Crimson's Revenge

After a few minutes, Reen being not in the mood to read anything anymore she went out the library and went to its adjacent café. She ordered an Earl Grey lemon cheesecake accompanied by an order of Earl grey tea.

While waiting for her tea to cool down as she has a cat's tongue [1] she then thought back to what happened a few minutes ago.

She knew her excuse was only half true. After getting her memories back regardless of what he does or says the carrots are cooked [2]. She can't involve him into "that" world, he deserves someone better she repeatedly tried to convince herself.

While she was having these thoughts her phone rang.

"Hello?" she answered distractedly not even looking at the caller's name.

"Reen? Are you done with your errand?" Hue asked

"Yup I am. I'm about to take a cab to get home." Hearing Hue's voice made snapped her back to reality.

"Don't bother, I'll just fetch you. Where are you now?"

"You don't-"She was about to protest but thought better of it. She wasn't really in the mood to argue.

"Let's just meet up outside the library door where you dropped me off a couple of hours ago."

"Alright then, see you in around 30 minutes depending on the traffic." Hue seems to be in a hurry so she stopped herself from saying anything else and hanged up the phone after saying goodbye.

She started walking back to the library a few minutes after eating her cake and drinking her tea, she knew that her uncle and aunt where still a bit worried about her that's why their extra protective than normal now.She smiled at the thought while squeezing her pendant.

After waiting for about 30 minutes, Hue and Wisteria arrived. Getting inside the car she noticed that the two were not was acting kinda weird.

She could feel that both were distracted and Hue occasionally emitting a dark aura. Finally unable to control herself she asked them what's wrong as soon as they stopped at next stop light.

As though finally noticing her for the first time, Wisteria turned and looked at her from the front seat leaning her body towards her and the windshield behind her while Hue sighed and looked at her through the review mirror.

"Your uncle called, he wanted to have a get together…" Wisteria hesitantly said while Reen nodded to indicate she was listening…

"Huh uh.. That's seem to be normal? So why are you…" as though realizing something her gaze sharpened as she stared at Wisteria's eyes, Wisteria nodded to her silent assumption.

"Alright, I'll call him later to say I'll be going." She said chillingly

Upon her agreement, a heavy murderous intent slowly emitted from her body.
