons of helping them.

"Freya can you beat that big guy over there?", Ronald asked Freya to clarify some things.

After Freya heard Ronald, she took her gaze away from the battle and then nodded to Ronald before she took her gaze back to the battle again.

"Freya let's help them then. You want to beat that big guy that disturb your rest, right?"

Hearing Ronald's question Freya looked alternately between Ronald, the huge beast, and Arisa before she nodded her head.

As a beast that has the blood of the dragon flowing within her being, she really liked to sleep, and those that would disturb her sleep would receive her anger.

Although she didn't like Arisa, the anger she felt for the beast was greater than her dislike for Arisa, so she agreed to what Ronald said and immediately came out of the bushes.

Seeing Freya's action, Ronald immediately decided to go to the tree where Lily was lying.

Upon arriving Ronald whispered something to Selena who was currently hiding inside his armor.

Lily was very shocked when she saw Ronald coming to her, she wanted to tell Ronald to run away, and leave her alone, but no sound came out of her mouth, all she can do was to cry.

On Freya's side, Arisa was shocked when she saw a small white creature flying above the beast's head and slapped it with its small paw.

The beast was immediately thrown away from where it was standing and crashed into the trees that were around them.

The beast was very confused about what had happened to it, as it only saw a small white creature appeared near its head and then it immediately flew away from the creature.

On Ronald's side, a silver light came out from Ronald's armor and entered Lily's body, then a silver light encapsulated her body. As fast as it appeared, the light immediately disappeared after shining for not more than a second.

Lily was shocked by the light entering her body, that vanished immediately after, as it vanished, she felt a very cool sensation all over her body, removing all her tiredness.

After feeling the cool sensation, she then checked the large hole on her shoulder and saw that the hole had already disappeared and was replaced by a new jade white skin.

Noticing this change, she immediately looked at Ronald's face, but Ronald was not looking at her, therefore, she followed Ronald's gaze and saw a scene that really shocked her. The little tiger that was sleeping on Ronald's head at their first meeting was currently standing above the beast that caused the destruction of their whole team, even Arisa's bodyguard died during their escape.

The beast wasn't dead yet, as it was clearly breathing.

From their place, Ronald and the other two female only heard Freya let out a cute roar and although it doesn't sound threatening at all or something, a clear fear was clearly seen in the beast's eyes, as it trembled beneath Freya's feet.

After roaring, Freya growled to the beast as if she was talking to it, the beast also growled back to Freya. After some time, the two stopped growling as if they came into a decision, the beast which was on Freya's feet nodded its head at a very fast speed before Freya jumped on the ground. Feeling that Freya wasn't standing above it anymore, the beast immediately stood up and bolted away, running as if its life depends on it.

Ronald checked the stats of the escaping beast and knew why Freya let the beast go.

But to clearly know the whole reason, Ronald went and asked Lily on what had really happened.

And through her Ronald knew the whole thing that happened.

The Earth Qilin wasn't really a beast that they encountered accidentally, they had already discovered it 5 months ago. But at that time, the Earth Qilin only thought of escaping when it encountered them, so they thought that there was something wrong with it or maybe it was not an Earth Qilin. So they decided to bring an appraiser within their group, and at their second encounter of the Earth Qilin, the appraiser said that it was really an Earth Qilin that had just been born. Therefore it still doesn't have a clear view of how strong it was. One of Freya's adviser said that it would be the best chance to tame it, as it was still weak and knew nothing about the world.

Freya listened to her advisor and decided to tame it, she was also attracted to the earth Qilin's cute and lovely appearance.

They had continued chasing it until this day came, they had cornered the Earth Qilin. At first, the Earth Qilin seems very easy to deal with, as they easily brought it down to the ground and restricted its movement then waited for Freya to form a contract with it, but when Arisa came near it, the Earth Qilin used a skill to increase its size and immediately grew several times bigger than what it used to be.

At first, its size was only about Freya's size, but after a moment it had already grown into a 10-meter tall huge beast and attacked them. The sudden attack caused many of them to die within its claws, and that was the start of their nightmare.

Freya sympathized with the Earth Qilin, as they both have the same life experience. During Freya's talked with the Earth Qilin, the Qilin also mentioned what happened to its parents before it encountered Arisa's group.

Its father was ambushed by a group of strong humans while protecting the entrance of the cave where its mother was giving birth to it. The battle continued for days, and its father was immediately killed.

After her mother gave birth to the baby Earth Qilin, its mother used a skill and used her whole energy detonating herself while protecting the baby Earth Qilin, killing herself and those humans that had survived after its father's battle.

The Qilin didn't saw all the things that happened, but it felt the vibrations in the air and heard the strong explosion and the shout of humans due to their fear.

After some days, the baby Earth Qilin finally opened its eyes and saw its messy surroundings and the remains of its mother and father bodies.

It connected all the pieces of information that it gathered and arrived at a conclusion that humans are scary and must be avoided, but it promised to itself that it would become stronger than those humans who caused the death of its father and mother, then make its revenge.

Thinking of these things, Freya let the baby Earth Qilin go.
