Crazy, You Call This a Trainee Lawyer

: I just had my tooth pulled and it started to hurt

I just had my teeth pulled and it started to hurt

Today I went to our district people's hospital to see a tooth. The doctor said that it was an impacted tooth (right wisdom tooth), which caused pulpitis and required extraction and pulpectomy.

I sounded a little scared, but I still swiped my card to pay the bill, then took a dental x-ray, and went to the operating table.

High pressure syringes for doctors, mouth mirrors, forceps, probes, various types of dental forceps, gingival separators, periosteal peelers, high-speed elevation turbine handpieces and their burs, saliva suction devices, various types of needle holders…

Anyway, the whole process was tense, but fortunately, the anesthesia was administered and I didn’t feel any pain, so the operation was over.

Then, go to pay the bill again, and then go home.

I’ll just complain. Now that I enter a hospital, I have to pass three checkpoints (doorbell code, itinerary code, and Sukang code), and then the registration and payment are all operated by self-service machines. Also self-checkout.

For us young people, convenience is convenience, but if it is an elder in my family, an old man who does not know how to use a mobile phone, it is really a black eye, and he does not understand anything, so he can only stand in a daze.

From entering the hospital to leaving the hospital, I communicated with the machine all the way. Except for a few words about the condition of the doctor who performed the surgery in the stomatology department, I did not see a nurse. Service, the hospital lost a touch of humanity.

Cough, this is how I felt when I went to a big hospital today. I used to see a doctor in a small hospital (community medical service center) in the town.

I think that society is developing and technology is progressing, but technology is progressing too fast, without considering that some people cannot accept this big step...

Stop talking, I'm off the anesthesia now, and it's starting to hurt, emmm...
