Create the Age of Magic

Chapter 107: The Beginning of the Gray Tower

Kenny is a witch and a slave.

More than a month ago there was little hope in his life.

Until he was bought by a new owner who called himself Horn Memherin.

He cleared Kenny of the slave mark and freed him, giving him the power to defy fate.

But Kenny didn't need that power.

He just wanted to find a place to live in peace, and he didn't care about witches or magicians.

As long as he is not a slave, he is content.

He found a job as a coolie in that city, which was tiring but fulfilling.

He also met with a widow who lived nearby, and it seemed that a new family was about to be formed.

As for the distribution of the so-called basic magic manual that Horn requested, he just found a hidden place to put it away and ignored it.

Because life is hard to come by now, he doesn't want to take the risk of contacting other witches.

As for everything that Horn taught him, he did not implement it, because the easy life was hard to come by.

But this world is not a stable life if you want to live a stable life.

His fantasy of a better life in the future was completely shattered in just one month.

Because he happened to be seen by the passing slave merchant who sold him when he was working!

When a normal slave is sold, it has nothing to do with the merchant, and how the slave is handled is the buyer's business, and he will not want to take the slave back.

But he noticed that the slave mark on Kenny's face had disappeared!

The disappearance of the slave mark is more noticeable than the escape of the slave itself!

Kenny actually discovered the slave traders, but he naively thought that since he was no longer a slave, he no longer had to be afraid of those traders.

But he didn't expect that he would be attacked by the slave hunting team of the slave merchant that night, in a city that should be absolutely safe!

If he hadn't remembered Horn's words and placed a few oak staffs beside the bed, he would have been caught by now.

But it was also exposed that he was a witch.

And the pursuit of him by the slave merchants who were afraid of the church and dared not let go has also become apparent.

After all, wild witches are not protected by the church, and the church even sent people to hunt him down.

The life that could have seen a beautiful future was shattered like a dream bubble.

Only then did he discover,

The shackles called slaves and witches have never disappeared, but he has been turning a blind eye.

But being a wild witch has good things, right? At least this power can allow him to repel the pursuit of the slave owner.

Although he is facing more crazy attacks now, people who have been submissive and people who have resisted are completely different.

But after all, he was just a wild witch with one ring, and the slave catcher team had no chance of winning against the slave owner.

One second-level fighter, two first-level fighters, and a dozen elite cavalry are more than enough to deal with Kenny.

Kenny headed towards Maman City in a panic.

He could hardly run anymore. How could a witch outrun a horse?

If you continue to run, there may be a turning point. Once you stop, there is no hope at all!

He ran in front, and the slave owner's slave hunting team rode behind slowly, chatting as they walked.

He even opened a handicap to see when Kenny would fall.

For Kenny, things that are about life and death are just a symbol of some gold coins and a little talk for them.

Their hearts were blackened long before they turned the first innocent into a slave.

...

At this moment, a group of more than 20 people in gray robes with pointed hats were standing on the mound beside the road and looking out.

Standing at the front were a grown man with long red hair exposed under a pointed hat and a boy of twelve or thirteen years old.

The boy suddenly stretched out and grabbed the corner of the adult man's clothes, pointed his right hand in Kenny's direction and said in a low voice:

"Ahead, witch."

The man stretched out his hand and rubbed the boy's hair and said with a smile:

"Really? This is good news. How many people are there?"

"Only the front one is a wild witch. The other three fighters are one at level two and two at level one. The rest are ordinary people."

There were no pupils in the boy's eyes, but only light blue whites, in which words flashed faintly.

There was no trace of emotion in his tone or face, the man had long been familiar with this child.

Soon, two groups of people encountered each other.

The staggering Kenny was supported by the man in the gray robe, who smiled softly at Kenny as a comfort.

Then he said to the slave catchers who were chasing after him, "Brother, can you save me and let him go?"

"Who are you? This is a lost slave from our slave group. What does it have to do with you?"

The man in the gray robe glanced at Kenny's face. There was only a trace of indiscernible marks on his cheeks, and there was no trace of a slave being a slave.

"The slave should have a slave mark on his body, but this gentleman doesn't have a slave mark on his body."

The second-level soldier who took the lead said violently: "I say yes, don't meddle in your own business!"

"Since he is a slave, can you let me buy it? Generally, such weak male slaves are at most 50 gold coins, and I will give you 60 gold coins, can you sell him to me?"

The voice of the gray-robed man was pleasant, and seemed to have a sense of rhythm, which was an ability he had cultivated when he was a bard to make a living.

They wanted to catch Kenny not to make that little money, but to find out why his slave mark disappeared, which was not something that could be solved by a mere sixty gold coins.

The second-level soldier jumped off his horse and said fiercely to the man in the gray robe:

"It's impossible for this guy to sell it to you. If you're sensible, get out of here. If you don't, we'll be rude."

"That's it, I'm Ivan Seriol."

The man in the gray robe took off his pointed hat and chuckled at the second-level soldier. His fiery red hair was very dazzling in the sun.

"What?" The second-level soldier didn't understand what he meant.

But the people in gray robes behind Ivan took out a small wooden stick and pointed it at the members of the slave catcher team.

"I am a witch, determined to pursue the great magic teacher Horn Memherin, so I established the Gray Tower."

The slave hunting team talked a lot. Is this red-haired man crazy?

Just say you're a witch, okay?

But since he is a wild witch, there is nothing to say. The slave catchers all jumped off their horses and took out their weapons to arrest Ivan.

If Kenny also has some research value because of the disappearance of the slave mark on his face, they have decided to send Ivan to the church to be burned to death.

Isn't it courting death for a wild witch to dare to be so arrogant in front of them?

But before they started to make a move, the fronts of the small wooden sticks in the hands of more than 20 men in gray robes behind Ivan all lit up with various lights.

These people are all witches!

"I will be the protector of my fellow men, and my punisher, I am, the magician!"

As soon as his words fell, flames, wind blades, flying stones, and water polos all came crashing down!

The second-level soldier just wanted to get out of the way, but found that the ground under his feet turned into a swamp, and he was deeply trapped in it!

The other members of the slave hunting team were killed without any resistance, and only the second-level soldiers stood there with injuries all over their bodies.

He gasped heavily, looked at Ivan in horror and said:

"What the hell are you guys?"

Ivan's staff lit up with a bright yellow flame.

He chuckled and said, "Didn't I just say that? I'm a magician!"

The flames lightly fell on the body of the second-level fighter. He had already consumed too much energy after resisting many attacks just now.

But he still didn't expect that he would have no power to fight back against this seemingly fragile flame!

Bright yellow flames spread throughout his body until he was burned to death.

After the flame dissipated, the armor on his body was burned and deformed.

The temperature of this flame is much, much higher than when Horn casts a ring of magic!

Ivan strolled to Kenny with a Hexi smile, stretched out his hand to Kenny who fell on the ground and said:

"Join the Gray Tower, compatriots!"
