An Ton's Journey

As I was getting to the entrance of the ship, I saw worried Anakin who was talking with my guards that went first to meet him.

" Oh. Hi Annie, how are you? " I asked, specifically trying to annoy him by calling him Annie.

" Anton? still can't decide who you want to be? " He replied, as he knew that it was annoying.

" Where is my mother? " He continued, seriously this time.

" She is on the ship. follow me. " I replied, seriously this time, as this time there were no way for me to laugh at situation.

As we walked to the medical area, I continued to speak.

" Anakin. Listen to me. " I said, making him look at me.

" What you will see next, might make you angry, but don't you dare to come in and disturb her. understand? " I said, absolutely serious.

" What are you talking about? " He asked in worried tone.

" You felt it, didn't you. The feelings of your mother. " I said, looking at him.

" How... " He tried to ask.

" I have force too, I can feel your concern and fear. Don't worry. she is alive." I said, making a pause.

" What is wrong? What happened with her? " He asked, trying to lift me up using the clothes in his anger.

It didn't work.

" You shouldn't talk to me like that " I said absolutely seriously, with a little angered tone. as I was saying that, I took his wrists and unclenched his hands from my new clothes.

" S. s. sorry. I am just worried. " He said apologetically. And I released his hands.

" ehhh... " I breathed out.

" You will see what is going on with her. It wouldn't be good fore to speak until you see her " I replied, not answering him about her condition.

It was important not to bring in infections and disturb the restoration process.

My medical team was working full power on restoring and modifying her.

So, some crashed bones were being replaced, some organs had to be recreated, making them healthier then before, in place of her nonexistent eye, advanced replacement would be placed.

Currently it was being created.

All her skin that was burnt, well. most of her skin was damaged, so it was not really possible to restore it, so it was recreated and improved.

It wouldn't change much, it will still let destroyed cells through the skin, instead of them being the skin.

Most certainly, it will be much stronger.

As we closed in on her, Anakin rushed to the window, trying hard not to barge in to the room. I bȧrėly held him with my hands that I placed on his shoulders.

He was really strong when agitated.

And he is just a human.

Talented human.

" What happened? who did this? how? " He shouted, while I held him in place, not to let him do anything out of my sight.

He is too unstable now, and he still need to grow up.

Not escape this.

" I bȧrėly made it in time to save her. " I said, after calming him down a little.

" Thank you. Thank you. " He said, falling down on his knees and crying, as he was extremely worried.

I just patted his head and continued.

" We have a lot to talk about with you. And I won't let you just evade it. " I said, making him look up at me.

" Please, invite Amidala to the ship, and dock your ship in mine. I think, it will be safer. You still have your job. " I said, as officially he still had a task to do.

And what could be safer than massive ship that could easily escape.

" Right. I will be right back. " He replied.

" Oh and get to my apartment after that. With Amidala " I said, walking to it.

" Why do you need her? " he asked.

" Don't take me for an idiot. It's not me who needs her. " I replied, not looking back.

~ In apartment ~

" Ughh. That would be harsh. " I said into nothingness, as I prepared myself to show Anakin the files about his mother.

" Get prisoners in to the training room. Be sure to record everything. " I said into the comms, recieving " Yes sir" as reply.

As I was moving alcoholic beverages and food on to the table, I heard door open and Anakin come in with Amidala.

" Welcome, Queen Amidala. " I said, forgetting a certain point.

" I am no longer queen. " She replied.

" Oh sorry. I hope Anakin told you who am I? " i asked, but received disappointing answer.

" Umm. no. He just said an old friend. " She replied.

" I see. Well, Then let me reintroduce myself. " I said.

" I am Anton, the one who you thought was Protoss, the one who helped you around ten years ago and received a certain medal " I said.

" .. but... " She tried to speak.

" Yes, I look different. And it is a long story You might ask Annie about it at later time. We are here for a different reason " I said.

" Okay. " She replied, confused.

" Sit down, and let's eat a little bit. After that we would get to business " I said, and we sat in front of the table.

" So, what did you want to talk about? " Anakin asked.

" First, drink a little. You will need it " I said, opening the scotch and giving him a shot of it.

" Tell me " He said, after drinking it in one go.

" You should read this with Amidala. You both should see this. " I replied, giving him the tablet with description and photos of all the different damage that Shmi suffered.

" This... " Amidala opened her eyes wide after reading just a little.

" Annie " She continued, looking at his angry face with worry.

As I sat calmly, looking at his face, as it twisted in anger and then rage.

All the glasses around were being cracked and then broke from force that he released. After that, even table began to get twisted.

And you should remember, t

this table was made out of very strong materials. Much stronger then any I was selling in my Hive corporation.

" Who did this? " Anakin asked, without being able to read it fully.

I saw how Amidala was crying from sadness and fear.

" Annie. Drink. And continue reading. " I said, forcefully giving him a bottle of heavy alcohol.

He needed it to calm a little and not destroy himself.

" WHERE ATE THEY? " He shouted, throwing the bottle on the wall.

" ANAKIN SKYWALKER ! " I shouted angrily.

" I said continue reading it! After that, I will answer. " I said louder.

" And don't scare Amidala! She is on your side " I said, looking at her crying face.

" Why? Tell me why do you do this? Just tell me where are they? " He asked, less loudly, trying to calm Amidala down.

" You need to grow up Anakin. Don't hide from it. You are no child. Continue reading " I said, giving him another bottle that Anakin opened and made a sip.

" Fine! " He replied, and continued, together with Amidala.

They talked about it, Anakin finally saw how Amidala felt about it, and kept his anger in, without shouting.

Good. Much better.

" Don't forget to eat. I don't need you to get drunk. " I said, as he was really on awful situation and mood.

" You too, Amidala. Drink a little. It will calm you down. " I said, giving her wine. She didn't need something heavy.

" So. you finished? " I asked, as after maybe an hour or two he completed reading it.

Even Amidala stopped crying.

" Yes. So. Why exactly you created this? " He asked, throwing tablet targeting my body.

" Ehh... " I said, drinking a pepsi glass.

" Now, I can explain it to you. " I replied.

" Do you remember the times that I told you and others about this ridiculous dogma of your of making you detached from the world " I asked, as he was listening attentively.

" Yes, I remember. I remember how Obi-wan was always angry at you after these talks. " He replied.

" So, you should understand that I think that Jedi's are not developed emotionally, they make unusually dumb decisions when it concerns emotions. " I said.

" So, I decided to let you know everything about what happened. You need to understand, that neither Sith, nor Jedi are developing normal emotions. " I continued, interrupting Anakin, to let me finish.

" All of you strip yourselves from normal people by either blocking or amplifying your emotions. This is wrong. This is not how people live. "

" And I wanted to break this illusion for you. " I continued.

" You don't need to block your emotions, and you don't need to fully succumb to them. You are the one deciding what you are. " I said.

" Not emotions or lack of them. Being good or bad is your choice. And it shouldn't be decided by how you use force " I said.

" This is it? " He asked.

" Well, mostly. I also wanted to see your reaction on seeing the reality. " I answered to the dumbfounded Anakin.

" Ok. Now, follow me. I will give you what you wanted. " I said, walking out and leading him to the place where all the prisoners were lined up. Also, they were released from the cuffs and given melee weapons, so that Anakin wouldn't feel bad.

" What to do with them, is your choice. " I said, backing out of the way and standing close to Amidala, so she wouldn't get in any danger.

What came after, was Anakin releasing his pent up anger and frustration.

Amidala wanted to rush in and stop him, but I held her by the shoulder and motioned - no.

She looked at me, then at Anakin, and must've remembered what she read. After that, she didn't try to interfere.

~ After the massacre ~

" Did you become evil by releasing anger and killed awful beings? " I asked, looking at him.

" I.. don't think so. But it was still not right. I even killed children. " He replied.

" They already were taught to do these things. And of you didn't, they would've continued this tradition of theirs." I replied, as I led him to the shower and provided him bed that he needed.

Obviously, double bed, as Amidala needed it too ;)

At first, they tried not to show it.

" ... You don't need to hide your affection from me. I know that you are together. Don't take me for a fool. " I said, in better mood.

At that point, they laid down embarrassed at one big bed and fell asleep.

I, on the other hand, flew to the Naboo, as Anakin asked me to. They were supposed to be there.

As I didn't want to travel like everyone, slowly through the hyper space, I just abused protoss spires, and their anchor zones to travel.

As we arrived at the Naboo, I decided to wait at orbit, and just read some newspapers, as I needed to catch up on global news.

After immersing myself in reading, I found out that propaganda was being used on every possible occasion.

No matter the source, there would be traces of it. In some form of way. Direct, or not.

As It was really tiring theme, after two or three hours, I ate and went to practice my powers.

Mainly practice Force for now, as psi energy was in much better condition, and my firepower was enough to cause destruction on massive scale, even without using hive support.

The most concerning thing about growing hive, is that psi energy generation and storage grew with it, and it was harder and harder to control such a massive amount, even limiting it was getting harder.

While I could easily use force now, no other Zerg could do it. Not even one of them could get a different concentration of midichlorians in the body.

There were attempts, but they all failed. No matter the change, concentration was always the same.

1337.

It was too low of a number to even consider using force for them.

And why such a precision? many tests were done, and all of them showed the same number. At least all properly functioning ones.

After sitting on the comfortable chair, placing legs on the pillow, and relaxing my body, I began my so-called meditation.

I don't understand reason for all these poses that everyone try to make in meditation.

If someone used this and it was comfortable for him, it doesn't mean that you should use this position too. Find your own position and enjoy.

In this meditation, I began trying to influence items in my vicinity, but for now I couldn't do it without using gestures and controlling it at the same time.

After couple of hours, I finished my meditation, at which I fell asleep...

And decided to use hive's connection to share and get shared experiences on force and psi energy.

As queens were busy most of the time, there were not as much progress as possible, but still it was plenty enough.

The main difference between my training and received one, is that in received experience I get only understanding and not experience itself, while it helps immensely, I still have to train to consolidate the understanding.

It is not really that difficult most of the time, as I mostly train control and leave all the attacking methods to be trained by the hive.

And as the result, I can easily replicate it with my control.

Currently I am not even sure about my limit of power. I never dared to use too much Hive's psi energy.

It is too dangerous for me.

Well, as I was training to use psi claws, the favourite psi weapons of zerglings, Anakin arrived at my training room.

" wow. Good morning " He said, looking at my psi blades that were around one and a half meters in length.

Any longer, and it would be hard to use. Even this size I rarely use.

The best thing, is that I can use it even without protoss concentrators. But still, with them it is easier and better.

" What is this? Are you a Jedi? Amidala asked, as I walked to them, turning my blades off.

" No, but I can use force " I replied.

" So, where are we currently? How far is it to the Naboo? " Anakin asked, as I never used spire in his presence.

" Well, To tell the truth, We are on an orbit of Naboo. " I replied.

" How is this possible? " Asked surprised Amidala, interrupting Annie, who looked at me with her.

" Well, sorry, but it is a secret that I can't tell you until Annie leaves Jedi and joins my side " I replied to Amidala, pointing with all my hands at Anakin.

" You know that I can't." He said.

" You can, you just don't want to, or have no real reason to. " I replied.

" Okay, stop with chitchat - I need you guys to let us in. I can easily leave you anywhere you want. " I said.

" Annie. Do you need help? " I asked.

" No, I don't need it. " He replied, looking at Amidala embarrassed.

" Oh, boy. You don't need to hide anything from me. I can almost see through you. I won't judge you. " I said, looking in-between them.

" Did you forget what I told you before you guys went to sleep? " I asked.

" Oh. yes. Well, I can easily protect her myself. Don't worry " He replied.

" You sure? I can just be at a distance and not interfere until you ask me to " I said, as I needed to get to the place and time where Grand Chancellor will be announced.

" Yes. And why do you even want to? Don't you have anything else to do? " He asked.

" Nope, nothing " I said with a fake smile, that he could easily see.

" Tell me why. Anton. Really, don't be like everyone else " He said, sad at being treated like that.

" Oi. oi. Sorry. I didn't want to, but it is really something that You don't want to know about. At least it will be extremely detrimental to you. " I said, thinking that it was still bad explanation.

But I didn't want to lie to the living lie detector and a friend.

" Anton. Tell me. I am ready, I am not a kid! " He said, getting annoyed too much.

" Ugh... Well. you see, this concerns things that would be hard to explain and accept. Especially for you. " I said, looking at him and thinking if I should tell him or continue declining his attempts.

" ... Tell me. I know, you are not like that. You don't like to keep secrets. " He said, ready to shout

" Uhh. At least, let me not tell you everything. And don't try to get more from me. It is not that I don't trust you, but it is something that no-one should know. " I said, looking into his eyes, ready to tell something that might make him hate me.

As Palpatine is the one who always supported him in his life, and I was not really more important then Palpatine.

" ... Fine. Tell me what you can, I won't force you. " He said.

" Okay. but don't regret it. And at the very least, keep in mind what I am about to tell you, even if you won't believe me. " I said.

" I will. " He said, looking at Amidala, and then on me.

" First things first. Yes, you can keep her safe by yourself, but it might be too dangerous for you alone, and I can provide support. " I began.

" The more important reason, though, is that I need to Meet Palpatine before he tries to overthrow current High Chancellor. And let me be honest, he will bring ruin to the Republic if he becomes one. " I said, trying to evade main points of what I will need to do.

" And he will certainly create an official army " I continued

" And to meet him legally? I would need to be with Amidala and you " I said, as Anakin looked at me irritated.

" Palpatine is good man, why do you think he would bring Republic to an end? " He asked, and Amidala looked at me more intently.

" I can't tell you a reason, but this is the main reason I need yo meet him. " I replied.

After couple if tries, he gave up, disappointed and annoyed.

But he still decided to let me go with them to the Coruscant. At least when they would go there.

At that moment, I heard something that I almost forgot about.

R2-D2 barges in to the room and shows Obi-wan's transmission.

It seems, that because I didn't pay too much attention, I was forgetting details and mixing the order of things.

I should rewatch them more often, or better just write main things and reread them from time to time.

As Anakin saw this transmission, he rushed to send it to the Coruscant, and then wanted to go and help his master. The sending was not needed anymore, as R2-D2 already sent it some time ago, and was just trying to find his way to the Annie.

" I can help and send some ships with you, if you want " I said, thinking of how to stop the incoming event. The official creation of army.

And let me be honest, the planet that Obi-wan found is not the only one. And numbers are much bigger then in the movie.

Not some measly 200k. More like 200kk clones ready to fight. And much more are being trained at that moment.

How do I know? Protoss had years to find it, and masking as Jedi is simple to them.

So, yes. protoss already know about at least ten planets that were removed from maps and had cities with clones.

Currently I had no time to help Anakin myself, so as he agreed, I ordered couple divisions to get there. As for Anakin, while I was making orders, he already was at his ship.

Fuck.

" Anakin " I said, warping to his back, at which he jumped, not expecting me there.

" I will get you there faster. " I said, as my nanocostume was surrounding my body and creating the armor.

" And while you're getting there, Go to the armory and get some gear. They will give you some better clothes and some more things that you always asked about" I said, contacting officers and giving orders.

" And what will you do? " Anakin asked, as he saw my face being covered by hermetical helmet.

" I will try and stop the creation of empire... I mean, war. " I misspoke and left Anakin.

" What are you t... " He shouted as I warped out and went to the hangar, where my Arbiter was placed.

As we were still at Naboo, I used spire to get to the Coruscant.

Really fast stuff.

Hoping to get everything stopped, as I was pretty fast.

After landing down, I tried to get to the place where everything will be done.

To that ridiculously big room with flying disks. Who the heck even designed it?

By being here without anyone who had allowance, I had to find a way in.

I couldn't just use invisibility, like Dark Templars, and I still could use mind trick.

So, after some thinking, I remembered that I was invited to become part of Republic.

So, this would be the only legal choice? huh.

Fuck it. I don't have much time. I need to get in.

So, the first thing I've done, was changing my costume to more regal one, and went to the registration bureau. There I understood that it would take time, and had to wait.

I tried getting in touch with Yoda or Qui-gon, but it didn't work out.

They were unavailable, so I sent Dark templars to find them and give them phones that every protoss or sentient zerg had.

Yes, I had my own way of communication.

after spending a lot of time, Dark templars responded that they found Qui-gon, who was standing with Yoda and discussed the recording that they received and how to save Obi-wan.

They even already were trying to force Jar Jar bings to make a decisive action that he shouldn't even try to do.

Rhmm. It seems I don't have much time.

Fine, I will have to do it in a crude way.

" Blink me in guys. Be sure not to get caught. " I said to my private DT army, that were called to me.

At that point, I just left the office and changed my costume back to the battle version, forgetting that I already requested joining the Republic.

* blink blink blink *

I was getting brought to the meeting area, where they almost agreed to make the biggest mistake in their lives.

As I arrived right bin front of their doors, I knocked on it and entered.

~ At Anakin's position~

As My ship arrived right at the planet where Obi-wan was captured, Anakin was getting geared.

He was provided with the best gear that I could easily provide.

Shield with battery in the back, full body armor that was impenetrable by simple blasters, his light Saber, a blasters installed on each hand, and a warp crystals that would warp him out if he gets in danger.

The same was taken by the Amidala, except for additional shield that she held with her hand. (and without light saber.)

As ship arrived at the system, Anakin was already at his ship, ready to land and save his master. Again.

As he arrived at the planet's orbit and flew out of the ship, he saw the sight that he would remember for a long time.

Thousands upon thousands of ships began warping in, hundreds of big tunnels through which uncountable armies were flying out of.

He didn't know, that when I said divisions, I meant not just people, I meant ships.

And by couple, around five.

So, Anakin and Amidala were looking at how around hundred thousand different ships were arriving at one lonely planet.

It should be mentioned, that I never showed them my army, or ever talked about it.

So, this was surprise for them. And big one.

Anakin wanted to do this stealthily, and have my divisions as a cover while escaping, but after looking at grand sight of thousands of enormous ships, accompanied by tens of thousands smaller ones, He had no reason to be silent.

So, under my orders, after arriving, army began entering the atmosphere and deploying The rescue squads.

Anakin, without missing a chance, and being able to feel the force, was leading couple of groups to the Obi-wan.

~ Back at my situation ~

" Can I come in? " I asked, getting in without receiving reply.

" Anton? What are you doing here? and how did you get in? " Qui-gon asked, before anyone could do anything.

" Ehhh... Easily. I came here to stop you from creating official republic's army. " I replied.

" We need it. Especially now, we need to save Obi-wan, and Separatists crossed the line. There are no other way " Palpatine said, stopping himself from saying something else.

" Palpatine. don't be an idiot. I am tired of it. " I said, sitting on the chair, as Dark Templars followed me inside and surrounded Palpatine and all the exits.

" What are you talking about? Who are you, to be so rude? " He answered.

" Anton. what Are you doing ? " Qui-gon asked.

All this time Yoda was just watching situation unfold, but Mace Windu was not so calm, and interrupted me.

" I don't know how you got in here, but it is not a place for you. Leave " He said, getting his saber handle out.

" Don't interfere. You don't even know what is happening " I replied, ordering two of the Dark templars to be ready and hold him down.

" And I am tired of all this shit. " I said, looking a little bit down, massaging my eyes. ( through the helmet. yes. )

" Yoda, how many times did I tell you that Palpatine is not worth trusting? Why didn't you do anything? " I asked, as he looked at me and answered.

" Tried I. Hard it is to prove. Time is strict, no time to persuade." He replied.

" Persuasion badly work. Wait I tried, badly worked. " He replied.

" Uhh... so, you decided to wait and see? ehh." I sighed, turning to Palpatine, who was sweating, as three blades were pointed at his body, ready to kill him.

" You waited too long. I will have to do it myself. " I said, looking at Yoda and his tired face.

" Do what should you. " He said, getting even more tired.

He obviously felt my guys, like every other Force user in the room.

" Whatever you ara planning, stop it right now!" Said Windu, turning his saber on, and jumping to evade two Dark templars from getting him on the floor.

At this moment, everything went to hell. Windu, without knowing the truth, and with his

own view of the right, began trying to release the Palpatine.

As one of the best Jedi and fighter, he was standing his ground long enough against invisible Dark Templars, to make me act.

" STOP IT ! " I shouted, using psi energy and forcing his saber in my hand, as he didn't have any chance at resisting it.

But with my shout, Palpatine created Force explosion, that was masked by my release of strength, and rushed at the window that broke from being pushed on by couple of Siths.

The moment Siths entered the scene, real battle should've started, but Yoda, receiving his new exoskeleton and medicine, straightened his back, activates his saber, and in ridiculous act of gymnastics cut their hands of by evading their light sabers.

That action surprised everyone, but it was not the end.

The attacking force 'kidnapped' Palpatine, and continued attacking from the outside, making me use my shields to protect everyone.

As many ships were flying away, some of them I shot down using lighting balls, and others were captured by Yoda.

But the moment they were captured and brought in, they exploded.

And this is how Palpatine escaped with plausible reason, without being seen as Sith.

After this situation, Guards arrived and began the process of interrogation.

But Yoda defended me, and they left to order the search.

After they left, I was disappointed that I tried to explain everything before killing him, giving him time to escape.

I didn't think that he could create such a fast escape plan.

The longer you live, the more you learn.

Ahh.

After that, we went yo the Jedi temple for a talk.

But without our knowledge, Palpatine organized another meeting to become the Grand Chancellor.

Successfully becoming one, and publicly announcing creation of the first republic's army.

And not forgetting to make me a wanted figure again.

" You felt it, didn't you " I asked Yoda, after we arrived at the temple.

" ? " Yoda looked at me with questioning face.

" You felt him using his force powers, when I took Windu's Saber " I elaborated.

" Hard it was. Felt nothing I that time " He said, explaining that my outburst of strength distracted everyone from Palpatine.

" Ughh. It seems that I will need to do everything myself " I said.

" You help I will. Believe in you I. Premonition bad I feel. " He said, as every other council member in the Jedi temple arrived to discuss my matter.
