Arranged Marriage : I'm destined to love you

The next morning, Bai Hao Yun woke up with Chen Xixi sleeping soundly in his embrace. He pulled the blanket up lightly to cover her body before he caress her face gently. Chen Xixi opened her eyes and saw her man was looking at her affectionately. He intertwined her hand with his and planted a kiss on it.

"You're awake?" Bai Hao Yun smiled at Chen Xixi lovingly.

"Mhm." Chen Xixi responded and gave her husband a peck on his cheek.

"What pyjamas?" Chen Xixi asked confusedly.

"The one you assumed was a little bit small but ended up wearing it."

Chen Xixi slapped Bai Hao Yun's chest gently and turned around to hide her redden face from him. "Hubby, you are so annoying!"

Bai Hao Yun was hugged her from behind and asked "Does it fit? Do you like it?"

Chen Xixi nodded "It fit me perfectly. I loved it." She freed herself from his embrace and went to the bathroom to clean herself. This time, Bai Hao Yun didn't barged into the bathroom while Chen Xixi was taking a shower, he waited patiently for her to finish showering before his turn.

They went out of their room to take breakfast before going out. Bai Hao Yun took a day off today because it was the third day after he married Chen Xixi. According to the Chinese tradition, he were supposed to bring Chen Xixi to visit her parents home.

Mr Bai was reading newspaper while Mrs Bai was watching television when Chen Xixi and Bai Hao Yun came out from their room. They greeted the elders politely before they had their breakfast in the dining room. Chen Xixi brewed a glass of coffee for Bai Hao Yun and a glass of milk for herself meanwhile Bai Hao Yun made some peanut butter toast for themselves.

After breakfast, Bai Hao Yun took his wife out to shop for gifts as he was going to visit his wife's family. Chen Xixi was happy to see his husband was making efforts in meeting her parents. He bought some fruits and a bottle of fine wine for her parents.

[In the Chen's Mansion]

Lin Ai Yu was busy preparing her daughter favorite dishes knowing that she was coming home today. "Ding dong!" The sound of doorbell ringing could be heard. Chen Xixi and Bai Hao Yun had arrived. Chen Long Hua opened the door to greet his precious daughter and son in-law. Chen Xixi rushed in happily and gave her father a hug after he opened the door. "Dad, I miss you so much!" Chen Xixi cried in joy. "Oh ya, Hao Yun brought some fruits and wine for you." Chen Xixi spoke. "Dad, these are for you." Bai Hao Yun handed the items to Chen Long Hua. He accepted the gifts from his son in-law. "Let's talk inside." Chen Long Hua invited Bai Hao Yun. Chen Xixi ran inside the kitchen to find her mother, leaving her husband on the living room with her father. "Mom, I'm home!" Chen Xixi gave Lin Ai Yu a hug from behind. Lin Ai Yu turned around to hug Chen Xixi back. "Mom, I miss you!" Chen Xixi said. "I miss my daughter too." Lin Ai Yu replied. Bai Hao Yun went to the kitchen to greet his mother in-law. "Mom." Bai Hao Yun greeted politely. Lin Ai Yu smiled and nodded at him as response.

Bai Hao Yun decided to sit down and had a talk with Chen Long Hua at the living room, allowing Chen Xixi to spend more time with her mother. Chen Long Hua was pretty satisfied with his son in-law. They got along easily because they had many common topics to talk about.

Soon, the dinner was ready. Chen Xixi went to the living room to call Chen Long Hua and Bai Hao Yun for dinner. "Dad, Hao Yun, let's eat dinner."

They walked into the dining room and started eating when everybody was seated. Bai Hao Yun picked some prawns and peeled it before putting it on Chen Xixi's bowl. He knew Chen Xixi loves eating prawns but was too lazy to peel it on her own. She also hates to dirty her hands.

Lin Ai Yu looked at her thoughtful son-in law and spoke to her husband with slightly envious tone, "Look, our son in-law treats his wife so well. Back then, somebody used to peeled me prawns when we were still dating but I have to do it myself ever since I got married." Lin Ai Yu shot Chen Long Hua a look after speaking.

"It was because you were too shy to eat infront of me so I had to peel it for you. Now, I'm glad to see that you are eating well." Chen Long Hua teased.

Chen Xixi and Bai Hao Yun laughed at the both of them. "Mom, I don't mind peeling for you if you want." Bai Hao Yun spoke.

"It's okay, I don't want your wife to get jealous later." Lin Ai Yu replied.

"Mom!" Chen Xixi was slightly embarrassed.

"Just focus with your wife. I'll peel for your mother in-law." Chen Long Hua laughed.

The dinner was filled with joy and laughter. Everyone was having a great time.
