Bride of the Dragon Emperor

While there's a commotion going-on in the restaurant.

At the general's household, Xiao Xingxing was frowning as she stares at herself through the mirror.

Ahjing had been staring at her miss the whole time. Since coming home from the flower market, her miss starting to became silent as if there's something bothering her.

An image of the previous scene flashes back in her mind. She let out a long sigh as she look at her frowning miss.

'I hope my miss is okay'

Meanwhile, the frowning little miss was morosely contemplating.

What happened earlier keeps on bothering her. The Image of her, trying to kiss a stranger in the middle of the street- such scadalous act is not appropriate for a lady like her.

She helplessly lay her head on the dressing table as she let out a heavy sigh of despair.

"Ahjing-aaaah!" she said in a low voice.

"Yes Miss?"

"Am i ugly?" she asked her servant. There's a hint of sadness in her voice.

"No! Of course not!" ahjing honestly said.

"Really?" she said without looking at her servant.

"Yes miss! Miss is beautiful, the most beautiful. Honestly, this servant thinks miss is the most beautiful in the world."

Its true, her miss really is beautiful. The most beautiful rather. Even though she's also a girl, she couldn't help but admire her miss' beauty.

Her miss' alluring beauty on par with a goddess', her extremely beautiful face and eyes which could topple over a city and kingdoms. A drop-dead gorgeous woman who's beauty could drive a man to distraction.

Ahjing shakes her head in disbelief. 'Only fools would say her Miss is ugly'

"Is that a joke or not?" Xingxing said

"Jo--ok?" the servant girl cant help but feel at loss, her mistress is speaking weird languages again.

Xingxing noticing her way of speaking and the words she used.. She immediately rephrase the things she said. "Ah, what im saying is, are you lying or not?"

Finally understanding what her miss was saying, the servant quickly shook her head "No, No, i dont dare lie to miss. This servant really is speaking the truth"

Seeing her servant's honest response, xingxing smiled "okay, thank you"

Ah-jing soon retreated and walked out of the room.

As soon as she was alone, she let out a groan and sluggishly slams her body on the soft bed.

She close her eyes, the soft fabric enveloping her entire body feels relaxing. She feels tired and exhausted as she feels herself slowly drifting to sleep.

But an image of an alluring man wearing a black majestic robe appeared in her mind. His long onix hair swaying beautifully in the air. She remembers his deep sexy peach blossom eyes - it is still clear how it hypnotized her entireness.

Its felt like a part of her sleeping heart fluttered.

"URGH!" she groaned

She tweaked her hair in annoyance.

'why am i being like this?!'

Xingxing tossed and turn, rolled on her bed until she fell on the floor.

Unknown to Xingxing, someone was silently watching her all this time. The figure sitting on a cushion inside an oval wicker basket is silently shaking its head as it watch its owner making a fool out of herself. It was the orange colored tabby cat that Xingxing bought at the flower market.

Staring at the girl, the cat disdainfully rolled his eyes and gently laid his head on the cushion. 'tsk tsk, i never thought that this Mistress can be this crazy'

"Crazy" the cat said in disbelief.

"Who's crazy?!" Xingxing exclaimed.

She scanned her sorroundings but besides her, there's no one around.

'Weird' she thought to herself. Her eyes roamed around the room till it stopped at the orange tabby cat who seems to resemble garfield, sitting in the oval wicker basket. She noticed the cat was staring at her. It's usual round eyes became even more rounder.

An impossible thought passed through her mind for a moment, but quickly dismisses it in the end.

'Mistress can understand cat language?'the cat stared at his owner in awe. A pair of jade white fingers soon wraps around his body.

Xingxing cradled the cat like a baby and put it on her lap.

"hey, what are you looking at?" she laughed at herself 'she was actually talking to a cat'.

The cat still staring at her with a pair of wide eyes, Xingxing too stared at the cat in return. After contemplating for a moment, the cat finally speak. "You! Yo-You--can understand me??!"

Realizing what was happening, Xingxing was dumbfounded.

'WT*! Did i hear it right?! This cat actually spoke to me?!'

"You!-"

Both human and cat stared at each other in horror. Their eyes soo wide as if their eyeballs will fall out anytime soon.

Afraid, Xingxing jumped out of bed; Away from the cat, she stood in defense mode holding a pillow infront of her body as a shield.

"You! how come- you can talk?! Are you some kind of a monster?!"

Oh my God! What the h** was happening?! This cat-how come his talking?

Hearing the girl calling him 'monster', the cat rolled his eyes. With eyes full of disdain, he leisurely jumped on top of the bed and face the girl...

With a serious expression, the cat said "Hey! For your information, I'm a normal cat. How dare you call me 'Monster'! and I dont know the reason why you can understand me! Like you, i'm also shocked you know"
