Bride of the Dragon Emperor

A refreshing day back at the General's Household. Xingxing got up as soon as the sun rises to the east.

Ahjing and the rest of the servants immediately prepares her bath. As soon as she rose from her bed, she was greeted by the sight of a lazy cat who's currently rubbing its fluffy eyes.

As soon as the cat sees his owner, he's expression turned sour and glared at her.

The fat cat looked at her disdainfully. It couldnt forget the shamefull things this mistress had done to him.

He shivered as he remembers the pain of losing some of his furr. Yesterday, his vicious master repeatedly wags his body in air until he became dizzy.

He angrily stared at the girl infront.

Of course, as a human, Xiao Xingxing should'nt get intimidated by a single cat. Beaming with pride, she hastily engaged in a staring battle with the cat.

Seeing this, the servants on the side cant help but sigh and sway their heads in disbelief.

The sound of two galloping horses resounded at the outskirts of Tianshang.

As soon as the two arrived at the city gates. A jade seal with a dragon symbol was raised in the air. All of the guards bowed and saluted at the sight of the jade and the majestic masked man before them.

Of course, this jade seal was the most prescious and was the only one in the entire continent. Everyone should bow down and pay respect at the sight of this seal. It goes without saying that the owner of that one of a kind jade seal was none other than, the Sovereign Emperor of the whole continent; the Dragon Emperor. 

As soon as the gates were open, the two horsemen exited the city in full speed.

At the Iron Palace. A man dressed in an official robe was currently walking his way to the emeperor's study.

But as soon as he arrived, he was greeted by a small figure at the doorstep.

He looked at the little guy infront who is also looking at him.

The little guy's cute little round eyes was blinking innocently. He also has cute chubby cheeks with a ray of pinkish color. The man in official robe cant help but give a slight pinch on his adorable face.

"Hey! It hurts!" the little guy exclaimed.

He addorably rubs his now reddish cheeks.

"Ooooh! Sooo cute!" the man cant help but pinch the little guy's squishy cheeks again. He raise both his hands to pinch both cheeks but was soon stopped by a kick on his groin.

"AAHCK! !" he let out a painfull scream."YOU!-" he almost cried in pain. The man in official robes, tried to reach the little boy but before he could do that, a palace guard approached him.

Despite the intense pain he is feeling, he hastily straightened his posture and face the approaching guard with a dignified face.

The guard made a hold-fist salute (1) and bowed. "This servant greets Deputy Commander"

"Okay" he waved his hand indicating the guard to go. After he was sure that the guard had left, he quickly crouched and cautiously held the aching part of his body. He took a deep breath and focus his energy at the affected part and the pain gradually lessens.

He shoot glares at the smirking little man infront. This kid, even though he's just little, his strength is quite powerfull.

'A simple punch or a kick can't hurt me, even the soldiers at the black calvary and the shadow guards are no match for me.. but this little guy... '

'Just a single kick from him got the me crouching in pain.'

The little guy gives a cute pout eyeing the glaring man infront. "hmmp!" as he arrongantly stomps his feet and turns around still wearing a smirk on his face. He then took large strides as he walked, away from the study.

The man unconsciously twitched his mouth. This little guy, such adorable looks hides a savage beast inside. Why would the Emperor let such a frightening little monster live in the palace walls?

At the thought of that, an image of the Emperor's ice cold face appeared in his mind. He suddenly shivered at the thought. A bone-chilling air swept across his body.

(1) Hold-fist salute: is called Baoquan li in Chinese. It means holding a fist in the other hand. The gesture of hold fist etiquette is that the right hand is made a fist, the left hand is to hold or cover the right fist. Hold fist salute shows the humility. It is often widely used among the kung fu masters and students.
