Dear Young Master, Spare Me Please?

"you'll be my daughter-in-law. you'll marry my little zi."

'daughter-in-law…marry little zi…daughter-in-law…marry…little zi…daughter..' those two sentences keep on repeating on han meixiu's mind. it was as if she's trying to digest the information that sounded like a joke. if it was only her aunt yi min inside the room she might have thought it's one of her pranks but with the presence of mr. liu as well as this intimidating man, liu zijian, she highly doubted it. but the big question was, "why?" she uttered the word softly with confusion. she didn't mostly comprehend the other words madam liu said.

seeing her discomfort and confusion, mr. liu stood up and said, "i think it's better for the two of you to discuss this first." he then looked at his wife and gave a subtle warning to 'break it to her gently.' he signaled his son to follow him.

though liu zijian was a little hesitant and wanted to stay to see the woman's reaction ,he still obeyed and went out of the office. he'll have his time later on.

when the two left, han meixiu relaxed a little. she looked at madam liu with full of bafflement.

didn't they cooperate to save her from an upcoming marriage? didn't they join hands together to 'punish' her son for being giving her headaches? didn't they also agree that after the deed has been done successfully they will just forget about it?

where did the idea of marrying the second master of liu family come from? why all of a sudden?

well, compared to her previous fiancé, at least she's familiar with liu zijian though she mostly knew him thru second hand information. as her thoughts continued to jumble up madam liu started to explain.

'so it wasn't successful.' she laughed dryly inside. she actually has suspicion that something might come up since it was way too easy to escape. in the end her intuition was right and cousin yu had to help out. how naïve of her to think she could outsmarted that old man.

han meixiu continued to be silent. madam liu on the other hand started to think how to convince her soon to be daughter-in-law.

"think about this, my son isn't a bad choice. though he's a little exhausting to fathom in most cases, he can protect you plus isn't he gorgeous? both i and my husband have good genes. well, especially me."

meixiu smiled lightly. she knew aunt yi min was trying to lighten up her mood. physically speaking, liu zijian was in deed an exceptional choice as a husband. she's sure that majority of the female population would definitely want to be his wife but because of his frosty demeanor and snob personality he's really difficult to approach. it's like there's always a thick invisible barrier around him.

"we will become your family. i'm really an excellent mom, you know?" she added.

'family.mom' those two words seemed connected for most people but for han meixiu, they're totally unrelated. it's not bad having a mom and dad but a husband? it's kind of hard to imagine.

"aunt, why don't you just adopt me as your daughter?"

"no! something already happened between the two of you. you already marked each other. siblings don't do that! that's incest and is against my basic principle." madam liu exaggeratedly insisted. "it is only normal for of you to be responsible for each other so marriage is inevitable." she added.

"but aunt, it was you who told me to bite him in the first place." han meixiu reasoned out.

"my dear, you wanted it, too. come on! i saw your 'work'. you didn't hold back." she said and started to smile wickedly. "who knows maybe you did more than i told you to…"

han meixiu blushed as she remembered that she in deed kiss the sleeping liu zijian. but she would never admit it. besides she thought they wouldn't be seeing each other again, much more ended up getting married.

"can i think about it a little longer?" she needed time to clear her mind and weigh the pros and cons of this matter.

"what else would you think about? no matter which angle we look, getting married to little zi is the best choice you have right now." madam liu would not give han meixiu more time to ponder. this girl might think of another plan to escape. she should settle this as soon as possible. her instinct was telling her that if they prolong this issue, han meixiu might disappear.

"okay." she resignedly said.

"that settles it. i'll call little zi so you kids can talk." she immediately said and was trying to contain her brimming excitement and happiness. she stood up and almost ran towards the door to look for the two men.

being alone inside the room, han meixiu still couldn't believe how fast the incident escalated. she jolted up when she heard the door opened and closed. her body instantly tensed up. 'what are we going to talk about?' she was cracking her brain on how to start a conversation when she was pulled up by liu zijian and was looked at. out of habit when meeting him. she instantly lowered her head to avoid his gaze.

with a single finger, he lifted her face. she avoided the eye contact and looked sideways. she couldn't really muster the courage to directly meet his eyes.

"look at me." he said. without much of a choice, she slowly moved her eyes and prepared to fight against those mesmerizing and dangerous eyes.

liu zijian was observing his soon-to-be wife and was quite amused with her reaction. her dazzling eyes contained several emotions seemed to enthrall him.

she was obviously nervous as she started to bit her lower lips. his attention then went to her plump and luscious lips.

back in the c&e office, he already wanted to know how it would feel to kiss those tempting reddish pink piece of flesh. he didn't have enough time then, but now he has.
