Bro, I Love Him!

Chapter 8:Asking For An Explanation

Since the last call from Nate, Nara was a little upset waiting for her twin to arrive. Not to mention her eyes that once seemed to glance around her.

Nara is no longer in Nate's room, but she is in the TV room, which is a strategic place in the house, to see the situation around her.

'Ugh, Nate took so long, didn't he say he was close?' Monologue Nara while looking at the clock perched on her hand.

Five minutes, until 10 minutes have passed, until ...

The sound of the house door was suddenly heard being opened from outside.

Nara's eyes diverted her focus to stare at the door.

Who the hell is coming? Is it Nate? But why is there no signal to Nara?

Nara, who was about to get up at first, ended up stopping her movements after seeing that it wasn't Nate who had come, but Ed who calmly entered the house.

"Hi Nate!" shrieked Ed, who suddenly pointed at Nara.

With great difficulty, Nara tried to face Ed calmly. If previously Nara had stopped her steps to stand up, now she was forced to stand up and give Ed a wave.

"How were you? Was it going well?" asked Nara trying to cover up her nervousness, who had always been thinking about Nate's whereabouts, who never gave her any news.

Ed smiled at Nara and stepped closer to her.

'Is this a good sign?' Nara thought in her mind because, to be honest, the look on Ed's face didn't really explain the truth.

"Thank you, Nate," said Ed suddenly, patting her on the shoulder. "You're right. It's better to talk about it well, without paying attention to the bad prejudices I did before asking you," continued Ed said.

Nara gulped down her saliva roughly.

'So Ed and Lucy's problem is clear?' Monologue Nara in a confused mind.

Since now is not the right time to extend their conversation, Nara chose not to continue with the question that was in her head but only nodded her head slowly and smiled at Ed.

'I better not tell him now.' Monologue Ed to himself, and after that, he just gave a code to Nara that he would go straight to his room.

A small nod Nara gave to Ed.

'Thank God he didn't stay here long.'

(Notification Tones)

A message suddenly entered the message notification on her cellphone.

Nara quickly checked the message.

'Nate!'

Nara's fingers immediately opened the message.

After carefully seeing the message, Nara immediately looked around and stepped out into the back garden, where she and Nate played there since childhood.

Nara's footsteps looked very careful. Even a few times, Nara's feet seemed to trip over small rocks that were there.

Nervous?

Of course, Nara was nervous! What if her brother suspects her?

Nara didn't want to have any problems, especially with the current condition where her soul was still exchanging with her siblings.

"Nate," Nara called softly as if in a whisper at a small gate at the back of the garden.

"Ah, you come! Hurry up and help me open this door. It looks like this fence is a little rusty since we just left it Nar."

"I think so," Nara said, agreeing to Nate's words as she helped move the small, rusty fence.

After spending a few minutes, finally, Nate can enter his house, more precisely in the garden behind his large house.

"Get in quickly. Dru and Ed are in his room, and Mom seems to have been out for a while with aunt, while Dad hasn't come home yet," Nara explained to Nate while pulling Nate's hand to follow her steps quickly.

"Are you sure there's nobody in the living room?" Nate asked, trying to convince himself of the explanation of the atmosphere at home from what Nara had explained earlier.

There was no long answer, but only a low hum and the sharp gaze that Nate could see from the look on his younger sister's face.

'You're so cute to be me, Nar, still your behavior doesn't change,' Nate's mind wanted to laugh at his nervous sister's behavior and tried to be his guard.

Nate is actually not too afraid if his brother catches him from outside. He is already with Nara. Of course, he can cleverly make classic excuses that he believes his brother must believe him.

Why is it like that? Why could Nate be so sure that his two siblings could believe what he just said?

The first reason, of course, was because he was in Nara's body!

Nara is a typical obedient girl, unable to lie because her lies can be seen by her brother, especially by Nate. Nara cannot lie to Nate one bit!

Maybe because they are twins, so Nate can know very well if Nara lied to him, and for that reason Nara told Nate honestly.

The second reason is none other than because Nate's tongue has become accustomed to making classic excuses, which according to him, can trick his brother. Nate knows his two brothers very well, especially with the attitude of his two brothers, who are very different when faced with Nara, and the last reason is that his siblings can't just scold Nara, even though Nara doesn't know this. Only Nate, Ed, and Dru know this.

As gentlemen, the three of them always put forward their younger sibling's wishes, and of course, love Nara sincerely.

To them, Nara is like a diamond that they have to protect.

Nara very carefully opened the door of her house while pulling Nate's arm.

"Come on in," whispered Nara.

Again, only a small hum was answered by Nate.

For a moment, Nara let out a sigh of relief when she looked around. The conditions in the house were exactly what she had said before.

"Have a shower first. You owe me a story."

"Well, not only me, but you also owe me the same, Nar, you have to explain everything to me."

Thump!

Instantly Nara fell silent and could only nod her head slowly.

'Ugh ... Nate shouldn't have read the message.'
