An Ton's Journey

As Coruscant is the central hub for trading, protoss created spire close to it. They could make it on the planet itself, as the one that has been placed on the lowest levels, it shouldn't be called as placed on it.

The community that grew on lowest floors was absolutely separate from the universe and the government of the planet.

And as I arrived close to the Coruscant, appearing a distance away not to receive unnecessary attention, I caught a little nostalgic feeling looking at it.

I don't know why, but looking at it from space made me feel melancholic.

Well, nevermind.

As we were led to the hangars, I was thinking about me being in bad relationships with republic itself, I mean with Palpatine who have extreme influence on it.

I really didn't have anything against him personally, but the way everyone react at Siths, made me think that it was immature of me to call him as such publicly, especially to the Jedi's who are his allies.

As I landed and left to register at hangar, I was confronted by guards after doing so.

It seems that I was added to the list of people who had to pay some money because of me breaking laws.

And in my current situation, I either begin to attack and flee, or just accept my punishment and pay the money.

As I was seen as a dangerous individual, it seems that a Jedi will be ordered to look after me while I was on the planet.

As I waited, I was thinking about my relationship with Anakin and Qui-gon that didn't allow me to easily discard it.

From my understanding, Qui-gon himself was not really insulted by my investigation, but some people from the council and Republic were.

So, I still have a chance for him to help me.

As the Jedi arrived, I didn't remember anyone like that, so I didn't really pay much attention to establishing relationships with him.

Obviously, I didn't ignore him.

" Hello. " I said, waving at this Jedi, who didn't even change his facial expression.

" Hello. You are An Ton? " He asked, being all mysterious like every other Jedi.

" Yes, it is me. What do you want? " I asked, as I at least needed to know his task.

" First of all, while you are here, You will need to wear this." He said, showing me a bracelet.

" And what is it? " I asked.

" This is tracker that would show your position if you ever break the law. This is needed precaution as you are already a wanted criminal." He answered.

" After that, I will lead you to the office where you will discuss the way that you will have to pay " He continued, giving me the the tracking bracelet.

" You understand that it is not really efficient thing? I asked him, placing bit on my wrist.

" Yes, but this is just to ensure that everything is okay. It is required by law. So, no way against it." He replied, as I and some of my guards walked with me to the required station.

After arriving and filling the required documents, we went to the Jedi temple.

It was requested by Jedi and was just the place I needed to visit to officially request meeting with Qui-gon.

As I entered the temple, we walked to the elevator and continued on the path too familiar to me.

And the only one who sat there with me were Yoda and Qui-gon.

I didn't expect it.

" Hi again " I said, smiling at them.

" Welcome, An Ton " Qui-gon said, as Yoda was in though while looking at me.

" So what do you want? " I said, asking with my hands and head if I could sit on one if the chairs. Recieving a negative from Qui-gon.

" We wanted to talk with you about your suspicions that lead to all the trouble between us and also some more things " Qui-gon said, while looking at Yoda who was still silent.

" Matter grave it is. If what you said that day is true " Yoda began, while Qui-gon finished after him.

" So, why didn't you act? " I asked?

" And why do you even need me? " I continued, a little annoyed at them.

" Hard it is. Proof we don't have. " Yoda said.

" And without it, we couldn't act. " Qui-gon continued.

" So, why do you need me? " I asked.

" We wanted to know if you got the proof that you couldn't get at that time? " Qui-gon asked.

" No, I don't work or care about it. But if you're interested in it, ask protoss. They might've continued this investigation. " I replied, knowing that they had stopped it after my capture by Dark Archon.

" I see. I heard that you wanted to meet me? " Qui-gon asked.

" Yes, I wanted to us you to help me to feel the force. " I said, hoping for the better.

" Sorry, but if you can't feel it at your age, you most probably don't have talent for it " He said.

" Talent he have. Feelings are numbed. New it is. " Yoda said, looking at me, interested.

" What are you talking about? " I asked, while trying to understand what he said exactly.

" How is this possible? " Qui-gon asked, after looking at me and getting surprised.

" Telling hard it is. Time I need with him " Yoda said, getting out of the chair and walking around me.

" hm??? " I sounded confused as I looked at Yoda walking around me.

As he continued to look at me, I began feeling uncomfortable, as being looked at by Yoda, was not really usual thing for me.

And as tension grew, Yoda decided to walk back and sit oh his comfortable chair.

" So, what is going on? Would you explain anything to me or try to keep everything to yourself? " I asked, as it was really hard to understand what Yoda was doing.

" Help we will. But payment will be needed " Yoda said, continuing to get in more comfortable position.

" Master Qui-gon. " He said, looking at him with calm expression.

" Follow him you will." He said, and continued explaining that my anomaly should be kept secret and that Qui-gon will be the one to watch over me.

And as Yoda was talking, I heard something that surprised me.

" Help you need. And to receive it, " He said, while lifting his eyes l, looking at mine.

" Yourself show you should to us " He said, looking seriously at me.

Wait. I need to confirm.

" I am here, how should I show myself? " I asked, bearing small hope that he didn't see through my nanocostume.

" Take off your armor, it makes it harder for us to feel you. " Qui-gon said, answering my question.

" What... " I tried to hide it, uselessly.

" We can feel that you are in a costume, you don't need to worry. We won't hurt you. " He said, making me give up and think if they are trustworthy.

And thinking about it, these two are the most trustworthy and understanding Jedi that I know about.

Well. Fine.

" Fine... " I said, ordering nanobots to spread out and get on my back, without covering my face and making me look like protoss.

As It was happening, I saw surprised expression appearing on the Qui-gon's face.

" Interesting technology. Never seen anything like that " He said, making me sigh.

" Yes, this is different from yours. So, what now? Anything you can tell me? " I said, making them stand up and look at me from all sides.

After looking, Yoda closed his eyes and went still.

After couple of minutes, He opened his eyes and told something to Qui-gon, about him needing to be more careful with his new job.

" So, anything new?? " I asked, using nanobots to cover myself again.

" Great power you have. Hard it is to feel the force in you. Train you must. " He said, and then we proceeded to establish our agreement.

They knew that I was influential. I don't know how, but they knew. And it seems that I would need to help them if they would disastrously need it.

There were some more details here and there, but they are currently not important.

What is important, is that Qui-gon will be teaching me, successfully breaking a lot of rules.

But from looks of it, they were not against it.

The only problem, is that he would act like overseer over me.

And for the time being, it would be told to everyone.

I didn't think that it would be so easy, and after asking about it from Qui-gon on our way back out of the temple, It seems that they felt the need yo do as such, even if it means breaking rules.

As we walked out, my guards rejoined me and we went back to the ship.

As trading routes were being established, I decided to travel a little bit and look at local cuisine of different planets and races.

As teams were already sent for this, and knowledgeable people were in them, I just came to try it out.

Currently, we were getting close to the ship, and Qui-gon was surprised when he saw that it was partially living being.

It was rare sight, but not nonexistent.

After entering it and providing him room close to mine, we lifted off and decided to travel to the parts of the universe, where no spires were placed.

I am surprised that there were such places, but after thinking about it - spires were provided by system, partially, so protoss couldn't get them easily without me.

And as we arrived to the furthest spire, I went to the core room, where Nexus's core was placed and integrated in the ship.

It was miraculously used by both mechanical and biological parts of the ship.

I can't even imagine how their technology could be so adaptable and work easily with each other.

But looking at the core that was covered in a shell and was covered by the tissue, it made me think how is it possible.

Ship was a mix of protoss technology with added hyperdrive and could use warp tunnels that zerg use.

The strangest thing for me, was ability to communicate between ship's AI and biological ship's mind.

It is kind of strange that it was so easy.

From the outside, ship was covered by the thick protective layer with plates that could regenerate rapidly.

Beneath the outer layer, was the layer provided by the protoss and in case of it being broken, it could be rapidly covered by shield or living parts.

Inside the ship, there were three main parts and one technical zone.

Technical zone was strictly for ship's crew, and it was a technical part of the ship, where all the shields, engines, generators and other things like that were placed.

That part was made using protoss structure as a base and covered by the biological.

It could use both types of protection, and it was the central part of the ship itself.

Two others, were separated in only protoss or only zerg parts and s mix between them.

On top of the ship, you could see the Protoss's ship and many protoss weaponry shining through. Also, it was detachable from other parts, in case of escape needed.

The only detachable part. And it was just for emergency.

The bottom part was made out of biological mass and modified by queens to imitate the normal ship's structure.

It was not slimy, it was covered by carapace and had some eyes for surveillance, and even movable paths if needed.

The front-central part was the main part. And the biggest. It was a mix of both worlds, and could even modify rooms to the needed specifications.

When bigger ones were needed, rooms could be expanded, when none were needed, the place would be filled or emptied, depending on place.

Architects were careful not to leave slimy or moving parts showing, as first of all hygiene had to be followed, and no one should be able to easily damage the ship.

Currently, this ship had a newly grown cerebral that was modified. It's position was not specified, as it could move it's brain anywhere, successfully allowing it to survive easily even when almost all of it's flesh would get destroyed.

Also, walls on this ship were thicker because between two sides of the wall it had living parts covering and cooling or heating everything that was in there.

So, when I gave Qui-gon his room, and it was growing in size, he was standing with interested expression on his face.

Well. as we began moving to the far places in galaxy, Qui-gon and I began trying to make me feel the force.

At first, he tried to make me meditate, but even in meditation I couldn't feel it.

After that, he tried to use force on me body by pushing me with it, or covering my whole body.

These days, I was beginning to feel a little discomfort all across my body, but it was not in long periods if time, so I just discarded it at first.

But after a month, when I was annoyed at it and finally visited doctor, I was told that Psi energy was spreading all across my body, and for some reason, it was acting up and making me uncomfortable.

They suggested for me to release more of it, so After one of the visits on the planet to eat and collect some food, I decided to release some of it.

As I stood up on the barren land, I began feeling my own psi energy.

As it began, From my eyes and mouth liquid fire began flowing. But what I didn't expect, was that it even began spreading out of my nose and ears. Successfully making me look scary.

In this mode, I began lifting all the dried up earth individually.

Not like all at once, but each one of them I was controlling individually.

It was the only thing that I was doing on the ship, as anything else would be dangerous.

So, I began from it.

After making ten or so small pieces of earth fly around at insane speed without breaking, I began trying to use my excessive energy.

So, I released it and created psi storm in front of me, successfully making multi-layered lightning storm appear, burning the ground and heating up the air.

And after I was done with it, I heard that Qui-gon was talking to me while looking amazed .

" How can you do this? I knew that protoss could use some kind of energy in strange ways, but I never saw anything like that"

" This is not really strongest they could do. They just didn't show you what they can. Templars rarely fight using all their powers, they prefer longer fights." I said, at my small powers that I didn't even use fully.

Range of storm was minimal, but while using energy to move dirt, it was hard to make it bigger then 10 meters in diameter.

And after that, he told me something that I should've though about sooner.

" This! This is the feeling that I had while trying to feel force in you! Your powers are blocking you from using Force! " He said, after coming to his senses.

" Wait. what? Then... how should I feel it? O won't discard it to get the force" I said, not wanting to lose this power.

" We need to look into it! " He answered.

After that, I continued releasing psi energy in the air and then went to the Qui-gon's place where we tested things out.

After some time, scientists joined, then queens.

So, days passed.

Then, weeks.

Then months.

So, after half a year all the work brought some fruits.

Even though pain across my body didn't decrease, medicaments were able to dampen it and even remove.

The fruits that all the work brought, was the chamber where they would limit my perception of psi energy and make me unable to feel it.

This, in theory, will allow force not to be overpowered by my increasingly strong psi energy.

And today, would be the first day of trial, after testing it. obviously.

So, removing all clothes, I entered chamber and sat on the chair.

Around me, there were a lot of emitters, pumps, and other things that I didn't understand.

After sitting down, some gases were being released to weaken my body's resistance and immunity.

After making me feel weak, they began releasing energy waves that would disrupt my feelings and only at that point, they would release the liquid in the chamber, where I would not be able to feel psi energy.

I didn't really know the whole process and all the details, but as I understood, after I would be in the liquid, the disruption emitters would stop and begin covering my feelings that allowed me to feel the energy.

So, right after the liquid began filling the chamber, my body began feeling pain. More and more.

It was expected, as my body had big amounts of psi energy stored, so I would have to bear with it until the chamber fills up and emitters would calibrate themselves after initial testing.

And this feeling was bad. I tried asking the system about it, but system currently is busy with something, and it didn't have time to spend on it

It said that currently, it was hiding our position from someone or something.

I tried asking, but system just ignored me.

So, currently I was trying to endure the pain. It felt like hours, but only around a minute or two passed before I stopped feeling psi energy.

It was kind of strange feeling, I was used to feeling it all the time.

While I was in my thoughts, Qui-gon began releasing force and covering me with it, but my numb senses were not feeling anything.

So, our first session was ended after couple of minutes, as it was really difficult and dangerous to limit my psi perception, as it could lead to trouble.

From that day, every two days I was trying to feel the force in a different ways.

Three years before second episode, Protoss finally were able to create the device that only covered my psi sense.

At that point, I already was back at one of the planets, as research was being done globally on my side.

I even forgot about the land that I wanted to buy, leaving everything to the others, falling into the hole of wanting to feel the force.

What disturbed me, was that system was distancing more and more.

After some questions, it seems that there was something that almost caught on our position while we were escaping from Dark Archon, and system was working on hiding us from it.

These days, almost all the resources that system could consume were spent on hiding from that entity. So, I was limited in new technologies as they were the most consuming.

What was good, I finally was closing on to being able to summon Tassadar.

While it was not really soon, but in a year and a half, i would be able to summon him on my side.

Well, back to the force.

In the chamber, that was already made comfortable and much more advanced, I was sitting in the thick liquid, and was covered by the force.

Surprisingly, I felt something right before the end of the procedure, but it was weak and uncertain.

From that point.

After every procedure.

I was feeling it right before the end, but because it was not safe to keep my energy uncontrolled, it was decided to wait for now.

I was surprised that Qui-gon was so eager to make me feel the force, but after a year or so, and talking with Yoda, I understood that ot was first time something could limit or hide the force, excluding force itself.

And to keep it quiet, they decided to cooperate with me, as even force wanted that cooperation.

At first, I tried to keep information about the psi energy hidden, but after a while, I stopped caring.

Why would I care? I doubt anyone would be able to use it, excluding beings from SC universe.

And even if they could, so what?

The problematic condition that I was experiencing, was affecting me more and more.

Currently, my body already thickened and widened, by psi energy.

And this was troublesome.

Until system is back, or I willingly allow myself to evolve, risking becoming a woman again, I will feel pain without medicaments.

And nowadays, I need to take them everyday.

I hope system would be back soon.

After all this time, that passed while I was trying to feel the force, I was almost not paying attention to the world.

I knew that Anakin grew up, and was becoming more famous with every year.

I think he is around 18 years old now, huh.

After that, I tried looking at the news about Dooku. He was still alive and not found.

Anakin was still not married.to the Amidala, and Palpatine was not currently Grand Chancellor yet.

Ot is interesting.

Palpatine, from my research and spy network, was not really in good relationship with Jedi council anymore, but still they were not in a bad one as well.

In the last years, Hive network, our race's company already began spreading out all across the universe.

We were providing pets, food, materials, services and much more.

As Zerg had no problems with numbers, and Queens were humanoids ( mostly ), we managed to create a stable business.

Currently, we were not very known or had some kind of ridiculous fame, so we just pushed with numbers and availability.

The pets that I heard about, were modified zergs, that were genetically modified to look cute, depending on the buyers race.

Some thought of original zerglings being cute, some even bought hydras, successfully establishing a trade with strong systems, one even tried to buy the Ultralisk, but as he had not enough money and couldn't keep buying enough capsules with creep, he decided not to buy him.

Zergs were being used in many fighting arenas, and some of them even were used for [ Censored stuff ].

As zergs still were still connected to the hive, it provided us with a lot of unprovable information.

But even like that, information was information.

As for reason of selling them? Well, some zerg were not against it, some were unable to even think, and it brought a lot of resources and information to us. So, why not?

As for not receiving attention, zerg never travelled in huge groups and never colonized planets in known galaxy.

~two and a half years until second episode ~

Today is the day of prolonged session. All the safety precautions were made, and now was the time.

After reaching the point at which I began feeling it, I felt something more. The force, unlike the psi energy, was everywhere, so by feeling it, I felt everything around me. But this condition didn't last long, for me.

But for everyone else, it was long. extremely so.

From their point of view, after I passed the mark at which I was feeling the force, I stopped moving.

And a minute later, creep began flooding in and converging on to my body, forming a cocoon with me at the center.

It surprised everyone, especially Qui-gon, who knew about zerg's existing, but didn't know about possibility of me doing something like that.

It took time for everyone to calm down, and even more time to explain it to the oblivious Qui-gon.

From that point, for almost a year I was in cocoon. For me, minute or so passed, but it was an illusion.

In this year, research of my situation began. But after understanding that it was just zerg's ability to mutate, and interrupting it was detrimental to me, I was placed in the spawning pool and left to my own.

As I opened my eyes, I felt different. I saw more then I possibly could and even felt it.

After my initial confusion, my normal vision returned and I saw darkness.

And as my feelings were returning, I began climbing out of the shell.

The moment that I cracked it open, and I swam up, I felt the world in a different way.

As i climbed out, I looked down, while moving my hands in a way to wipe all the liquid off from my body, I saw bȯȯbs...

Fcking fck!? Not again!?

After initial shock, I began thinking and understood that I evolved again. And naturally at that, successfully returning me to this type of body.

Ahh.

While wiping myself, I saw protoss vehicle coming to me.

I remember that I had nothing on me only after one of the zerg queens gave me clothes to wear.

Well. Currently, I would've made a desperate attempt to use system at helping me, but it was impossible if I obviously didn't want to be killed after being found out by the one who system hides us from.

So, nothing could be done now.

After riding back to my house, I met Qui-gon who was there with other researchers and medical team.

Mc got his powers, Hive's and protoss's influence grew, and now I can finally make it about him using his available powers, and not just finding a way to get them.

Even though, he still need time to learn the force, we are very close to the action.
