Chapter 624: 201. Prison on the sea

Chapter 624 Two hundred one. Prison on the sea

The black waves lap against the rocks at the bottom of the cliff, day and night.

The fog that pervades the deep sea has not dissipated.

The sea breeze blows over the top of the cliff, otherwise why would Annie sway gently.

   "Look, it's a tree bud."

Anna stood under the Annie tree, and a mass of yellowish buds was squeezed out of the ash and withered branches on the lounge chair.

"Annie likes you more than me." Anna whispered while stroking the tree.

"You guys came back two days late...Did something happen?" asked Remy who was not far away. She felt that Anna seemed to be... different from before.

"Something really happened." Lu Li looked at the children who were playing around with Ampei and Adang Fuya. They welcomed the new residents more than anyone else.

"She is Adam Fuya, Tesla's wife, and she will probably live here for a long time." Lu Li introduced to Remi Jimmy. As for Annie, he had spoken to Adamuya on the way with the siblings and the children.

This means it's time to build the third cabin in Elm Forest.

"Leave it to me and my sister." Jimmy, who had recovered a lot from Anna's hunting, volunteered.

The two brothers and sisters who built the two wooden houses can almost be regarded as craftsmen.

Ampere is not interested in log cabins, he prefers open fields and elm forests, and… kids. It actually allows children to climb on its body and play on its back.

Anna reminded it not to get close to the trees in the forest, let alone hurt them, and walked into the shelter with a carriage of books and food.

After the food was hidden in the cellar, Anna began to think about where to put the half-carriage books—the space in the shelter was obviously not enough.

There wasn't much room left for the shelter where the single bed, table and chairs were put down, and the books Anna brought would take at least several bookshelves to fit.

"Temporarily put it in the cave." Lu Li said.

But not for too long... Fragile books can't withstand the corrosion of humidity.

Refuge may need to be expanded.

   Lu Li thought.

The original intention of   Refuge is to allow him to survive after the end, but Anna and the residents of Elm Forest have teamed up to form a guarantee called safety.

This was not as originally planned.

"We don't have that many deep-sea rocks." Anna seemed to know what Lu Li was thinking.

"There is a place where there are many." Lu Li said, there is even an extravagant use of deep sea stones as building stones, just like them.

   Ghost Prison.

And it's right on the doorstep of Elm Forest, Belfast.

The only question is whether the ghosts in prison should be released for the Deep Sea Stone, even though Belfast is bad enough.

"I'll look for the prison later when I hunt." Anna said,

Lu Li did not refuse, but he reminded Anna that she could observe, but not explore and approach.

He remembered Tesla saying that the warden of the prison was an evil spirit. Regardless of how it relates to humans, it's obviously not going to do well with its own kind.

There was the sound of construction on the wooden boards outside the cave. Anna lit the fireplace that had been cooled for several days, and the ashes she took out were taken outside by Lu Li to be sprinkled.

Ampere was lying at the entrance of the cave, and the children were like its children.

Not far away, Jimmy's monster body is building a new wooden house next to the brother and sister's hut, and Remy is working on the bookshelf where the books are placed.

When he returned to the cave, Lu Li saw the flowerpot that Remi had placed at the entrance of the cave. The buds didn't grow again, as if they were frozen at the moment when Lu Li left the forest. The weak, low-hanging, yellowed shoots indicate that it is about to die.

Lu Li picked up the flower pot, put it on the desk, and put it together with the flower pot brought from King Ellen.

The flower pot that Lu Li and Anna knew each other should be brought back to the top of the cliff.

Maybe tomorrow morning, we will be able to see the buds burrowing out of the soil and hanging with dewdrops.

Soon Remi entered the cave with the simple bookshelf she had built. The bark was still glued to it, but it was enough as a temporary bookshelf.

Anna put the books one by one on the bookshelf, and put the remaining books on the desk in the refuge. Whether or not someone will read it, a few books do give the refuge a room-like vibe.

Next is what Lu Li has always planned to do: visit the "neighbors", those elm trees.

The gift is very simple - it is Lu Li himself.

may not sound good, but now Luli is popular with trees like fertilizer. Where he stopped on his way, the elms filled with despair and sadness began to slowly change their moods.

Lu Li and Anna circled around the top of the cliff. Although the elms are not as friendly and welcoming as the trees near the top of the cliff, if they take a walk every day, the day will not be too long.

As it approached noon, Anna took the redemption and left the Elm Forest to go hunting. The construction of Adam Fuya's wooden house was also nearing the end, and the sporadic sound of knocking saw wood represented that Jimmy was making furniture.

An hour later, Anna, much later than usual, returned with her prey: an ugly shark with hind legs.

Jimmy eats a small portion and the rest goes to the kids and new resident Ampere.

Anna reminds Amber not to eat the bones, she is going to pile it to the edge of the elm forest.

   "Found the ghost prison."

Anna said to Lu Li who was sitting in front of the cave reading a book.

"It's by the sea?" Lu Li put the book together, took the gun holster and put it on the arm of the rocking chair.

   "Or in the sea."

Belfast is bordered by an elm forest to the north and an oak forest to the south.

However, Oak Forest is closer to Belfast than here, and there are no towering cliffs separating it from the coast.

The Ghost Prison is over there. Outside the Crescent Bay, on the edge of the oak forest, on an island less than three miles from the beach.

There is a hidden sea area. After all, there are reefs everywhere, no ship wants to enter the port from there, and it's not too close to the city.

Although this location has been questioned - so why not put it far from Belfast?

People are worried that the ghost prison will get out of control and cause disaster. Ironically, Belfast was devastated before the Ghost Prison riots.

Anna didn't get too close, but she still found an interesting thing around: the beach near the ghost prison was full of brand new footprints, small pieces of felled oak trees, and newly built boats.

A certain group is interested in a ghost prison on an island in the sea and tries to get close.

It is mixed with weird footprints that are different from humans. Humans and weirdos move together... The only thing Lu Li can think of is pagans.

"The heretics...why do they want to get their hands on the prison." Lu Li said with a frown.

Undercurrents are clearly surging in the ruins of Belfast.

"Pagans don't just believe in evil gods, they may be believers of any powerful, weird, or even some legends." Sarah's memory told Anna, and Anna told Lu Li.

"Maybe their Lord needs strength, or more believers."

What better way to deal with than a bunch of trapped ghosts?
