Arranged Marriage : I'm destined to love you

Chen Xixi took a selfie with Bai Hao Yun in his office and uploaded it on her social media account after they were done with work. Jess saw Chen Xixi's photo captioned, "First day working after marriage. [heart]"

Jess sent a text along with the screenshot of Chen Xixi's post to their Whatsapp group.

Jess : Oh my god! Our Xixi are progressing fast.

Nana : I thought they hated each others. Seems like somebody had turned their hatred into love [lol] [lol].

Lina : Aww~ So sweet!. [love] [heart]

Chen Xixi : Hey!

Nana : Hmm.. I guess that we were all wrong about Bai Hao Yun being a gay.

Jess : Look at their pictures. They look so in love.

Chen Xixi : Yup. We are in love now. He treats me really well.

Chen Xixi : What hamster?

Jess : Don't act innocent! We are all adults now.

Chen Xixi : I don't understand.

Nana : She meant the hamster down there!

Chen Xixi : Hamster is too small. It's a rat.

Bai Hao Yun was right beside Chen Xixi when she was immersed in the conversation. Curiosity sparks in his mind when he noticed the cheeky look on the face of his wife as she was holding the phone. His figure was taller than her, making it easy for him to peek through her phone. Bai Hao Yun tried to contain his laughter after he accidentally read something he was not supposed to. Chen Xixi heard the sound of Bai Hao Yun giggling then turned to face him. "What are you laughing at?" Chen Xixi looked at her husband weirdly. Bai Hao Yun pressed his lips together to hold his laughter then looked at the direction of her phone.

Chen Xixi understood what he meant. She held her phone closer to her to prevent Bai Hao Yun from looking inside of it. "What have you seen?" Chen Xixi asked anxiously. "Well, nothing much. Only the hamster and rat part." Bai Hao Yun laughed. Chen Xixi hit his arms with both her hands. "Hey, how could you read the our texts slyly?" Bai Hao Yun held Chen Xixi's hands gently to stopped her from hitting him. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you and your friends are having this kind of conversation. I'm just being curious looking at you smiling cheekily with your phone." Bai Hao Yun replied. He hugged her lovingly and spoke, "Don't be angry, I promise I won't do it again."

Bai Hao Yun and Chen Xixi reached the company and entered the same elevator together. Before the elevator door was closed, Betty went into the elevator. "Good morning!" Betty greeted them. Chen Xixi smiled at Betty and replied, "Good morning Betty, it's good to see you!" Betty was new in the company and didn't knew about Bai Hao Yun. "Betty, this is my boss. Mr Bai Hao Yun." Chen Xixi introduced. "Hao Yun, this is the intern in our company. I just got to know her from yesterday." Chen Xixi smiled at Bai Hao Yun. Bai Hao Yun pay much attention on Betty but his gaze was fixated on his wife only. His wife seems pretty happy to have a new friend in the company.

Soon, the elevator reached the floor of Bai Hao Yun's office. Chen Xixi followed Bai Hao Yun to his office and Betty went to her working table to start working.

Betty thought, Chen Xixi was a very nice person. Even though she was working as the personal assistant of company CEO, she wasn't an arrogant person. Chen Xixi was very friendly and had a nice temper compared to most of Betty's colleagues in the same department. Betty had just entered the company few days ago. Her colleagues had been picking on her by making her do their works since she was new and had no backups in the company. She needed to make new friends from the same company to make her work life easier. Chen Xixi seems like somebody worthy to befriend for her.

It was lunch break, Bai Hao Yun didn't went out for lunch because he had myriads of documents to deal with. Chen Xixi decided to buy him lunch from the company cafeteria since it was nearer and more convenient for her. Betty saw that Chen Xixi was alone and approached her. "Hello again. Alone?" Betty asked. "Yup." Chen Xixi replied. "I am alone too. Do you mind having lunch with me?" Betty asked with anticipation. "Sure. Let's eat together." Chen Xixi replied. Betty was delighted by Chen Xixi's replies. They chatted during lunch and exchanged their Instagram ID. Chen Xixi didn't forgot to buy Bai Hao Yun lunch after she was done eating with Betty. She bought a pack of chicken rice to her husband.

"What took you so long?" Bai Hao Yun asked when Chen Xixi was back.

"Well, I met Betty in the cafeteria and we had lunch together." Chen Xixi replied in a good mood.

"The girl earlier?"

"Yup. We chatted for a little. Sorry to keep you waiting."

"It's okay. I should be sorry for letting you to buy lunch alone. Anyway, it's good that you made new friends."
