41 – Episode 41

Spent the weekend with Belita. She

She didn’t have much to say, but weekends like that she used to kiss sometimes.

To share love, the feelings between each other, no, my feelings weren’t that hot and I wasn’t ready, so it felt like we weren’t crossing the line to some extent.

Belita seemed a bit unsatisfied with that fact, but what can I do?

“Eric, today is the last day.”

“Sure.”

“Why don’t you say something like you’re sorry to be away for a while?”

“For what? You said you were coming to see me again.”

“It is.”

Belita sits on top of me in her chair.

She felt a slight warm feeling as the soft part touched her.

“Is this okay?”

“The god I believe in is the god of fertility.

How many gods would love me, I am so overflowing with divine power.”

Belita just turned her back and looked at me.

She looked at me for a while, then hugged me and whispered in my ear.

“You’ll become a real nobleman now.”

“Sure.”

“How does it feel to become an aristocrat who is always cursed at? Is it just fun and new?”

“I didn’t even want to.”

Belita picks up the cigarette I was smoking with her two fingers and snatches it away.

She started coughing as she inhaled the smoke from her and she self bit her mouth.

“Kek! What is this and why are you smoking it?

I thought I would understand if I smoked something myself, but it just got more confusing.”

I throw Belita’s cigarette into the ashtray.

Belita, no matter how close she used to be to me, why does she like me so much?

In a way, it would be safe to say that it has been two weeks since we met.

It’s a special relationship.

She’s a human in a position you wouldn’t expect to come from a back alley, and no one but each other knows that.

“I have to wait at least a month to see you again.”

“Did it take that long?”

“Yeah, well, even if I beg you to go, the church won’t let you go right away.”

With that said, Bellita turns her body to face me.

“Eric, no one will know but you.

How hard I was.

How sad I was.

How I suffered.”

The eyes were blind.

Beyond staring at me intently, the thought that I will not take my eyes off you even for a moment is conveyed boldly.

To be honest, it’s a bit scary.

But I didn’t avert my gaze because I felt like I was going to cry if I pushed him away.

Belita reaches out and strokes my face with both of her hands.

There was something sinister about her fingers, which twitched slightly as she touched her lovingly.

“Fortunately, you were the same Eric as I was with you.

My best friend, secretly, was Eric, hiding the things I liked to myself.

We were in the same orphanage, but it’s just you and me.

I was filled with joy when I found out.”

Belita pressed her forehead against me.

Every time she exhales and drinks, her breath stimulates her skin.

It was a situation where I could have felt strange, but strangely, I didn’t feel that way at all.

“You and I have changed so much to stay the same.”

At that, Belita shook her head.

“No.

The children in the orphanage all lost themselves like water mixed with paint.

Some were perverse, and some of them were involved in crime, if not even members of the slums.

You know what? The children in the orphanage no longer see me as Belita.

I’m looking at it as something that was lucky to get ahead, and not cheap.

Maybe that’s why, it must have been so much fun to bully him.”

Belita begins to laugh slightly amused.

She didn’t enjoy the story at all.

“My horse got bullied, and he threw dirt all over my lunch.

I tore my clothes to shreds and everyone around me giggled.

When I was walking, someone caught my leg and when I glared at it, they spit on it.

At first, I tried to solve it by talking, but it slapped me in the face.”

Belita imitates the speech of her children. Her tone was so familiar that you could tell who was who when she heard it.

From noble mtl dot com

“You said we wouldn’t look insignificant, don’t mix things up.

He said he must have sold himself to a nobleman to look good like that.

And she said it was the kid who was selling herself to the teacher.

That’s when I realized. All the children I knew are long gone.”

When she heard that, I wonder if her arm went into strength without me realizing it.

She was holding Belita tightly with her arms tight.

“So I had nothing but your thoughts.

Because I thought there was no one I knew other than you who could communicate with me, talk to me, and do something, yes, something alive.”

Belita’s whisper makes her head lightly dizzy.

“Actually, even if this hadn’t happened, I was going to visit you sooner or later when I grew up.

It is very sad that there is no one in this wide world who can talk to me or who can communicate with me.

So thanks Eric. As much as you, as much as you remain as you are.”

In a way, it is a belief close to madness.

A little bit of fear and goosebumps, but at the same time, a feeling of emotion rose up.

It wasn’t without a bit of turbid energy to use the expression “Much”.

“What should I tell you?”

“Just hug me tight, and when we see each other later, just hug me again like you do now.”

Belita brought her lips to mine, her jaw slightly sore.

Rather than her touch, she only confirmed that her mouth was full of thick, burnt me.

The final taste was slightly bitter.

Like a leaf that has already been burned.

After the weekend, life has not changed as much as I thought.

Except for the fact that Belita disappeared next to me and the stinging gaze changed to a slightly fearful one.

The reward that the emperor said he bestowed upon me has yet to come.

Still, everyone seemed to know whether the rumor had spread or the crown prince had spread it.

As usual, I take a book, sit on a chair, and put the book on top.

Miss Louise works hard in class, but as time passes, her classmates are back to normal.

It wasn’t to the extent of interrupting class by turning their backs on each other and chatting with each other like before.

“Are you feeling better?”

“Yes, everything is fine.”

“That’s good, then please follow me to my office.”

After her class, Louise calls me to her office.

“Whoa, did that priest go back to the church?”

“Yes, I went back.”

Louise fills her room with smoke with her dark circle eyes.

I felt familiar with her scent, as if I were looking at my room.

But when she smells it, it feels slightly different.

Realizing that I’m in charge of acting, Louise brings out what kind of scent she is.

“Ah, this is a new one.

What was she, she said, brought from a land inhabited by green-skinned and blunt-eared humans.

Would you like to smoke it anyway?”

I nodded and Louise threw a wooden box at me.

I ask Louise questions while enjoying these small pleasures that come from time to time.

“Why did you call me anyway?”

At that point, Louise handed me a piece of stiff paper.

“You must have a very close relationship with His Highness, the Crown Prince.

With one copy of that, I can transfer to the Faculty of Political Science or even the Faculty of Magic.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a swordsmanship or anywhere else.”

Ruiz adds that it is a rare privilege.

“You know, Bocchan.

There’s nothing to gain from being in the classroom I teach.

Because you’ve already learned everything.

I heard that the imperial family will give you a rough title this time.

Now, the Duchess is not in a position where she can do things like stabbing her hands recklessly.

It’s okay to listen to different things as much as you like.”

Then Louise hesitated a little, then she said it in a low voice as if feeling a sense of shame.

“… Whatever you choose, at least it’ll be better than what’s left in my classroom.”

“How long do I have to decide?”

“Well, how long do you have to decide?

You can go to politics or magic right now.

To be honest, it’s a place where you can’t see the future at all.”

Yes, it is a place where no future can be seen.

Because there are only commoners and illegitimate children like me who only have the idea of holding on.

Even then, some of them just don’t come to class and are busy following their master as if they were exclusive maids.

“My parents are aristocrats, but they aren’t great enough to inherit the estate, so it’s a department where people who want to compete for the title of graduating from the academy enter it.

Or it feels like they are brought in to keep them properly like the young master, or they are brought in as servants.

If you are a commoner, you either came to buy a diploma with money, or your talent was halfway there.”

But it was difficult to choose separately.

One side uses the same classroom as Xenia, interacts with each other, and takes the same classes.

The kind of class you get on what to do after inheriting the estate one day.

Surely, will Xenia allow me to do that?

No matter how friendly she treated me, she would always think that I was below me.

Even if I went to learn magic, I didn’t seem to have any talent for magic.

Then it’s alchemy, it’s fortunate if you don’t make potions or drugs.

The fact that there was a burdensome Misty and a prince who was beyond burdensome and didn’t want to run into each other was also a deductible factor.

But what if you stay in this Trisium?

Not yet. Yeah i don’t know yet

As I opened the door with that thought in mind, I bumped into someone on the head.

The person in front of me was Misty with a haggard face.
