Breath Of The Flower

In the main mansion of the Ubuyashiki household, a baby's cry resounded through the halls. Inside the main room, a feminine child around the age of 6 sat in front of the cold corpse of his mother, gripping tightly on the struggling baby. A young man sat opposite him, his soft eyes moved from the body of his late wife to his son. A firm expression plastered on his face as he asked in a low voice,

"Do you blame him?" He gestured towards the baby in the boy's arms. Looking startled for a second the boy quickly replied, "no".

He knew that the death of his mother wasn't his brother's fault, it was just that everyone born in this family is weak. The man let out a low sigh and covered his wife's face, then he took the baby from his son and stared at the newborn.

"Your name will be Enmei, Ubuyashiki Enmei." The baby slowly opened his pale blue eyes and stared at the man. A smile bloomed on Enmei's face and he quickly fell back to sleep. He gently smiled at his second son and looked over at his firstborn.

"Let's go Kagaya." The boy took one last look at his mother and followed after his father.

(5 years later)

Laughter filled the empty halls of the mansion along with the twinkle of a bell. A young girl can be seen running around the garden, being chased by 2 maids.

"Please wait Enmei-sama!" The poor maids begged. The Ubuyashiki family was known to have a weak body since birth and was rarely able to survive childhood, but the young child defied this tradition and grew up to be a healthy, young boy. However one thing was different, he possesses the same pitch black hair as his family but his clear blue eyes he had as a baby had dimmed down and if one were to look closely, they could see how it was unfocused and empty. He was blind.

This did not stop the boy from being a happy, energetic child, as he would alway be seen with a smile and was able to locate and move about normally without needing to see. He always carried around a small bell, and when people asked he would say it helped him see.

The soft patters in the wooden floor caught the boy's attention as he faced his brother.

"Aniue", greeted Enmei. Kagaya smiled gently at Enmei and reached his hand over to pat his head. "Please don't trouble Akiko and Tsuna too much Enmei", Enmei lifted his head up and a smile, similar to that of his brother and father appeared on his face, he turned to the two girl and tilted his head cutely, "I'm sorry Akiko, Tsuna".

Kagaya nodded with approval and continued to speak, "Father is looking for you". Enmei's face visibly brightened as he raced down to his father's office.

Enmei slowly entered with a small smile on his face, "You called Father?"

Enya turned to his son and gently patted his head. "Yes, I want to discuss something with you", he said, closing the door and gesturing towards the cushion. The father and son duo sat in silence for a few second until another silhouette appeared on the door. It slid open, revealing a beautiful young woman.

"Ah just in time", Enya said softly to the woman. Looking at his son, he continued, "Let me introduce you, this is Kocho Yuna", he paused, "She will be your new teacher".
