[Solo Clear!]

“Take thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis!”

“Just die, you!”

Living Armor Knight and I began our life-and-death battle.

He shot the eight black swords that had come from another dimension at me, and I shot the same number of arrows to intercept them!

Ponrokuro, Ponshichiro, and Ponhachiro—the three new recruits—fell after a brief clash, but their seniors, from Pontaro to Pongoro, were able to break through the barrage without incident thanks to their higher levels.

They went on to fly toward the Armor Knight while emitting jet-black light!

“Tch, then what about this!” He manifested a greatsword, which he immediately swung with a mighty swing, sending Pontaro and the gang flying!

He then glared at me and closed the distance between us at a speed that was unimaginable from its full body armor!

“Heh, since you lost in ranged combat, you’ve chosen to go up close and personal, huh! In that case!” I materialized three arrows and gripped them tightly. Of course, all of them were Living Weapons. They were Ponkuro, Ponjuro, and Ponjuichiro—three of eight black swords that had been shot down earlier.

Now the limit of my summonable monsters was almost maxed out. The limit was twelve… perhaps because the maximum number of people you could form a party with was 13. According to the strategy guide site, a full party was usually called the ‘Great Raid Party’.

But forming a party that large was not without its disadvantages as the risk of friendly fire would jump up, and a boss’s HP would rise depending on the number of players who entered the boss room. Five or six players was the sweet spot. The experience points were divided among all the players who participated in the battle, too.

But being a Summoner, that didn’t concern me! Monsters received the same amount of experience points as the Summoner, and they were familiars, not players! Their numbers wouldn’t affect the boss’s HP.

And…

“It’s not like I’m completely helpless in close combat! Don’t underestimate bow-users, you shithead!”

Throwing my bow away, I started running with arrows gripped tightly in my right hand! As the Armor Knight jumped up into the air and raised his greatsword overhead, I followed suit, leaping into the air before swinging at him with my three arrows.

“You psycho, which bow-user would throw their bow away?!”

“But you threw your sword yourself!”

A blade and arrowheads clashed and scattered sparks in the air.

However, the deadlock only lasted a few moments. I was immediately blown back to the ground, but I managed to land on my feet, skidding back for several meters. Well, my Strength was zero, so the result was only natural.

However…

“?! What’s going on… I knocked you away so easily, but why is my greatsword chipped…?” the Armor Knight stiffened in confusion as he looked at his greatsword that was chipped at the place that had hit my arrows.

Fuh, all went according to plan. As expected of me, how smart.

“The answer is simple. These arrows have had their destructive power enhanced by the Strength of the Living Weapons that’s possessing them. And unlike swords, you can hold many arrows in your hand.

This equals me having multiple weapons in hand. One swing of mine does three times the damage. To sum up, this is the power of bonds, that’s all.”

“What?! A-again, which insane bow-user would face their opponent in close combat?!

Besides, those arrows appear so brittle that you can crush them just by holding them. Regardless of how many of them you put together, they should have been destroyed after a direct clash with my greatsword…!”

“Dude, trust me, these arrows will never break no matter how you try to destroy them. After all… they are ‘Beginner Arrow’, the lowest and weakest initial item. They are as garbage as they come. That said, they have one redeeming quality, that is, they have infinite ‘Durability!”

“W-whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!” The Armor Knight let out a startled cry. As he did, I picked up my bow and nocked all my arrows, including Pontaro and the gang who had returned!

Alright, boys, don’t be afraid of death and just focus on killing the enemy! Unlike players, summoned monsters have a terrifying drawback: they will permanently disappear when they die, but you guys are an exception!

“Sure, you guys only possess initial items and my Strength is zero. You might have been more powerful if you were fired with a good bow by a guy with normal stats, but we just have to make up for what we’re lacking with the power of our bonds!

Now, go, turn that bastard into a pincushion!”

[Kishaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!] The gang of jet-black arrows shot toward the Armor Knight. And as insurance, I activate Summoner arts!

“Activate art, ‘Hyper Speed Burst’! ‘Hyper Power Burst’!”

At that moment, Pontaro and the gang became jet-black meteors!

What I’d activated were the advanced versions of ‘Speed Burst’ and ‘Power Burst’ that I’d acquired when I’d leveled up some time ago.

Unlike ‘Speed Burst’ and ‘Power Burst’—which had a cooldown of 30 seconds and respectively doubled the target’s Agility and Strength—‘Hyper Speed Burst’ and ‘Hyper Power Burst’ had a cooldown of 3 minutes, but instead it increased the stats by 5 times for just an instant.

The eleven arrows accelerated and pierced through the Armor Knight!

[Kishaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!]

“I-impossibleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?!”

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

‘Giant Killing’ activates! Damage increases!

‘Fatal Strike’ activates! Damage increases!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

My damage-increasing skills activated almost as though to deliver the final blow. With that, the Armor Knight’s whole body finally broke into pieces!

“Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh?! Y-you lowly adventureeeeeeeeeeeer!”

But the Armor Knight hadn’t given up yet.

With a roar filled with resentment, his gauntlet—at least what was left of it—shot toward me!

“Dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”

“Heh, a persistent one, aren’t ya! Then, let me respond in kind!”

I threw my bow away again and started running! As the distance between us shrunk, I activate another art I’d acquired when I’d leveled up.

“Activate ‘Summon Return’! Come back, Pontaro!”

At that moment, Pontaro returned to my hand, transcending time and space.

It was an art that was meant to allow the player to summon back their monster and had it protect them in case they got attacked while their monster was away fighting. But I was making use of it as a means of attack instead!

Placing the arrowhead between my index and middle fingers, I clenched my fist before swinging it toward the Armor Knight!

“This is the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeend!”

Following my roar, gauntlet and fist clashed with each other! The one who won the confrontation was me!

As I received the message that the damage I’d taken got nullified by ‘Guts’, the Armor Knight’s gauntlet started cracking…!

“H-how could I have lost… to such a psycho… this… this is absuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurd!”

Along with his roar, the Armor Knight’s gauntlet—the only thing left of him—shattered! At that moment, *POP*!The sound of party poppers popping echoed throughout the room!

W-whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?! I got quite a few skills!

‘Conqueror of Adversities’ was especially wonderful. I planned to always keep my HP at 1, so that meant my Luck would be doubled at all times!

Now, my Luck had exceeded 1200. Every other stat was zero though, hahaha!

‘Absolute Zero’ wasn’t bad, either. My Luck should increase its activation rate, and I could only equip beginner equipment anyway.

But as for ‘Psycho’… the effect aside, what was up with its name? When challenged into a fist fight, wasn’t it only common sense for men to take it up with a fist in kind?

But oh well. I was able to make the Armor Knight—albeit weaker—my underling, all’s well that ends well.

It might be a good idea to review everything along with Pontaro’s and the gang’s statuses after getting my new equipment from Francoise tomorrow. I’d got so many new arts and skills that I could no longer keep track of them.

It was when I made that decision. More sounds of party poppers popping echoed…

[World News! Living Armor Knight has been defeated for the first time single-handedly by Yuri! Dungeon: Underground Tomb of the Shinigami, fastest capture completed!]

A system message had been sent to all players!

Other than the baldhead and Francoise, I was sure that no one could have imagined it. That the one who had soloed the dungeon was me, a guy with rotten luck who had picked a Summoner as his job, the bow as his weapon, and put all his stat points into Luck!

“Okay, I’ll keep up this momentum and go on a rampage at the battle event three days later!”

I returned to the town with Pontaro and the gang in high spirits!
