Bizarre Detective Agency

Chapter 1449: Bizarre Syndrome.

  Chapter 1449 Bizarre Syndrome.

Lu Li couldn't think of the reason why the crow woman lied to him, so he put away the pills.

"But I can't understand its words."

"Don't understand?" The face behind the mask seemed to be puzzled, "It's saying that you can give it the oil painting."

   "Wow woof!"

"It said it was willing to exchange things."

The golden retriever opened the drawer and took out a calendar.

In Luli's results calendar, the date in front of the yellowed page has disappeared, and now it shows the "fourth" day.

Is it just a daily necessities, or is it a "prop" like oil paintings and pills?

Anyway, a calendar is better than lugging around with a painting.

"Is there anything you can do for me?" Lu Li agreed to the exchange, and then asked Crow Mask.

She kept looking at Lu Li strangely for a while, and said for the sake of Lu Li helping the golden retriever, "I have something XZ in the activity area, if you can help me get it back... I can give you something"

   "Where is the activity area?"

   "Turn left in Ward 201."

Lu Li looked at the last patient in the ward again, and met the eyes of "her" who had been observing him from the beginning, and asked the tall silhouette that seemed to induce fear in his heart: "Is there anything I can do for you?"

   "She" did not respond.

Lu Li temporarily ignored the patient and left the ward.

The hazy mist sprinkled in the corridor, the fourth dusk has arrived.

   Today is longer than expected.

Before night fell, Lu Li sent the wheelchair girl back to Room 201, and took the opportunity to observe the corridor outside the corner—there were two locked doors at the end.

He needs a key to enter the activity area.

Back to 204, the living tree is still sitting on the bed of dirt as it is early in the morning.

"Do you need help?" Lu Li asked Living Tree.

   "No."

Without getting any new clues, Lu Li began to organize today's harvest:

Exchange oil paintings for calendars; exchange stories for anti-inflammatory drugs; accept requests for beak masks.

So tomorrow is time to tell Mildred Hamply the story of the golden retriever, and then find the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and calendars...

The festering outline suddenly appeared in Lu Li's mind, maybe it needs anti-inflammatory drugs?

Looking out the window, the burning mist is about to disappear, and night is approaching.

Lu Li took the initiative to come to the bed of the living tree.

"let's start."

The roots entangled him in response.

Lu Li opened his eyes, and the thick fog outside the window seemed to penetrate into the room. The calendar on the bedside table changed to "five."

"Do you need help?"

   "No."

The conversation with Living Tree was the same as last night. Lu Li went to Ward 206 first and found that the golden retriever bed was empty.

"It has been discharged from the hospital." The beak mask said, "I have something for you. It is good to say the past, but you must cherish the present."

Then Lu Li came to the adjacent ward 207, and handed the anti-inflammatory drug to Festering Contour: "This anti-inflammatory drug should be able to help you."

The festering outline that accepted Lu Li's gift for no reason was at a loss for what to do. The voice sounded like the boy's outline had given Lu Li a piece of charcoal-like charred black crystal. Lu Li could smell sucrose from above.

This is a piece of candy, although it doesn't look good.

Lu Li then asked the sea monster if he needed help.

"I want to go to the activity area."

It's still an activity area, so Lu Li can't help for the time being. Then there's the Muppet. But the puppet's small body hides a big temper. Facing Lu Li's question, she screamed, "Get out! Get out!".

Perhaps the lack of eyes enhanced her language skills.

Before the nurse was attracted by the noise, Lu Li left Ward 207 to visit Mildred Hamply.

The story of the golden retriever allowed Lu Li to get a second "prop" from the old man—an anti-inflammatory drug.

Lu Li tried in vain to contact the cold ghost named Michelia, and when he turned to Friday, he answered again: "I'm fine, I don't need help."

Backing to the corridor, he found that the door of Ward 208, which had been closed for the past few days, was now open. There are three hospital beds, one is leaning on the pig, the other is a dirty boy, and the other is a cold man in a bat-like loose cloak.

The latter is insulting the boy, the boy lowers his head cowardly, his fingers wrapped around the hem of his clothes.

Lu Li didn't interfere, and continued walking towards the nurse's station.

The crow mask and the Kraken's request point to the rest area. Only the manager of this hospital knows how to open the door of the activity area.

Ring the bell at the nurses station, no response. It appears to be empty behind the curtain.

Lu Li thought of the paper on the list of suspected patients...

"what are you doing here?"

Lu Li looked at the nurse who didn't know when to appear: "I want to ask when the activity area will open?"

"festival."

   "When is the holiday?"

"Festival time." The nurse had no intention of talking to Lu Li, and said coldly, "Do you have anything else to do?"

"When I came, I saw the man in Ward 208 bullying the boy."

It seems that she is not affected by paranoia, and the image of the nurse is normal... she just treats Lu Li coldly, turns around and walks towards Ward 208.

Lu Li walked halfway along and walked into the adjacent ward 207, but when he gave the second anti-inflammatory drug to the festering boy, he refused.

"I don't have any sugar right now..." the festering boy said hesitantly, "You bring me the medicine tomorrow, and I'll give you sugar."

Lu Li agreed to him, and when he came out, the 208 ward next door had already settled the dispute.

The nurse was waiting for Lu Li in front of the ward.

   "You've been walking around lately."

"I lost my memory, I want to contact other patients to see if I can get my memory back." Lu Li took out the speech he had prepared in advance. "I won't bother them."

The nurse didn't say anything, turned and left, leaving Lu Li thinking whether it was a reminder or a warning. He only needs to pay attention to the former, while the latter means that he needs to avoid nurses in his next whereabouts.

Time passed quietly, and when Lu Li noticed the changes in the outside world, another dusk came.

Lu Li returned to Ward 204, as if he was standing by the bed of a living tree yesterday. The roots are entwined, bringing pain and suffocation. But it fades like a tide when it hits the pocket.

Lu Li, who hadn't ushered in a new day, realized something and took out the burnt black cane sugar in his pocket: "Do you want it?"

The old face of the living tree emerges with a human desire.

   "Here you are."

The cane sugar that the festering boy exchanged for the living tree will not attack Lu Li tonight. But it doesn't seem to make sense unless...

Lu Li looked out the window where the orange color had faded and the darkness filled the air.

   Exploring the hospital at night?

It's a little bit of a risk... being caught by a live tree or other sickness is the worst possible outcome and ends today. But being found by a nurse may be grounded or sent to the third floor...

   click—

With a faint sound, the door opened a gap.

Lu Li probed into the dark corridor. There is no light, and the dark depths seem to be handymen cleaning up, or horrible monsters breed from the darkness.

Thinking of the nurse's warning when he first arrived, he needed light to deal with the darkness like a living thing.

No longer thinking about stepping into the dangerous darkness, Lu Li closed the door again, returned to the hospital bed, and closed his eyes.

When I opened my eyes again, a pale mist filled the window.

   "Good morning, Mr. Lu Li."
