The sun was setting when the master and servant pair returned to the General's Estate.

The two then sneakily rushed to Xingxing's courtyard.

After styling her hair and changing her clothes back into a dress, Xingxing lazily sprawled - her stomach against the wide bed.

After those seemingly endless chase and running earlier, she felt very tired. Her body aches, her feet hurts and her legs felt sore. It felt like she was punched hard and was beaten to death.

As she was lying, a voice then called from the outside. It was Ahjing reporting that a housekeeper named Zhao is here. Xingxing reluctantly stood-up and headed to the receiving area of her room to recieve this housekeeper.

As soon as she was seated, Ahjing walked into the room, following her is a fifty something year old man and two young servants. Ahjing and housekeeper Zhao entered the room while the two servants stopped and stood at the door.

He then bowed and greeted Xiao Xingxing. "Although Eldest miss is well and miss' body was now in good condition. Master was still anxious and worried thus, when he was out, he bought lots of body nourishing medicines and herbs and ordered this servant to personally deliver it to eldest miss"

After saying this, he turned his head and hastily waved his hand. Following this, two servants entered the room with two boxes on their hands. Inside those boxes was prescious roots, tea and herbs that are good for the body.

After checking the boxes, Xiao Xingxing then ordered Ahjing to put them in the medicinal storage. After that, housekeeper Zhao then bowed and said that he will no longer disturb miss and should go back to his work. Xiao Xingxing then nodded and the old man turned and walked out of the room.

Xingxing lazily looked at the retreated figure of the old man. Compared to Ahjing, this Xiao manor's housekeeper Zhao was quite short in height. But even though he's not that tall, he looks quite efficient, meticulous, obedient, humble and smart. He knows his work and was like those of the modern secretaries in corporate companies.

It was still summer thus people in the capital often strolls around or go out to get some fresh air. During this times, at the Xiao Manor. Xiao Xingxing was often sitting on the swing near her courtyard. Aside from that swing was placed at a beautiful garden, the swing itself was beautiful, because the vines around the ropes were decorated with different flowers.

The servants passing at the corridors would always glance at the beautiful scenery. Not far away from the the garden, a shattering sound of a glass was heard. Following this was the angry scream of a girl.

Xingxing craned her neck to look at the direction of the noise. What she saw after made her eyes turned cold but she just choose to ignore it. Its better to not meddle with others affairs.

Moments later, an angry girl rushes towards her direction. This angry girl was none other than Madam Liang's niece, Liang Muyue. As soon as she arrived, the servant at her side tossed a servant girl on the ground.

Xingxing glanced at the servant in front of her and saw how pitiful her look is. Her hair and clothes were messy and her face was red due to the countless slaps she recieved. There were also blood from the scratches on her face and arms.

Looking at the sobbing servant, she has a thin frame and her age was most likely ten. For a person who lives in the modern world like Xingxing, this girl was just a child, and this kinda treatment was considered child abuse.

The justice-seeking blood inside her begins to boil. Besides that, she actually knew this child. Looking at the mocking smirk pasted on Liang Muyue's face, she knew that this girl was a servant at her Mingxing courtyard.

Liang Muyue felt victorious. She knew that this servant was from Mingxing courtyard so she ordered her servant, Ah-mei to deliberately tripped this servant girl earlier.

Liang Muyue firmly believed that by humiliating and punishing this servant, it would bring Xiao Xingxing humiliation as her servant's master.

Thus, she ordered Ah-mei toscratch her face and arms and tore her clothes. Not just that, she personally slapped the servant while educating her for her negligence and lack of manners. Indicating 'that her master was dumb, didnt teach her well and was negligence like her'.

Liang Muyue's voice was loud thus every single people nearby would hear her ramblings. After that, she purposely drag this servant girl by the hair to the direction where they're currently standing now.
